Education / Re: Cut-off Marks For 2013 National Common Entrance Examination Released by craigj: 8:21am On Jun 11, 2013
Hon. Kontigi:
people just comment ignorantly. The cut-off marks are not set arbitrarily; rather, they are based on a number of factors including pass rate - this explains for example the difference between male and female figures for kebbi state. The Unity Schools cease to be such if students are not admitted from all the states of the federation in equal proportion.
The states with high cut-off marks just happen to have large numbers of applicants- nothing more; it's not because the the boys and girls from there are more brilliant than others.

Well, I disagree.. You find out places like Anambra and Abia, their males are trained from a very young age to start leaning how to do buzns or trained on some certain skills. Its not about the large number of applicants. Its bn like this for a very long time(the cut-off marks).

Anambra has always bn the highest. Funny of enough, the females are always higher with a point or two. But it seems its now balanced.

And who told you GEJ is worried? Kindly comprehend yourself.

Politics / Re: Speaker Of Rivers Assembly Stripped Of Security Personnel by craigj: 2:06am On May 17, 2013
Its only in Nigeria you get to see Government officials having a pack of security personnels attached to them. Can you imagine a speaker with four aides? I can bet its even more than that cos the wife and children's aides havn't been added.

hello house, my inernational passport will expire by November and i will like to travel by june to Qatar.. Do i have to renew my passport, cos i heard my passport must be valid for 6months if i want to use it....any infor on dat

Its best you renew your passport rather than coming down here and you find out you would need to travel back to a neighboring country that has a Nigerian Embassy or better still going back to Nigeria.
Just do it once before coming over.

cnwamo: Hello @justwise

I'm trying to find out how to secure a visa to qatar, cos i beard its favorable for nurses, do you by chance know anything about how to go about it.
....

Travelling to Qatar isn't that difficult. You just need to have your money.
As for Nurses, yeah you can get a job.
But truth be told they recognise skilled people.
