Christianity EtcRe: My Thoughts On The Death Of Rev. David Azzaman By Deji Yesufu by CreatedtwoRule: 8:41am On Jun 01, 2025
Heart lifting piece. He is in heaven. May God use his death to bring those mocking his death to eternal hope in Christ. We should know too that we are not sinners rather we were sinners saved by grace! Thanks

My Thoughts on the Death of Rev. David Azzaman

By: Deji Yesufu

I did not know him at all. I never heard of his name, but it appeared that a lot of people on my social media feed knew him quite well. David Azzaman was a Christian minister who led ministry in Kaduna. Accounts following his death say that he was bold in his enunciation and defense of the gospel. He was also into apologetics; often defending the faith in the face of Islam. If you lead a Christian ministry in northern Nigeria, you cannot avoid the question of Islam. Azzaman died from injuries he sustained from a motor accident on Saturday 24th May 2025, as he returned from an outreach to Benue State. When you look at his Facebook wall, you will see pictures from the very outreach he had carried out in Benue State. Korede Olawoyin mentions that Azzaman was billed to partake in their forthcoming apologetics conference. His death is a great loss to Christian witnesses in Nigeria, and as someone in ministry myself, I cannot but rue it. But the more I see social media messages on the death of this man, the more I think it is important that I share my thoughts again on the question of death. I hope that at the close of this essay, Christians can remember the hope we have in Christ, and those who do not know the Lord might have an opportunity to hear the gospel preached. This way, Azzaman’s death will bring with it some positives.

The first thing that I think is worth mentioning around this subject of Azaman’s death is to remind ourselves of some basic road safety rules. In his book, “You Must Set Forth at Dawn”, Prof. Wole Soyinka explains that one of the things that informed the setting up of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) is the sheer number of needless deaths that occur on Nigerian roads through motor accidents because our people ignore basic safety rules when driving. I think that God, the maker of the heavens and the earth, has been extremely kind to the people of this country. Going by the sheer number of bad driving and bad drivers we have on our roads, it is a pure miracle that we do not have a lot more deaths through accidents than we have today. Let us remind ourselves that an average car weighs about 1.5 tones. When you realize that impulse, which is the measure of impact on any object, is the product of the weight in kilograms and the velocity of the vehicle, you will understand why driving at merely sixty kilometres per hour is putting the car at dangerous levels of impact. But Nigerian drivers will drive at no less than a hundred and twenty kilometres per hour. Any disruption of that vehicle at that speed is sure death. Second, I do not understand why the use of seat belts is completely foreign to the Nigerian psyche. I got a clear understanding of how effective seat belts were when Princess Diana died. The driver and the bodyguard seated in front of the car, lived, while Diana and her boyfriend at the back died. What saved the two men in front was seat belts. I do not know what exactly the situation was with Azaman and those in the car with him, but one will not be surprised that his death could be traced to a simple lack of observing basic road safety rules.

Another point that needs to be emphasized is that Christians need to be reminded that they are mortal beings: Christians can die from accidents too. I cannot wrap my head around the idea that some believers have that they cannot die in accidents. Some Christians think Christ died and rose again to keep them safe from road accidents. That is a pure lie. I read a Facebook post that recalls that Azzaman was told that he could be involved in a motor accident, and he replied he would never die from an accident. Now, it is this attitude that usually makes believers not pay attention to basic safety rules. If you think you can never die from a motor accident, you will not do the things that could immune you from an accident. I have lived long enough to see many young, strong and vibrant believers die in vehicular accidents. I have stopped asking God why this thing happens. I now know that if I would not die in an accident, I should do things to avoid it. First, by all means, avoid long road trips. Travel only when it is necessary. Stay at home. Use a plane if you can afford it. Where you cannot, ensure you wear your seat belt when you travel. The Bible makes it very clear that the body of the Christian is mortal. It means our bodies can die just as the body of the unbelievers. We must be responsible for keeping our bodies alive and well.

A third thought on Azzaman’s death is a response to Muslims. I hear that some Muslims are rejoicing that David Azzaman died in an accident. I hear that Azzaman never took prisoners when it came to debating Muslims. Well, perhaps, we should tell our Muslim friends that David Azzaman is in heaven and has gone to be with the Lord his served all his days. The reason why Azzaman used a good part of his ministry to debate Muslims is so that he could show them that it is only in Jesus Christ that any man may find hope in the afterlife. My earlier appeal in this essay has been to believers to be responsible with the use of their vessels on earth. But whether they are responsible or not, the believer who sleeps in death opens his eyes to heaven in the life to come. There is no eternal hope in Islam. The only way to God’s kingdom is through the gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You must repent of your sins, and believe the gospel if you will be saved. This, I am confident, is what David Azzaman wishes for all Muslims in this world to know, and it is just fitting that on the occasion of his death, we can again remind ourselves of the gospel message he so faithfully preached throughout his life.

A few days ago, I reached out to a few of my associates in Christian ministry and told them that in case I die suddenly, they could access some vital information about the church I lead and the numerous Christian ministries I am involved in via a certain channel. My mentality about life is this: I am not the owner of this body. Jesus Christ gave me this body and I have used it for forty-eight years now. He can very well come at any time and demand for his property back. When I slammed my head to the pavement last year in April, I was supposed to have returned this body to him; but he gave me a second chance by ensuring that I was wearing a helmet that day. It is extremely presumptuous of any of us to think that we deserve a day extra. We don’t. We are sinners, who have been saved by the grace of God. But the reason why men die is because we still possess a body of sin, that God has covenanted must die – because of the sin of Adam our forefather. Therefore, the wise person is a person that is ready to die, daily. Jesus Christ does not owe you another day; he does not owe you another hour. We will do well to follow the admonition of James to always accentuate every plan we have with “if the Lord wills” (James 4:13-15). What that means is that if God permits us to see more days, it is his grace and mercy to us, and we should endeavour to make the best of the remaining days we have.

For the Christian, death is a bad thing. It brings an end to relationships on earth. It turns a wife into a widow and renders children fatherless. It makes a congregation lack a pastor and a solid witness for the defense of the gospel is silent. In the same breadth, for the Christian, death is a good thing. It is the pathway to see the face of our Lord. It is an opportunity to hear “well done, good and faithful servant”. It is the pathway to the kingdom of God. It is an opportunity to join the chorus of glorified saints. Paul said that to live is Christ, and to die is even better. David Azzaman has taken the better part – however untimely it might seem to you and me. His death can be a reminder to the church to pay attention to basic road safety; it can be an opportunity to remind ourselves of our mortality; it should be an opportunity to share the gospel with the unbelieving; and it should be an opportunity to talk about how the gospel renders the sting of death powerless.

Amen.

So all these is for who because they all have no scriptural basis and for specifically!
Tboy222:
The world is approaching it's finality. The word of God is true. So many prophecies foretold in the Bible have come to pass.

Howbeit there are some which are yet to be fufilled. These include the rapture, Christ second coming and the great tribulation.

We also have the great white throne judgement and Christ millienial reign.

The Antichrist reign will be dominated with the use of artificial intelligence and robotics with an advanced surveillance system.

This current AI technology will be upscaled to Artificial Superintelligence which would approximately be a billion times smarter than every human being living presently.

With the invention and introduction of quantum computers which will make information processing seamless hereby leading to increase in knowledge aalso referred to as intelligence explosion.

With the introduction of 6G, 7G, and 8G technology which will make information sharing and data processing in large amounts faster and more effective.

Eminent futurist and Computer Scientist Dr Ray Kurzwell has predicted that we are very close to the Singularity. An age where human and machines would integrate and communicate seamlessly.

A global reset would lead to the introduction of a one world digital currency, a one world government, and an economy run on socialist principle where your assets and finances and even choices would be determined by the government.

The introduction of BCI ( brain chip interfaces)
Which will be attached to the brain or in your hand will connect the individual to the centralized system or the Super Intelligence also known as the image of the beast.

Failure to receive the mark would lead to indescribable torture and eventual decapitation.

So brothers and Sisters we are in the end times. There is no time left. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

Have you confessed all your sins and turned away from them, or do you still commit sins and claim you are covered by His grace.

God is a loving God but He is also a God of Justice. He does not condone sin in whichever way or in whatever form.

That is why He sent his Son to die on the cross so that whosoever beliveth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

But believing is not enough, you have to approach the cross and humbly surrender your sins to Him, confess them all and turn away from them.

Feed your spiritual mind with the word of God and see Jesus Christ conform and renew your mind according to His promise.

Please do not delay, tomorrow is not guaranteed, going to church is not enough God is not a God of religion, He hates religion
What He wants a relationship.

That was the purpose of creation. He created us to have a relationship with Him.

Do you think of Jesus Everytime, do you meditate on His word. Do you spend time in prayer, if not reconsecrate yourself to Him.

Surrender your life to Him. Confess your sins and ask Him to forgive you. He loves you so very much. God bless you and nay His grace shine upon you.

‘The God of Adeboye in conjuction with Pastor Adeboye’s anointed handkerchief resurrected a woman, dead for 11 days. The man first used the handkerchief on her and then shouted, ‘in the name of the God of Adeboye, rise up and she rose up.” -Recent testimony shared by Pastor EA Adeboye

Important questions to ask:
- Is the God of Adeboye the new way of praying now? Has it taken over the name of Jesus? I never read in the Bible when the apostles healed in the name of ‘ God of Abraham or Isaac. Rather they said in the name of Jesus(Acts3:6)

- I posted recently about a a growing concern about most of Adeboye’s prayer decrees not ending in the name of Jesus. Is the name of Jesus no longer enough? Does he feel that because he calls God , daddy, he is now at par with Christ?

- Is this not creating room for hero worship and idolatry? Should Adeboye be the centre of attraction or Christ?

- Is it time for Adeboye(83) to hand over to a younger minister and get his deserved rest in his old age? Ageing naturally comes with cognitive decline which affects our judgement and executive decisions. Many of his recent statements have been sadly questioned and sometimes ridiculed on many social media platforms.

- Do you think Christ would be happy that people(Christians) are doing (miracles) or making prayer decrees without his name? Is this not a disregard of His authority ?

John 14:13-14 NIV
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Christianity EtcRe: How Christians Can Publicly Correct Wrong In Churches Without Undue Criticism. by CreatedtwoRule: 7:53am On Jun 01, 2025
You gave a good advice, but I hope this is not your church constitution you copy pasted here. If I have my way all prosperity mega churches won't exist in Nigeria all their GOs are grandmasters of occult groups only fronting church! They are a bad influence on the youths. They have nothing to do with Christ and his church, if they have Christ maybe this your advice can work but Christ is OUTSIDE their heart. Revelation 3:15-17, 20-21.
cutecommend:
Tolerating and pampering sin, evil, errors, false doctrine, heresy, worldliness e.t.c in the church will make the church be a shadow of itself now and in the future. Now, in correcting and addressing these issues, it should be done properly and with wisdom.

How Christians can properly correct faults in churches.

(1) Sending Letters: Instead of publicly criticizing a church who made a mild mistake, you can send a letter to the authority of the church, stating with biblical references their faults and why they should change for good.

(2) Openly Addressing Strange Doctrine: If strange doctrine comes from a church, you are to openly correct it with the truth from the Word of God and with all humility. All forms of spiritual pride and undue criticism should not be there.

(3) Be Cautious With Calling Names: The issue of calling names or specifying the actual people or clergies that made errors or sinned should be done by the leading of the HolySpirit and not because we feel we are the ones who are to correct things in this generation.

(4) Preaching Undiluted Gospel: If we focus on the raw gospel of Jesus Christ, the church will be healed. Instead of focusing more on who is doing wrong or preaching nonsense, focus more on preaching openly and on social media the raw gospel of Jesus Christ: fruits of the Spirit, Holiness, Uprightness, Love, Giving, Sanctification, Justification, Restitution, Rapture, Second Coming of Jesus Christ e.t.c.

(5) Rebuking Sin: If a church is going astray in sin, especially an embarrassing sin done without shame, you are to rebuke them openly, warning them to repent; all by the leading of the HolySpirit. But if it is a sin that can be discussed with the church authority, do so by the leading of the HolySpirit.

Repent from all sins and all wrong criticisms you made. Simple say this "Lord Jesus, please forgive all my sins, come into my life, break the yoke of sin and write my name in the book of life in Jesus name. Amen"

Happy Sunday to you. Go to any good church today.
Christianity EtcRe: Everything From Rome Is A Lie by CreatedtwoRule: 10:38pm On May 31, 2025
Where you get all these your interpretation? Very wrong.
MrPresident1:
Daniel 8:11-13
King James Version
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The prince of the host is Jesus Christ. The daily sacrifice ceased when Rome destroyed the temple in Jerusalem in 70AD

The sanctuary was cast down in 70AD when Rome conquered Jerusalem

All of these happened because of Judah's transgressions. He had been warned in Deuteronomy 28. He had seen the example God made with the northern kingdoms. By 70AD, Judah's cup was full.

Rome, the conquering power, cast the truth of God's word to the ground, and has practised and prospered in its falsehoods till date, until the time allotted for it is over.

These are all verifiable facts of history

RomanceRe: I'm Tired Of My Marriage, This Is Why I Want To End It by CreatedtwoRule: 4:16pm On May 26, 2025
Part of the reason it is dangerous to Mary a lady who have dated many yahoo boys!
Wakatumbit:
I've made some previous posts about how my wife threatens me with leaving our marriage everytime we have small issues (I didn't post it with this account).
She always threaten to leave anytime we have misunderstandings, not even only misunderstandings, even when we are having normal conversations and someone refers to maybe a bad marriage experience, she always says if it's her she will leave. I've spoken to her about it several times, I have even spoken to her family about the issue but it keeps repeating itself.

She has this kind of mentality that she can leave the marriage at any time I do something to her and she repeats it every time, the last one was during an outing when we had a misunderstanding, even before hearing my own side of the story, she said she already tired of the marriage and wants to leave, so I told her to go if she wants. The next morning, she came to wake me up and told me she doesn't want to do again that she wants to leave, she said she'll call her people and I should call my people. I said fine.

I told my family about it, and they supported me because a woman can't threaten me with marriage after one child.

Another thing my wife does is that she constantly compares me to other men, telling people I don't provide for my family, I don't take care of her, to the extent her friends are telling her that if a man doesn't provide for his woman, then he's pushing her out to meet other men.

In regards to the issue of providing, when we met, things were going very well, it was just the two of us and I had money at the time, I took her on vacation, booked flights for her, bought her hairs, a new phone and all. But now we have a child, added responsibilities, and money isn't as it used to be before but one thing I never do is to starve my family.

Last year I made close to 20m but I didn't see the money, not because I'm an extravagant spender but because of family expenses, I can't even explained what happened to the money aside the fact that I bought a car.

I opened a business for her with almost 3 million, the business crumbled, she doesn't want to do anything, she stays home all day just pressing phone. If I don't have any money at all she can't support me, she calls me for everything, even to as little as salt in the house.

She started comparing our marriage to when she was single, that she used to wear the lastest clothes and buy the lastest hair, and now she's married she doesn't get those things forgetting those where the thing I used to do for her when there was enough money.

This whole thing has made me tired of the marriage and I don't feel like continuing it any more, I've told her to call her people since she doesn't want to continue the marriage so they can return the bride price. I just want to focus on my life

If you place God first in your life it means you have removed him and placed him outside your life already because he lives inside of you!
Mokwugwo1975:
Christ Holy Church General Supretendent Tasks New Priest On Exemplary Living

From Mokwugwo Solomon, Awka

The General Supretendent of the Christ Holy Church International, Most Reverend Dr. Daniel Okoh, has tasked newly ordained priest of the church, Rev. Pastor Geofrey Madubuike, to place God first in all his endeavours, and to strive to have absolute and unshakeable faith in God, who he serves in His vineyard.

He gave the admonition last weekend at the Christ Holy Church, Ivite Aguleri, Anambra East LGA, in a sermon during the ordination send forth thanksgiving service of Rev. Pastor Geofrey Madubuike, a former Director of Media and Research of Christ Holy Church International.

Speaking through the First Superintendent of Christ Holy Church, Odozi Obodo, Awka Superintendency, Venerable Apostle David Achukwu, Okoh, who is also the national president, Christian Association of Nigeria, reminded him that the journey of priesthood is not easy as it is associated with diverse challenges.

"Do not to be discouraged or give up in your faith, but stand firm. Be courageous and have absolute faith in God like the biblical Shedrack, Mishak and Abednego. God who chooses you will strengthen and make you to overcome whatever obstacles on your way.

"You have come a long way. Therefore, you must be steadfast in your calling. God who chooses you will strengthen you to excel. I charge you to be courageous, be strong and maintain absolute faith in God.

"Don’t be afraid of whatever challenges you will meet on the way. Look onto God; depend on him. Don’t ever give up in your faith. I assure you that God will uphold you and will not allow anything to weigh you down. Always believe that your redeemer, the Almighty God, liveth," he said.

Speaking, Rev. Pastor Geofery Madubuike thanked God who he said, made it possible for him to be elevated as a reverend minister in Christ Holy Church.

He also thanked the General Superintendent of the church, Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Okoh, for his encouragements, and his belief in his ability to serve the church.

He also thanked elders of the church, as well as the wife of Most Rev. Dr Okoh, Deaconess Ngozi Okoh. He also thanked his own wife, Supervising Channel, Blessing Chukwunonso Madubuike, as well as the entire Madubuike family.

Recalling his tedious journey to the priesthood, Madubuike pointed out several obstacles he faced on his way, which, according to him, include strange sickness and other challenges.

He expressed gratitude to God, who he said, gave him the strength and good health to continue in the journey; adding that he would always remain grateful to the God of Christ Holy Church, Odozi Obodo, which he referred to as a big God that does big things.

Also speaking, Ven Christopher Muo, and Rev. Pastor Sabastine Obi, two senior priests of the church, enjoined Rev. Madubuike and his wife to continue looking up to God for further elevation in the service of God; adding that God would continue lifting them up wherever they found themselves.

In her own speech, wife of the new priest, Supervising Channel Blessing Madubuike, expressed gratitude to God for His mercies on her husband, herself, their family and the entire congregation of Christ Holy Church, Ivite Aguleri, saying that God would continue to bless them.

Sounds like comedy but serious one, sorry the money lost. But quickly sell to pantaker to recover small money, before another kazeem will finally sell the carcass!
HelenaWills:
I wanted to get my mum a small car last year.
Didn't have money for a tokunbo so I asked my brothers to help me surf jiji for any affordable car.
They showed me a Civic 08 and since I drive one myself, I felt it would be nice to match with my mum.

My brothers and a Kazeem went for inspection and they discovered the car had a few things to be fixed which made them slash the price from 2.4M that we initially agreed to #2,050,000.
This was in June last year.

They set out to drive the car down to my house before heading to my mum's but brethrens, since June last year till this very moment as I type this. The car has only been parked from one Kazeem shop to another, on some days it was left by the road side or a petrol station for days out of frustration. I have spent above 700k on it all to no fruition. It's been almost a year now and this car hasn't made me it my house yet talk more of sending it to my mum. I contacted the guy and he said he had tried by slashing the price and that was all he could do. At some point, he stopped picking my brother's calls.
Please what advice can you give me?

Is this comedy or just saying there is another way to learn mechanic by own certain cars!

Can I get him arrested or take legal measures against him at least? Or has this become my headache for life?
I need chunks of recommendations please.
Christianity EtcRe: Can A Genuine Born Again Christian Not Know The Date He Or She Got Born Again? by CreatedtwoRule: 5:55pm On May 11, 2025
Knowing the date you got born and having a counterfeit salvation is the worse.
cutecommend:
Every salvation experience must come with a valid encounter, situation, happening, place e.t.c, but a person may know the encounter, happening, place and situation, and may not know the exact date. For example, if uneducated people were preached to in a village and they got saved, they may not keep record of the date but may know what happened and the place the salvation encounter happened. So do not judge people who told you of their salvation encounter without remembering the exact date.

It is a good thing to know the date you got born again.

Today is another day to have a date for your salvation. So please humbly and genuinely say this: Lord Jesus, today is a good day, please forgive all my sins, come into my heart, break the yokes of sin, be my Lord and personal Saviour in Jesus name. Amen.

Attend a good church.

Happy Sunday to you.

Garki Monday market is a shadow of its self, you can see the end of the market from the gate, during good luck Jonathan, if you move an inch away from the person you are with you can reconnect by phone calls. Human being swarming around each other like wws in a decomposing carcass.
Glimpsetv:
A Nigerian man has expressed shock at the unusually empty state of ShopRite at Silverbird on a Saturday afternoon. He didn’t expect the mall to be so deserted, with only a few shoppers trickling in. This, he says, raises serious concerns about the true condition of the Nigerian economy.
He noted that Saturday afternoons are typically when families flock to malls to shop.

However, due to the current economic situation in the country, only one till was operating out of several available in the mall. He pointed out that this stark emptiness reflects the harsh reality of the economy, as many people can no longer afford the basic items they once eagerly came to buy.

The video capturing this scene has since gone viral, sparking widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing deep concern over the state of the economy.

The 🌎 World’s 3,028 billionaires are spread across more than 800 cities around the globe, from Feldmeilen, Switzerland to Ezulwini, a small town in the western part of Eswatini–better known by its former name, Swaziland, in southern Africa.

Yet nearly a quarter of them, worth a combined $3.3 trillion, have chosen to make their primary residence in one of just ten cities in six countries, according to Forbes’ latest World’s Billionaires list.

The Big Apple is home to the most billionaires yet again, with 123 of them–worth a combined $759 billion. New York City has ranked as the top city for billionaires for all but one of the past 12 years. (Beijing was No. 1 in 2021.) Of the billionaire New Yorkers, 68 are finance and investment magnates, 13 are real estate moguls and 12 are in fashion and retail.

Moscow comes in second place, with 90 billionaires–16 more than a year ago. The growth in billionaire residents pushed Moscow ahead of Hong Kong, which tied for the No. 2 city last year. Moscow’s billionaires are worth $409 billion.

Hong Kong, one of three Chinese cities in the top ten, is No. 3, with 72 billionaires.

Always agile species!
kay29000:
I started in the poultry business back in 2016. i have been in and out of the business because of rising cost of chicken feed, but I love the business so much I keep going back to it. I have two spots I raise birds at; my poultry (outskirts of Ibadan), and my parents house in Lagos. Last February, after selling off most of my birds at my parents house, my mom suggested I try out local chickens instead. I felt they took too long to grow, and they don't have enough meat on their bones. But she told me there was a market for them, and they were less stressful, as we had a big abandoned garden in the compound they could forage around. When I was still reluctant, she went ahead and bought the first batch with her money, and asked me to help take care of them.

So, in February 2024, she bought a mature local hen. After watching it for a few weeks and understanding its daily routine, we bought two more local chickens.
