Since we are "good people, great nation" as the old slogan says; in the spirit of using our righteous minds, i sugest we give this low quality and problematic phone maker a small opportunity, lets do this and see if the company will be able to start competing with other brands with internationally accepted high standards.
As for me, i suggest they match the price of their phones with its level and standard. So since new variants are coming, i suggest as follows;
1) Infinix note 8- between 30k to 40k for 32gb, 64gb, lite, pro etc.
2) Infinix hot 10- between 25k to 30k for 32gb, 64gb pro, play, go edition etc.
3) infinix s7 30k to 35k for pro, lite etc, they can arrange storage variants between price range accordingly.
4) smart 5 15k to 20 ,a,c etc, arrange storage according to price range, this u believe is the lowest entry level.
5) tecno spark power 2 30k to 35k since its just one, it should be more than 35k.
6) tecno spark 6 20k t0 25k usually 32gb and may be a go edition.
7) pop and pouvoir should be more than 25k but keep pop highest 17k.
camon 16, air, pro and premier. Sonce this is somerimes regarded as the flagships. You can peg premier at 55k and spread the rest below.
You see from experience, the kind of phones you produce and the problems they give that we see here is what has prompted these price range, which has to be matched with the quality. When vloggers and etc want to review tour phones, when they look at this price, nobody will say anything bad, even your buyers in nigeria will not complain. LASTLY AND IMPORTANTLY, IT WILL END THE BEEF WITH XIAOMI USERS, trust me, this will stop the quarrels in the phone section, its actually embarrassing to see the current price of the note 7 series just because of only mtk helio g70. All over the phone section some monikers like zesushvwritter create deceptive threads with the aim of discrediting Tecno and Transsion but glorify Xiaomi who are guilty of the accusations they aim at Tecno and Transsion


Mind you I’m no fan of Tecno or Transsion and I will pick a flagship Xiaomi device over a flagship Transsion device but I’m definitely a fan of the truth
Tecno devices like all other devices have their problems and the only problem Tecno can be held accountable for is the exorbitant price and nothing more


These Xiaomi faithful’s falsely claimed Tecno lied about their camera being 64mp on the Camon 15 premier and 48mp on the camon 15 pro because of the processor of Helio p35 and Helio p22 they both use


But Tecno clarified this on their Official Website by saying Sony-Who are one of the only two sensor makers, made the sensor which they called IMX686 being used in Camon 15 Premier


And this can easily be verified by downloading the AIDA64 app from Google Playstore on the device, The sensor makers will be boldly written.

After I enlightened him by giving him the official webpage where Tecno confirmed this sensor he backed down on Twitter but has chosen keep the misleading tweet up and has continued to spread the false news here on Nairaland


Zesushvwritter on twitter-Where he claims there is a standard organization of Nairaland


He tweeted this and I quote- “You claimed Tecno used a binning technology that doesn’t exist, a photography advancement that is yet to be achieved until now on a low gpu processor and poor cpu performers like the mtk p35 and p22”


He also tweeted and I quote- “There is no such thing as companies engaging in photo binning” full stop


But a little research shows how he is ignorant to this issue with this tweet because presently All Sensors of 48mp or more use Photo Binning Technology

Tecno explained the camera on their official site but we’re yet to see Xiaomi explain their 48mp Redmi Note 8 (With 4 Camera's) with SD665 processor that cannot have a 48mp using his logic, 108mp Mi 10 camera on their official site and zesushvwritter won’t explain how but then again double standards


And like he said on Twitter, “Care to explain to Nigerians how 48mp is possible?”


Zesushvwritter has promised to Reveal the trick Tecno used on July 31, it is unclear if this trick is currently known to him or not but for reasons known to him only he doesn't want to share with us for now

You must have noticed here on nairaland that there is a constant tussle between xiaomi, Transission and
Smartphone users in general. Guests here have also been witnesses to this conflict, where people continually find the issues involving Transission and xiaomi fans/marketers annoying and sometimes disturbing.

I personally took the issue a bit further when it was obvious to me that the average smartphone user in Nigeria on the street is being taking for granted by Transission holdings. A parent company to Infinix, Itel and Tecno.

This prompted me to raise a thread on twitter on How does the Tecno camon 15 premier support a 64mp camera lens? to possibly get Tecno to explain how they managed to implement a 64mp camera lens on an mtk p35 chipset that neither has the cpu power nor the gpu workforce to support such demanding task of processing such a large image sensor.
The said twitter thread was created on April 2nd along with a hashtag #TecnoMustAnswerToNigerians and these saw a large support as well as contributors from all over Nigeria and internationally. But no reply officially or unofficially was sent or passed across from Tecno.

Recently, I was engaged in an argument where I was accused of defaming Tecno by drawing to light the discrepancy in Tecno's claim that they used a 64mp camera lens in an impossible situation. A thread aimed at discrediting me

This argument brought to light a new discovery that Tecno had updated their official site to accommodate the detail and procedure that was used to archive a 64mp image sensor capabilities on the Mtkp35. Tecno also went further to state that Sony is the manufacturer of the 64mp image sensor on the Camon 15 premier.

I and other technically intelligent individuals here on nairaland have tried and failed in revealing that a far bigger deceit is embedded in Tecno's claim that a Sony 64mp image sensor is the main sensor on the Camon 15 premier.


The real issue here is this.
I don't trust Tecno, I don't believe that there is a 64mp image sensor in the camon 15 premier let alone the sensor being made by Sony.

But my believe or trust as regards to this situation is of no importance, as I am just one person.

I am calling on every smartphone user, Tecno fan and lovers of transparency and credibility.

We need Sony to confirm or deny that they sold a 64mp image sensor to Tecno which was used on the camon 15 premier.

I have made personal effort, and did hit a snag. I was told by a Sony representative that Sony® is not obligated or mandated by law to respond to individuals inquiry except its of public interest or violation of personal right or endangerment of human life is involved.

I have decided to bring this to you.
By one, its impossible to know what's the truth.
By us, Sony will respond.
