Sienna, only one percent of Nigerian car owners have a jump lead in the boot.
Sienna, only one percent of Nigerian car owners have a jump lead in the boot.
life is all about choices...if the rest 99% of nigerians choose not to have jumper cables in their car...its their choice...they choose to manually lift batteries whenever the need arises....... " poster that said that his jumper didnt work. 2 causes exist 1. the amperage rating of the jumper is inadequate = u bought cheap/fake jumper 2. the battery you were trying to jump was so flat that the surpporting battery could help 3. the surpporting battery isnt too good either 4. you didnt follow the right procedure in hooking up the jumper. its not negative to negative, positive to positive its negative to ground, positive to positive...and dont let the 2 cars touch themselves!!! 5. its adviced to keep the engine of the good car/battery running b4 you attempt to crank the bad car/battery caution: crosscheck the terminals b4 hooking up...as a wrong hook up would wreck both either cars electronics..brainbox , wiring harness , fuses etc |
the problem with over speeding is not the speed.......its what happpens when you stop suddenly!!!!. humans as a specie are not designed to withstand sudden stops... imagine you are travelling at 120mph...and u are forced to stop suddenly [accident/running into an obstacle], hope we all hv a basic knowledge of physics and newtons law of motion ''Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it'' ur brain and internal organs..liver/kidney will still continue moving at that 100mph for a sec secs until it slams against ur cranium, in the case of your skull....and this could squash ur brain and cause some blood vessels to rupture.......and the victim dies from cranial haermorrage. his/her corpse will be perfect externally..no injuries..no bleeding..........cause of death in naija lingo...na shock kill am!!! ![]() |
COPPER PLUGS ??!!!! on a 2006 vehicle?that is abuse, copper plugs will consume fuel, cause soot to form in ur engines etc... peeps should be more car savvy, that way the mechanics wont be taking them for a ride... thats y i wudnt even advice my enemy to buy a naija used car....unless he knows the previous owner and he is technically sound and not miserly |
pls how much to clear 2000/2001 land cruiser? i hope its still legal to import 2000/2001 model car into naija? |

ok,..ur explanation is logical...what am saying is that some leeway is always given to some posts that arise as a reult of what some1 posted on the original thread....not every minor spinoff of a thread/discussion needs a new post to be created....and since this is not a 100% car forum with proper subsections....applying verbatim all the rules of a car forum isnt very apprioprate, eg if a member posted what he did to his headlights...and another member wants to show a that headlight xzy he saw on another forum is better..................so you recommend, he opens another thread?...just to show the comparism?..the whole thing would hv lost its meaning :fencing: i think the moderator was too stringent in applying the rules in the what i did to my car thread,..... but anyways..u guys are the take the last decision, thanks for even attempting to clarify ur position...some others wouldnt |
happy new wk folks...keep the requests coming |
the thread...what did you do to your car today... the moderators have killed the spirit of that thread as people are tied of posting...cos whats the use of posting if ur post will be hidden by the moderator?..nairaland moderators..methinks you guys need to check out other car forums and see how things are done....this incessant post hiding isnt a good idea...at all |
thanks!..what of 04/05 and 06/07 toyota 4runner |

something like the one in the link below is good....some folks use carburretor cleaner, even though its not so ideal. http://www.amazon.co.uk/BG-4073-SENSOR-CLEANER-114ml/dp/B00653Q26W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1372348159&sr=8-3&keywords=maf+cleaner also there is some truth in what the other poster said about checking ur timing belt/chain..see if its properly adjusted n confirm it isnt slacking |
