Whatsapp has just added more updates in group chats to help group admins manage the group well and better. Now an admin can close the group chat at any time of the day in other to prevent members from having access into the group.

Group-info: Admins now can put in place those who can edit the group name, pictures and group description. When placed on only admins,its only an admin that can edit the group name and other necessary things, original members can't change or edit anything on the group except if it's on all participants.

Send messages: Admin can use this feature to close down a group at a given time depending on the rules set in place inside that group, when send messages is set at only admin no member can send message into the group except the admin until the settings is changed back to all participants.

Group Admins changing of admin has been made easy you don't have to remove a contact and add it back because you want to remove that person from being admin


When send messages is placed on only admins, normal members will not be allowed to send messages into the group, they will be as to message any of the admins Instead.


Now when recording on whatsapp you don't have to hold down the record button until you have finished your recording before releasing it. But now you can just press the record button and lock it until you are done without holding it down like before.
