"let me quickly add to PCMs coming to Enugu. I live and stay in Enugu. I currently stay in Agbani Rd, Enugu town.

indeed Enugu is a nice place to be. it is cool, stress free, and cheap transportation.

Nevertheless, you must know that they is nothing in Enugu, save from secondary schools, there are relatively few and rare industry or good place of PPA in Enugu.

Infact, all you need to do in Enugu is just enjoy your state allawee, there are nothing that could bring extra cash to you here in Enugu.

The only good place to serve in Enugu is the town, when sent to other local governments please just respect yourself and save.

Having spent most of my life in Enugu, I can tell you few things you can do to make extra cash in Enugu.


1. Photographer: If you have a camera, please take t along with you to the camp, buy that small machine used to print passport, they are many persons that will need passport in camp. Also, many persons will also need pictures in camp and even during in your PPA. You can make 100k with this in Enugu.

2. Graphic design: if you can design with corel draw, Photoshop or any graphics software, then Enugu can be a good place to make money.

3. Beer parlor: Yes, it may interest you to know that in every street here in Enugu, you will find atleast three beer parlor. If you have money to start this business, I assure you, you will hit it real good in Enugu.

let me stop here. Welcome to 042. They are many ladies here. Just keep your money and have them as many as you want, just remember to use condom, better still, abstinence is the best option.

4. Betting Shop: it crystal clear how betting has grown and many persons are benefiting from this company. Any PCM who wish to make cool money should try to open a betting shop and i assure you, after your service, you will not want to go.

Enugu is a nice place to enjoy your money if you have got it.

D airport iz in d enugu east and it's lyk an hour or more to awgu. Transport iz relatively cheap. Pls go to Camp early. It pays a lot cox nysc kits na scam. Get urs early so u can xchange among ur sef. No water in camp. I repeat no water. Ntin lyk borehole o. Tankers wud deliver water to GP tanks in camp wich u wud fetch. Ready for ur shot puttin. No toilet o. D condition bad. Back of hostel k ND M wud b ur bst bush position. Or rada gada plot for parade ground. Plenty nylon. Tissues. Sanitizers etc. Vewee useful. Camp wud finaly b fun. Mammy food n drinks surplus. Flex n flex ur money. First allawee wud come in camp. Spend wisely. I don tire to type bt I suppose don epp enoff. Abi who e no epp??

Try to be ur platoon leader, its advantageous if u heading ur platoon and try participate in d social activities like drama, band, football, volley ball, social committee, OBS.... I Bet u ur town is sure.
Trust me Enugu has alot of vilages u wnt like to b.

Registration starts on Wednesday but camp will be open for early birds.

If you like come by 12mid night, soldiers will be there to attend to you. I will advice you leave on time for safety sake. If you arrive Enugu town late you may not get bus to camp so try to leave early.

Your platoon is determined by your registration number at camp. During my service those from 0-100 were in one platoon, 101-200 in another platoon and so on. Platoon leader is usually the tallest guy.

And at Unugu camp there is no fence not to talk of gate. It is surrounded by Hills and behind the local government council Secretariat.

Its raining season so it will be very cold.

1.the camp will be open for u on Tuesday, and you be given a temporary hostel to stay for that nyt.
2. registration will commence on weds, cos that's wen the camp opens officially.
3. anytime u arrive, the soldiers are around to welcome u...
4. platoon is selected base on ur state code last number, I.e if ur number ends with 1, u will be in platoon1, 2 for platoon 2 etc...

Congratulations to you guys. Wish you the best at Awgu Camp, in Awgu LGA. Enugu. Fantastic place with lots to drink and do.

As for transport I will suggest you check out with God is Good Motors. I think they offered to drop all new corpers at their respective camps at no extra charges.

If you are posted to Akpakume/Nze in Udi, let me know so I teach you survival techniques up there.


Oh, please don't forget to go with clothes to protect yourself against cold up in the hills.
