We require the service of computer sales representatives to manage a newly establish computer sales business. Applicants must possess the following:

Minimum of OND
Good knowledge of computer hardware (particularly laptops).

Previous experience in computer sales business will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in Installation, troubleshooting and general maintenance of computer system will an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools is required.
Familiarity with website update, internet and social network will be an added advantage.
Must be smart, outspoken and outgoing.

Icocop101: Ok noted @ the op, but still wonder why i've not heard any jingle yet from the telecommunication networks as regards this recent development.

The service is provided by a third party company and because it serves all the network, it doesn't give any of them advantage over others. So, I'm not expecting the network operator to market the product. As per popularity, it is just a matter of time but it might be too late for many...

Icocop101: I hope with you also that this new DTU software invention will soon replace the normal recharge card vouchers if and only if the brains behind this new development have taken their time to ask themselves these questions:
(1)If it works exactly like the way the old MTN vitual top up do,what then happens when as a consumer i want to recharge while on motion (e.g driving on hold-up,in a cab e.t.c.) and can't wait due to traffic?
(2)What happens when you need to input my phone no and I don't have it by heart?
(3)Have you taken time to envisage what happens when you are dealing with an impatient customer and network is not available or failing?
.....Just to mention but a few. Please,i think curious peeps like me are also waitng to read your answers!

Thanks for raising those concerns. When I said future replacement, I didn't mean 100% replacement. You will agree with me that there are alternatives to recharge cards but recharge card is dominant. I see DTU dominating in the near future. Also people buy cards in traffic because it is available. Street/traffic hawking will also be outlawed at some point, is just a matter of time. Can you buy anything while driving in New york, South-Africa, London etc? Can't you read the body language of Fashola and them?

I re-emphasis that DTU is the future. With Nepa ongoing privatisation, every house in Nigeria will be force to use pre-paid meter at some point. DSTV,Filling station, BRT all coming on board. With CBN cashless policy and all that.....

Please save this thread and let us review it in 2-3years time. I'm confident that this is the future! Just that it will become too late for many by the time it becomes popular. The big boys in the society will want to hijack it with their millions. But if you start early, you will grow with it.

This is an opportunity with unlimited potential. You can become anything, it is all in your hand..

Thanks for your advice but mobile money and DTU are totally different. Lets wait for 2-3years and come back to discuss this... DTU is the future but you may not understand now.
