STANBIC IBTC has paid. No alerts but you can confirm it through your atm |
I thought every man has a right to his opinion? If someone finds everything wrong with a govt that owes him, his opinion should be respected, asking him to resign is absurd. Rivers state govt claim to be broke yet they pay APC excos (15 exco members per ward) and now we have unit excos (10 excos per unit) and the state is planning to pay them next week. I am a core APC member and a ward exco in my LGA. Despite my unbiased support for Amaechi, I still sit back sometimes and ask where the state govt have its' money to pay its' supporters and not its' staff. No hate required, this is just my opinion and like every human is entitled to an ass*hole, I think I'm also entitled to my opinion |
When two elephants fight, the grass will. Jonathan and Amaechi are the elephants and we are literally the grasses right? |
jamesbridget13:Nobody said we can't be transferred until after two years... they were all rumors then |
joyblinks:Joy I no get strength ooh... in case anybody decide to beat you, no put me for hope hear? |
Stories that touches the heart... No payment of staff salary after the third week of the next month? Amaechi has finished Rivers State. |
Onlyhandsome:What connection does this have to do with this thread. Your writeup is okay just that it's on the wrong thread |

FiafiaD, why are you such a hypocrite? Must you drag us back to that old argument? God forbid |
This forum has lacked information, how come the Rivers state teachers Ebola training has come and gone and nobody notified? |
Our salaries (stanbic/unity) will be coming later than expected, next week is even a doubt. The state is broke and we shouldn't expect the govt to kill themselves |
Just yesterday, bio777 was asking me to grow up, right now he's in a heated childish quarrel with his kindergarten mate mathematica #FunnyHowAdultsAct |
Alert received, STANBIC IBTC. . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . Just kidding |
STANBIC IBTC is surely the most useless bank or the people crediting them our monthly salaries are. God knows i will surely skip classes for three weeks since they've made me go through this shit for almost three weeks now |
You people are busy here thinking of when alert will come, Amaechi is busy thinking of the right persons to install as the caretaker chairmen. #UselessGovt |
The delay in payment is not intentional but the truth is that the state is broke. Let's hope that the govt can borrow and pay us b4 the week runs out |

Fiafiad: With the look of things, if per-adventure the government fail to pay the salary of civil servants for two-three months, some person‘s may faint or even die oo.For once, you've agreed that we have a useless govt |
I just saw this on the BBC world news app and felt I should share as some of us might be called upon for the training. All schools in Nigeria have been ordered to remain shut until 13 October as part of measures to prevent the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. The new academic year was due to start on Monday. But the education minister ordered the closures to allow staff to be trained on how to handle suspected Ebola cases. Five people have died of Ebola in Nigeria. The West Africa outbreak has centred on Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, killing more than 1,400 people. It is the largest ever outbreak and has infected an estimated 2,615 people. About half of those infected have died. The virus is spread between humans through direct contact with infected bodily fluids. There is no cure for Ebola but with intensive care treatment and proper hydration, patients have a chance of survival. It spread to Nigeria - Africa's most populous country - in July, when a person infected with Ebola flew from Liberia to Lagos. Protective clothing 'shortages' The Nigerian government says it hopes its efforts to contain the virus are working, as there is only one confirmed case of Ebola remaining "All state ministries of education are to immediately organise and ensure that at least two staff in each school, both private and public, are trained by appropriate health workers no later than 15 September 2014 on how to handle any suspected case of Ebola," said Education Minister Ibrahim Shekarau. "And also embark on immediate sensitisation of all teaching and non-teaching staff in all schools on preventive measures," he said. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has temporarily shut an Ebola testing laboratory in Kailahun in eastern Sierra Leone after a Senegalese health worker became infected with the virus. There have been 392 Ebola deaths in Sierra Leone, according to the latest UN figures released on 22 August. Kailahun is one of the worst-affected districts and is currently under blockade. "It's a temporary measure to take care of the welfare of our remaining workers," a WHO spokesman is quoted by the Reuters news agency as saying. On Tuesday, the WHO said an "unprecedented" number of doctors and nurses had been infected with Ebola which was further impeding control efforts. Infections were due to a shortage of protective equipment and staff, it said. Only one or two doctors are available for 100,000 patients in some of the affected countries. |

barikay: My bro, it is not RSGV this time it is one Amaecom Company marketers that came to my sch. I am writing this here so that others will not be a victim. The marketer told me, they give out items to civil servant with gradual payment. I told her that that idea is good but that that will be later. She went ahead to tell me when I will need the item I may not be opportune to see them again. The only option she present was to fill a form so that when ever I need it I can give her a call, I did. I am surprise that she/her company deducted my salary without my consent. The most annoying part when I called her was that, my money can not be refunded and I should go to their Office to cancel it, else my money will keep going. My advice to everyone here is never give them/anyone your account number. They may mean well but I see this as trick likely on the part of the marketer to initiate a transaction. While I was in service, a laptop marketing agency came to the camp and played us the same trick. Luckily for me, one of my roommates was working at a renowned computer accessory company, who told me that those laptops the company wants to sell to us at 108k naira (9k/month) actually costs 75k (44% profit). A friend of mine still went ahead to do the transaction and was deducted at random (9k some months, 10k some months). In a nutshell all I'm trying to say is that, if a company wants to sell you any commodity, don't buy them at a part payment agreement cos you'll always be at the losing end |
