Losing is also part of the learning curve but I actually lost because I placed an auto trade not knowing it was with a big lot size.

I usually trade Supply and Demand zones.

Hope you know Deriv has made changes to their minimum lot sizes and margins

I noticed the big lot size on those trades and wondered why you did that since your usually lot sizes served you so well.

About the changes, I don't think they make that much difference really.



And I didn't know supply and demand works on synthetics. Which timeframe do you identify/draw your zones on?

After testing scalping on dex index, i'd advise you run far away from it if you want to scalp

Dex index is for day trading and not for scalping


Scalping on it will kill it will kill your acct faster than crash index if you use that 10 pts stop loss because a single bar on dex index can go 100 points against you in 5 minutes.


Just focus on crash and boom with the strategy in the video and normal chart reading for scalping.

Then apply the risk mgmt system

Here's what can happen if you reduce stop loss to 2 points on crash and boom and it goes against you

Risking $1 on demo acct, I hedged a position by going short and long.

See the result below...market overshot the stop loss by a far distance

This is why I said for risk:reward reasons...dex index is better unless you decide to focus only on catching the crash in crash index and get a system for doing that only.

do well to follow that for buys on crash 1000...you can enter with 0.30 then close 0.20 lot size immediately after entry

That way, with stop loss of 10 pts, even if it overshoots, you may lose about $1-$1.5 max

You know, I was thinking of the same thing. Place a trade with 0.20 lots and close 0.10 lots immediately.



Hopefully, one will not be unfortunate to get a huge spike immediately after placing the trade.
