Please can you give us scriptural references to back this up.

I have seen scriptures quoted here from those who believe in tribulation before rapture.
Funny enough, this was the same topic my pastor preached in church today, telling us that tribulation will happen first.

I have decided to do my own study in the next few days, but I'll like to see the scriptures you are standing on. It will help people like me.

Please avoid those stuff he wrote on those threads, they are missleading. The Bible made it clear in different passages that great tribulation will start before rapture but this righteousness2 guy is mixing things up, thinking that great tribulation is all about God's wrath but there are two different sufferings during the great tribulation.
During the great tributions, there will be two types of sufferings.

1. Believers Suffering: This is the suffering that the believers will suffer in those times from the hand of the Anti-christ , which will be cut short and the believer will be snatched to heaven (rapture) according to the book of Revelations

2. Unbelievers Suffering: This is the suffering that the unbelievers will suffer in those time from the hand of God known as (God's Wrath). People should know the difference and stop seeing the two as the same. And that's the key problem with all these confusion and fear that some believers have

I used to think rapture would occur before the tribulation, but I am starting to have doubts about this. Most likely, the tribulation would meet us here and we would be taken in the midst of it.

Exactly, that's what the Bible says. Don't mind any other opinion other than this

The elect of God will not go through The great Tribulation. It is the Jews that'll pass thru The great Tribulation becos it is a cleansing time for them; and that is also when the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached to them.

Also note that just before the Antichrist will be manifested, the rapture will take place...the elect will not witness the last 3¹/² years of the Antichrist reign (which is also the period of the Great Tribulation).

The period of The Great Tribulation is between the Jews, the Antichrist and the People of the Antichrist.

So will there be a second rapture that will happen for the Israelites that you are talking about after other Christians has been raptured before the tribulation

On the rapture, I strongly believe its gonna be before the great tribulation.

Some people get confused though because the bible mentioned saints whose blood cried for justice.

Let me point something out. At the time of the rapture, there will be believers who did not ready themselves. Who will be left behind.

Now when the tribulation starts, people will be forced to receive a mark. Some of these believers who are left behind will strongly oppose that in such a way that many will pay for their redemption with their own blood.


They will rather die than take the mark. Taking the mark means that their is no more redemption for you but everlasting damnation.

Oga, I will advise you to go and read the whole of revelation and know better, there is nothing like anybody using their blood to pay for their sin. The blood of Jesus is the only acceptable blood God accepts for the remission of Sin. No other blood is qualified. Forget what you saw in movies , books etc and study the Bible for yourself

That's why Jesus said if those days are not shortened, the elect will not make it

Yea, you got it right with the shortened days but I didn't get what you meant by "in the middle of the week". Because it's not going to be a week thing

It is not even before or after but will happen during the great tribulation .

What righteousness wrote there isn't correct. I will advice you and righteousness to go do research about the Rapture and the great tribulation which comes first, with the scriptures yourself and not with what you learnt or were told in the past or what you Google. Thanks

Christians will be very much be around when the Antichrist is revealed....

Most people think immediately the Antichrist comes, persecution and tribulation of the Saints start.

The Antichrist is coming to deceive mankind with the help of the false prophet to show that he's the very saviour mankind as needed from time immemorial, infact Jesus said the deception would be very strong that if possible God's chosen ones would be deceived too, however many Christians will see through the deception and warn humanity (Same as the two witnesses of God at that time).

When the Antichrist having enter the holy city and trampled it under his feet (Abomination of desolation), then the tribulation with start for those who refused to worship him and take his mark... The elect of God will be greatly persecuted even unto death, but anyone who endures to the end shall be saved

However when the time is fulfilled, the Lord Jesus comes to rapture his saints away from the wrath of God(7 trumpets sounds) that would befall the Antichrist and his followers on Earth.

Rev Chapters 1-3 Talks to the church of which we are.

From Chapters 4 Explains events that should happen the church is taken away

The Bible records that the Coming of JESUS will be like in the days of Noah and Lot
Luke 17:26-30 , Matthew 24:37.

Don't confuse persecutions, trials, and Tribulations we go through as believers here on Earth with the Great Tribulation.

The Great Tribulation is a Specific Period of untold and unimaginable Wrath on Earth. From GOD and from the Lawless one.

The GT is a Time of Jacob's Trouble. Jeremiah 30:7. It's a time to reconcile Isreal to JESUS as the True Messiah.

You Cannot survive the GT.

So who are the Gods chosen ones this place is talking about? Or a we going to be having two different raptures happening?

Please can you show me where in the bible I can read this that the saints will be taken away b4 the time if the lawless one. Because the places I have been reading in the bible. Says Christians will be here when the lawless one will appear and be here to see some of the things he will do before they will be snatched by rapture

No I am not talking about the wrath that God will bring down on the wicked. Before God brings his wrath, the antichrist will reign on earth for sometime when he will give out his numbers (666) and whoever that doesn't take the number will neither buy or sell. That is the time I am talking about. Will rapture happen before that time?
