Indeed.

It's very irritating and even more infuriating is the fact that virtually every appeal to the mods and supermods seems to be left unanswered while literally threads-worth of spam goes unnoticed by that due-to-be-decommissioned buggybot despite numerous reports and complaints.

It's one thing to have buggy software mislabel your posts and threads but it's another when the humans that were put in place to check it seem to care very little, if at all, about actually checking it.

The first time, I appealed to dominique, the only active mod in the Investment forum, and the Supermods and in retrospect it appears it was the supermods that fixed it albeit anonymously. The second time I appealed to both of them and nothing happened after two days until I was adviced to take my complaint to the Politics forum and it was swiftly dealt with.

That was yesterday. Today, I've been banned again from the same Investment forum for posting the diametric opposite of spam and none of them seem interested in helping.

At least you have something meaningful to say and not the other guy telling us writing first emerged in China and Sumeria.
The coward continues with his strawman arguments. Read it, with comprehension:

CryptoCoinr:
musicwriter post=59081386:
If you're able to show me any form of writing that existed before the hieroglyphs I'll delete my Nairaland account.
Cuneiform script dating back to ~3500 BC.

Edit: And since you specifically said "any form of writing", here's another even further back:

- Jiahu symbols of China - ~6600 BC
You asked for "any form of writing" that preceded hieroglyphics and if I did show you, you'd delete your account. I gave you two but rather than keeping to your promise, you continue to show your shameless cowardice in every post.

Hmm, I'd like a less "professional-looking" photo. Not that I'm doubting it's legitimacy as I did a little googling and he (as well as the girl in the OP) are supposed to have Occular Albinism - specifically Nettleship-Falls albinism - but the image can look significantly altered to many people.

This's probably a second account of the other novice, but assuming you're someone else who have some information to share or honestly would want to know, I'll explain it to you.
Oh coward, he's not me but at least he got you to further make unsubstantiated claims.

Be informed, Sudan, Kenya, ;except Ethiopia, all these countries were created between 1884-1885 at the Berlin conference. Before then, they were collectively regarded as same.
No it wasn't.

(Northern) Sudan was, and I quote:
in ancient times the Kingdom of Nubia, which came under Egyptian rule after 2600 BC
Just the same way Nigeria and environ were collectively regarded as "Niger-area" before it became Nigeria.
Niger-area according to whom?

Other less popular parts were simply called lower/South Egypt. In fact, Egypt itself was actually called "upper" Egypt not just Egypt. The Bible book of Isiah 11:11 mentioned it in its proper way.
And the evidence linking your claims to reality is? Or is this just hot air?

The map you posted there has nothing to do with the point you're making, in fact you probably copied that piece somewhere and if you understand the history you'll understand its incoherently presented.
You've given ample evidence that it is you who doesn't understand history (else your account would be deleted by now) so back up your claims.

Phut not Pnut is thought of being anywhere from Libya and the Mediterranean, not African hinterland. Just take a look of map of Africa and you'll clearly see where southern part of Egypt is. When you say Southern part of Egypt it could loosely extend anywhere from Kenya to not only West Africa, but down to South Africa. Just take a look at map of Africa and it becomes self explanatory.
The Southern part of Egypt ends where the Northern part of Sudan starts. It's no more reasonable to say SA is part of Egypt than it is to say China is part of Russia simply because one is above the other. That's a non-sequitur.

Men..... .. you're totally far back from basic knowledge about Africa and the world. You need serious assistance to get you out of where you are.
I love how you take your delusions so seriously.

National geographic channel a science oriented channel documentary on the origin of the human race. See documentary below.

[ -- snip --]
So I say: "according to the "science" that has time stretching back 1.5 MYA, [b]life began ~4 BYA[/b]and Africa, much less Egypt, didn't even exist" and "Ever heard of Pangaea?" and your retort is National Geographic and a video about how humans supposedly "evolved"? grin, this is fun.

Talking to you amounts to talking to a dead man.
Projection. Seeing you trip over yourself time and time again makes it worth it though.

And you say Africa didn't even exist millions of years ago, so where did the first humans live?
Ever heard of Pangaea? You and your cheerleader kay9 might want to brush up on your general knowledge before going further.

I told you the original name is Kemet (Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya) these cultures themselves it thought to have come from lower part of Africa. So, if the narrator says Egyptian writing comes from the lower part of the continent, he/she could actually be talking about West Africa which is still Africa. So, you can see the history is so old nobody can even date it in thousands of years since it runs to millions of years.
You can continue to make spurious sounding claims like this but until you're able to provide a shred of legitimate evidence for it, it's nothing but hot air.

Still displaying your cowardice I see.

musicwriter:
Do you know how old Kemet civilization is? We are talking about millions of years and you are talking few thousands? Life began in Kemet. At least according to the science of archeology and genetics, the first humans lived in Kemet about 1.5 million years ago. Kemet history is so old its called pre-history i. e they've been before history!.
And the legitimate evidence for all these your claims are? BTW, according to the "science" that has time stretching back 1.5 MYA, life began ~4 BYA and Africa, much less Egypt, didn't even exist.

And now you acknowledge they invented alphabets.
No I didn't. The very video you linked to even acknowledges @4:04 that the Egyptians were a child to a parent group responsible for what lead to alphabets.

What did they use alphabets for?
Irrelevant.

He provided 1 link that in no way substantiates his claim and unreferenced images which when Reverse Imaged, still offer nothing to bolster his claim.

Dude, you're just hopeless. Feel free to wallow in your self-imposed ignorance.
It's very hard to take the claim of me being in self-imposed ignorance seriously when you can't tell the difference between 6600 BC, 3500 BC and 3000 BC, can't see two inches in front of you when that tribalistic mindset sets in and can't seem to tell the difference between inventing alphabets and inventing writing. Perhaps project less in the future, it'll help you look less inane.

Hey! I want all email droppers to be very careful here.... Satoshi is a token (Digital Money) given by a publisher for viewing and completing a task on their websites. They also pay you for referring people to their websites.

I worked 10hrs on the computer everyday to get free satoshi and I wonder where U are getting all this phones from.....

Can you please tell us the reason why you dont want to drop the sites here?

If it is a Satoshi, you guys can always visit my blog https://btcbeta./2016/08/15/cryptocurrency/ to claim your free satoshis..... I will always update and add a new satoshi websites everyday...

Please be warned and dont fall a victim of SCAM.
It's actually not a scam, IIRC that's the first time I'm saying that about anything somebody has promoted in this forum. They're one of the longest reigning and most legit faucet sites around today, and they phones are available if you earned > 12 million of something.

However, it will take you exactly 573.91613361762615493958777540867 years to earn enough of that "thing", if you did what I did, and 1,147.8322672352523098791755508173 years if you don't. Both with 0 referrals.

I can help you with the link and screenshots if you want.

ProgrammingRe: Contest[closed] : Program A Function to find if a phrase. is in a string by CryptoCoinr(f): 5:24pm On Aug 02, 2017
CryptoCoinr:
I'm more of an amateur than a newbie (sort of) but it took longer than I expected, and more iterations than I anticipated (still have them in Sublime Text), but I finally did it. This is in JavaScript:

[-- former presentation of code --]

You can test it yourself with your browser (Chrome; any browser really but the shortcut is for Chrome) if you're using a PC.

- Press Ctrl + Shift + J in any open tab
- Copy and Paste the above code into the console and hit the Return/Enter key
- Type find("whatever word you want to find", "whatever sentence you want the word to be found in" ) into the console and hit the Return/Enter key.
I've figured out the BB Code for code so here's my JS submission again, with indentation undestroyed:

function find(word, text)
{
let index = 0;
let lastIndex = 0;
let startIndex = 0;
let placeholder = "";

while (startIndex < text.length && placeholder !== word)
{
lastIndex = startIndex + (word.length - 1);

if (word[index] === text[startIndex] && word[word.length - 1] === text[lastIndex])
{
for (startIndex; startIndex <= lastIndex; startIndex++)
{
if (word[index] === text[startIndex])
{
placeholder+= word[index];
index++;
}
else
{
index = 0;
placeholder = "";
startIndex = lastIndex;
}
}
}
else
{
startIndex++;
}
}

return (placeholder === word) ? 1 : 0;
}

To preserve indentation, wrap your code with [ code ] actual code goes here... [/ code ] instead of [ quote ] [/ quote ] (no spaces between the [, "code" and ]).
