Congratulations.......... Invite us for UK warming party.....

Either works regarding the phone, don't buy a UK used phone, cos it might be blocked in the UK......

Buy an Umidigi A3/A3 Pro from jumia + add pay as you go sim. Upgrade the sim package to contract, when you get a job........ cheesy

Goodluck.......
Thanks. I already have a job so I can upgrade immediately right? Another concern is, can I use another Sim when using a contract fone? For example if I decide to visit usa and get a Sim there will it work in the phone? I know these questions are silly o but pls pardon me

Good evening, does anyone here know how to untick the box for premium lounge service in the Tls website? I ticked it without knowing the price and now I discovered that it's way above my budget but for some reason I can't undo it. Please help

I'm greatful to everyone that answered my questions. I still have a few left, do you think I should totally just ignore the Lagos address? I read online that embassy rejects visas based on address issues between couples that is why I'm this scared

This is the format of the application. Is it OK if I submit it this way or change the duration of stay to 2 months then explain further in the last part where they asked for additional information that we also live in Lagos together for the past 2 years?

A point based system is always very clear on what it is looking for . It doesn't look at things outside the requirement .... Nothing here about address . So read this and focus only on things mentioned here

https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/family-members
thanks. I ll go through it right away

You can live wherever you want to... i doubt if there is a point against you living with parents.

Here in Uk you have many married Indians living with their parents and it is cultural for them . I dont know all the current rules but i doubt if anyone will be rejected based on address ......iS this visiting visa?
Thanks. It's tier 2 PBS dependent visa

Madam, the name on the application and documents........ Do they tally?
yes they do. Sorry, it's my first time applying for visa Daz why I'm so naive.

The names on the documents, been the same.......
I'm still using my father's name. So we have different last names on the application but I listed him as my dependant in my own application

Madam, think outside the box..........

The address used is still your family house, husband's and wives can decide to conduct their marriages however it suits them.......

No marriage book insists, husband and wife cannot reside in a family house.

You could have conducted your TB test while visiting friends for a ceremony or during a brief husband and wife blending rendezvous session to another state.....

* Think outside the box*........ The most important issues is, the names are the same.........

Before they ask you questions, provide the answers........

I hope with this few words of mine, your thinking cap is already outside the box............... grin
Thanks for the reply. Which name are you referring to? We just got married last month in court in prescence of family only and have not done any change of name.

Pls my pipo, I need your advice urgently. My agency paid for my visa today after reviewing my application. Some changes were made but the one that is giving me headache right now is the address part. My cos carries my family house address instead of my current Lagos address so my visa application has my family address stating that i have lived there in the last 10 years with my family. I'm about to apply for hubby but im stuck in the address part. My agency said we must use the same address in both application which is understandable but my concerns are
1. how do i explain the fact that my husband and i claim to live together in my family house?
2. They said always be honest during visa applications but how can I do that in this case without raising suspicions?
3. The TB cert was done using the Lagos address, how do we explain this? If we say we live with my family in delta state then how come out tb cert has a different address?
4. Since my application was made and appointment date choose today, is this delay in paying for my hubby going to affect the application process? Can we still have the same appointment date after I pay?
Pls I need all suggestions so as to avoid making a costly mistake. I have from now till 12pm tomorrow to submit and pay for his visa.

Just seeing your message, hope you have been able to resolve this. I really can't remember the full processes but I know there is an option for Tier 2 dependant on visa 4 UK which you can create using your own account. In essence, you create different application under one account. I hope it helps. All the best.

N.B- pls make sure all your documents are complete, cos I know of people denied because of wrong IELTS result (general not UKVI) and getting TB test done outside Nigeria.
thank you. I already sorted it out, we have all our documents ready, hoping to go for appointment on Thursday.

Create his accout using gov.uk. Go to uk site you see where it stated that apply as dependents click on it, and it will open register his name but use your own email. That's how i apply for my hubby and child.
thanks for the reply but I can't find the apply as dependents link cry cry cry

My Visa experience was quite tough because I found out the whole application to be rigorous with repetition of information.

I applied for Tier 2 Main applicant, General partner and General child

Having to fill the form for a family of 3 no be small task, with the repetition of answers and all. Then now came paying for IHS surcharge, what was supposed to be for a yr payment turned to 3yrs for dependant £600 as against £200 for the main applicant.

Hurdle 2 booking appointment for 3 diff individual was tough for the same day ooo. To say I was frustrated was the least.

Then came the payment wahala. My access dorm card (visa) was not accepted I had to call UKVI and trust them to charge money for every call or mail for complaints and enquiries (UK makes too much from us immigrants oo)

Thanks to all that answered my question in d Visa thread.

Lesson learnt:
1. For families fill individual application with the same portal i.e apply for someone else tab
2. Use Gtbank Mastercard attached to your dorm acct
3. Book appt for same day from UK website but register as a group with TLS dt way you are being processed together
4. Fill all information as truthfully as you can and you won't have any problem
5. Pray and make sure there are no mistakes with your documents

The application is really easy once you follow the rules to the letter.

P.S :- NARIC services is good and I did not have to write ilets for UKVI

Nice thread, pls ma how do I apply for a dependent? Im applying for tier 2 general. I finished my application yesterday through gov.UK site but I couldn't find the apply for someone else tab. Even after signing out from my application I can't seem to create another account. It always brings me back to sign into my own application. Pls I need your help urgently as I don't know how to move forward from this stage. I have to apply for my husband ASAP so both application can be reviewed together because of my COS. Should I create his own account through visa4uk even though I used gov.uk for mine? I started it one time last week through gov.uk but had to log out half way and now even when I try to use his email and password to log in it says the log in details are incorrect. I'm so confused, I stayed up late last night trying to figure it out. I will appreciate your help. Thanks
