I have checked the blog, it was helpful. But still what the difference between the Airtel ₦25 for 500mb and ₦200 for 1.5gb

how many time can I do the Airtel ₦25 in one night?

The difference between them is the Price and the megabytes allocation.
Airtel N25 gives you 500mb while N200 gives you 1.5GB. Let say you activate the N25 for 500mb three night then you just spend N75 for 1.5GB (Same 1.5GB that Airtel want to charge N200 for). So choose wisely bro.

Please I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest which network(s) offer the most affordable night plan for browsing. Whether time-based or data-based.

Thanks for your replies.

MTN Night Plan N25 for 500mb
Airtel Night plan N25 for 500mb and N200 for 1.5GB

Is a promo that only works if you buy new phone (or if you can tweak your phone imei) and then insert your MTN sim to the new phone, MTN will then bless you with 100% Double data bouns. That's why am enjoying N500 for 2GB and N1000 for 4GB.

Phones / Update: Senate Did Not Approve NCC To Increase Data Tariff Price by csc2(m): 7:13pm On Dec 14, 2016
Update to what was posted here "Data Recession: Senate gives NCC approval to increase data tariff price", the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Communications, Senator Solomon Adeola have made it clear to us that the Senate committee did not give Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) the approval to increase data tariff price.

This information was published on his personal website.

Below is the photocopy of what was published on his blog.

"Our attention has been drawn to a publication with the misleading title “ Senate Okays Data Price Hike, says NCC Acted in national Interest” in a national daily insinuating that the Senate through its Committee on Communications sanctioned data price increase by telecommunications service providers during an oversight visit to the Nigerian Communication Commission.

There is no iota of truth in the misleading title as the contrary is the case from what the Vice chairman of the Committee Senator Solomon Adeola said in his presentation during the briefing by NCC Executive Vice Chairman, Professor Umaru Dambatta.

Senator Adeola while commending the NCC for its achievements in recent times stated that the action it took in suspending the proposed data hike following public outcry was in the national and peoples’ interest stressing that their prompt responses to Senate inquiries on the matter and other related issues and a promise to undertake further scientific study on the data hike issue was commendable.

As can be seen from the body of the story no where did the senator ‘okays’ the regulatory agency recommended “price floor” which was the issue that gave rise to the proposed data price hike that has since been suspended."

Signed:
Chief Kayode Odunaro
Media Adviser to Senator Solomon Adeola
13th December, 2016.

For now, that's all we know. Just stay tuned for more updates!!
