10 REASONS WHY WE NEED TO SAVE AERO

1. "Aero goes with a record. Not a single commercial flight plane crash since 1959. It was a well-managed airline and contributed tremendously to the commercial aviation history of Nigeria, both in terms of personnel and practices."

May Aero resurrect again. It's a solid brand.

2. Aside scheduled and chartered flights which Aero operates through its Fixed and Rotary wings, Aero is the only Commercial airline in the whole of Nigeria that has an AMO ( Aircraft Maintenance Organization) Licence. This Licence allows Aero to carry out Third Party maintenance activities and checks for other airlines.

This maintenance arm of ACN with capability to maintain other airlines airplanes. We perform checks, NDTs, engine change, build wheels and brakes, paint touch ups, and so on. These majority of these services were done abroad before Aero's licence which means outflow of expensive forex. Aero does it for them at local currency which makes it cheaper... Aero makes at least more than 100million in a year and has capability to make more with additional licences given by NCAA and expansion of facility.

Other Airlines who are beneficiary of these services include AZMAN Air, Air Peace, Med-View Airline, Allied Air, Caverton Helicopter, Overland, Dana Air, Execujet.

With the expansion. Aero can make not less than 200million per c-check. The human capacity is there. For this and other reasons let's ensure the survival of this National monument.

Please Save Aero.

3. Aero has contributed immensely to the economy of the nation from taxes we the employees pay. The airline has provided employment for both Nigerians and foreigners as well, the airline has a good customer service records and a good safety record as well.

PMB we need the orange bird in our skies once again

4. Aero has also contributed to the I.T portal, by kick-starting the first online passenger booking, check-in online and excess luggage check-in to ease passengers stress and bringing the airline (AERO) services into their home. Aero has indeed changed the way airlines do business in Nigeria. And we still have a lot to offer.

#SAVEAERO.

5. Aero is a pace setter she afforded millions of Nigerian the opportunity of air travel with the initiation of ticket in the low cost carrier. The first Nigerian airline to implement low cost model air travel, affording many Nigerians who never thought they could travel by air to do so.

First Nigeria airline to operate Infants travel with their parents to any destination within Nigeria for free.

Airline Passengers all over Nigeria please SaveAero

6. Aero is internationally recognized and certified. IOSA certified, Multiple Award winning airline, Member of IATA with interline agreement with other foreign airlines. Aero is a pride of Nigeria.

Save Aero now.

7. Aero over the years have produced the finest crew due to our commitment to standard and quality, we invest heavily in our crew to render the best quality of service to our customers. 50% of the best crew in Nigeria has directly or indirectly been impacted by Aero either by way of training, internship, employment etc. thereby Aero has contributed significantly to the overall Safety of Nigeria aviation industry.
The first and the only airline to fly all female indigenous crew on board in nigeria to promote gender equality .

We must save this airline now.

8. Aero is like the Pilot airline in Nigeria aviation industry driving safety, security, standards, innovations, competitiveness etc. both to customers and entire industry’s advantage.

Guess what happens when you remove the pilot from a plane that is airborne…

We need to Save Aero.

9. Over 1000 employees are currently in the employment of Aero Contractors, it implies that over 1000 Nigerian families with their dependants are indirectly or directly going to be affected if we do not save Aero.

10. Aero still has

winkmart:
Dear Fellow Nigerians,

I was born in 1959 like Nigeria my beloved country whose Independence was in 1960, I was born as the pride of a nation, the envy of all, the orange that attracted all and sundry but today I find myself in chains.

I was nurtured by locals and foreigners in my mother land, I grew in strength, grace and beauty. I learned to crawl and walk and soon after I started to fly and among the powerful greens in the air, my orange colour soared gracefully.

I endeared myself to many and because of me several families could afford a living.
I was a beauty to behold!

Others came and passed on but I survived against all odds because of those I hold dear: they generated my lift as they were the strong winds beneath my wings...They gave me thrust as they powered my engines.

Will it be right to let down the valiant 1000+ men and women who have dedicated their lives to putting smiles on the face of that little child who needs to get back to mummy, that youth corper and petty trader who worries about safety of the roads and high cost of air transport, that sick adult or child who needs to get some treatment, that pregnant mother who has to deliver some place else, that business man and senator who has to meet an appointment?

I am where I am today because I have been used, abused, rapped, battered, robbed but my WILL to survive is undying.

What will the upcoming generations say of me? A mother that failed her generation and that of her unborn child?

A mother who rose up in the face of adversity to fight for her generation and others yet unborn?

I AM 57 YEARS OLD... DO NOT LET ME DIE! MY FIGHT TO SURVIVE IS A JUST CAUSE!
MY WILL TO SURVIVE IS UNDYING!
COME TO MY RESCUE FOR MY DEPENDANTS ARE A MULTITUDE!

I once was the pride of this great nation, I along with those individuals who work tirelessly to help achieve goals and dreams WILL NOT GIVE UP!

WILL YOU?

I am Aero contractors and I remain the reliable way to fly!

A few good men that's all I see in a multitude.

Shout out to those out there that have faith in us, those that believe in us and those that join our struggle with prayers.
And to those who feel the worst has happened, by all means take a seat and pls take the first row and watch God work.

For the ones who don't watch local tv or have access to any social media content and act deaf or blind to our plight, I pardon you ooo but still have my eyebrows raised lolz
To those that believe in the Aero of yester years, our ex colleagues who are products from this reputable airline, pls say a prayer for us and to my wonderful colleagues in the struggle, I commend you all for keeping up the faith because the battle is not lost and must be won..

God bless the guys at the forefront Lewis Emakpor Ayo-ifeAnyasi Hilda and the other guys out there who are our voices and our strength... We can't thank you enough but your reward is not only in heaven but on earth...
To the aero staff that came out in numbers in solidarity, keep up the faith and remember our destinies are in our hands...
To our temporal competition, the other airlines mocking us and having the perfect laugh.. Quit the negativity, 100 of you can never be an "Aerocontractors", no matter how you try to be like us, you just don't have the stuff we are made of.

Stop rejoicing and put a halt on the negative publicity, and be your brothers keeper.
Our esteemed Nigerian passengers, we love you and appreciate the fact that you have faith in us even though we failed you in the past...Thank you for your understanding, even when we have our disruptions, cancellations etc... You react like the wounded lion and still embrace us with love and there is always a repeat business.

Lastly, to the thieves, fraudsters and bastards in the name of past management that brought about a demise in our operations from the rosy good old days to the gloomy days, thereby making our brand a shadow of itself, the koboko whip is waiting for you and the mouths that we feed are cursing you and your generations.

To everyone who has been a victim of retrenchment or redundancy by happenstance or circumstance , i feel your pain and i really hope things will eventually turn around from a stand still to a major breakthrough...
You really can't imagine how the shoe fits, until you place your foot in it..,
To our president and people of power, do something about this recession hitting our country and save our youths and generations to come from this hardship in Nigeria..

Allow me vent,
I'm an advocate for change for the better and not the worse..,
Don't need no sympathies,
Maureen Steve-igbodo,
Your Forever Aero senior flight attendant
A proud product of Aerocontractors.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dynamic Resources by cspear77(m): 12:45pm On Jul 02, 2016
I am just leaving that God forsaken ondo Street at costain. Ranstard dynamic resources limited is a big fraud. I had an idea that it could be but wanted to confirm it on my own. I think they are working hand in hand with cos I applied for an advert on jiji before I received a text message for a job interview the following day. I was invited earlier weeks ago when I applied on jiji for an aviation job I saw on jiji whose integrity is at stake. PLEASE STOP APPLYING FOR JOB AT JIJI. COM, IT'S ALL SCAM UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE. before you go for an interview pls find out if it's for what you applied for by Calling the company. I actually called but their answer was not clear so desist from these fraudsters and verify every invite before attending.

Only God can judge anybody. The end will definitely justify the means but for now TBJ remains the only man of God who is currently touching lives like never before and so even if he is not a true prophet, he is adding value to peoples' lives. Lets leave him alone.
Family / Re: Disciplining Children by cspear77(m): 3:08pm On Aug 21, 2007
one of the problems we are facing in nigeria now is as a result of copy copy. we are suppose to look at the good aspect of life and copy from the western world and allow the bad aspect to remain with them. there is moral decadence in our society today because we have deviated from the principles our fathers taught us. i was spanked, beaten, and disciplined rightly and that is why i grew up better than children of today. i eill spank, beat, and discipline my child when the need arises and no one can stop it but i will not abuse it. i believe that if every one in the world should follow my footstep the world will be a better place.
