Jide Obanikoro is a politician in his own right quite independent of his father. While his father was still in Ghana as ambassador, he contested and won the local government elections right in tinubus neighborhood. It was only on a minor court process technicality that the court annulled his victory. The young man is an independent well accomplished politician in his own right.

Koro has never been indicted for corruption or looting of funds. And he did not burn city hall, that is just APC propaganda. If he burnt city hall, why did same people make him a commissioner in the state thereafter? And why did they send him to the senate after that. Try another one mate. Like I said, the people of Lagos that support him have as much stake in the state as anyone else. And if at the end of the day, more people want him as governor than not, then who is anyone to say otherwise.

This OP is jealous. Senator Nnaji is my senator and I can tell you he is a very nice man. Very kind and approachable and always willing to help a constituent. Infact am rooting for him to return to the senate if possible. Secondly the humble senator was born rich. His father was Igwe Edward Nnaji of Nike, the longest serving Igbo monarch when he died. Igwe Nnaji was a first class king and one of the highest ranking kings in Igboland, on the same level as the Obi of Onitsha. So, that his son, a five star first class prince built a house is no news. Christ, senator Nnaji was born and raised in a palace. So jealous people should try harder, cos u can't pull this noble prince down.

Obanikoro is indeed the best option for Lagos State after 16years of the elitist APC government which has left most areas in Lagos criminally underdeveloped. In 2014, you have schools in Lagos still using pit toilets, ,with students sitting on the floor under inhuman learning conditions. Obanikoro has a love for the less priviledeged and that's what APC are afraid of.
