Politics / Re: "Resign Now!", Pastor Bakare Tells Yar’adua! by culkollie: 7:32pm On Sep 12, 2008
it is so funny that some persons could still predict who the naija messiah is or not even in the thick of very fraudulent elections. what an irony, people dish out whatever from wherever because some persons somewhere can gulp just anything hook, line and sinker! grin angry shocked embarassed "even the scripture says search rigorously and hold on to the truth", let's stop being gullible

tamarakede- u must be having packs of fun! hear even yourself, is it that the pastor has become so impatient to await the manifestation of his own prophesy of '93 that he has embarked on prophesies and counter-prophesies? you really need to spare us laughter! nigerians do not need their kind of prophesies to know who the messaih is or not!

i also think u need to be careful not to misinterprete pst adeboye. as much as i am not privy to the pastor's message to americans, i should think a nigerian is a world apart from a kenyan, where obama could trace his origin! mind u obama is yet to rule the white house, so why being too forward than the pastor himself?

your belief is still a clear case of over-obsession of religious leaders and possibly over dedution messages that has been central to the topic of discussion!

citizenY, i agree with your point here! many nigerians will not want admit their obsession about their religions leaders. but the fact is that many of us are as faithful with so much reverence for God's words and His annointed men!

but it becomes very worrisome when some of these leaders work on our psyche to say all sorts of things in the name of the altar. some guys are just putting all sort of poor defences on this topic. as such as we are no God ourselves and we acknowledge that God can change His decisions, it is still baffling that God would annoint yar'dua, inspite of his ill-health -God being God- barely a year ago and now come back so soon to use the same condition to reject him.

thank God, i can still remain "a doubting thomas" without risking any offence cheesy we need some "people" to give better evidence or reasons for this rejection.

the point is as much as we don't want to personalize issues, we can only turn to obj (now keeping cool at otta) for the number of acerbic, villifying but unfulfilled prophesies about and/or against his 8-year tenure.

for us lay-people to be more careful with our reactions, we sincerely need our religious leaders to be more patient at listening to God and more cautious of their utterances on the altar!

Foreign Affairs / Re: Why Do Most Nigerians Want Obama To Win? by culkollie: 10:36am On Sep 12, 2008
some nigerians tend to amuse me by their over-involvement in the forth coming US election including party campaigns. fine, nigeria isn't an island and the world itself is now globally connected!

however, the facts remain that americans are indeed debating two issues that will eventually determine where cometh the next landlord of the whitehouse. though sentiment could play a little role in this. the issues are US security and US economy! their key candidates are visibly seen in these lights. the salient truth is that i really find it difficult to see where nigeria stands to profit directly or otherwise from these sole american issues, other than we have been struggling to grin.

improving their economy- increased productivity could mean having more junks to "dump" in other countries especially nigeria. thereby killing the more our comatose businesses other than buying and selling! a lot more in this regard- braindrain and neo-slavery etc!

consolidating their security either- makes US more domineering especially on 3rd world countries -  "luckily" embarassedthat's seems nigeria's class. really an ample opportunity for always force down bitter pills on our throats.

kisspersonally, i always enjoy US brand of politics and electioneering centered more on pressing issues but i dont get carried away by who eventually emerges. i just wonder if our over enthusiatic nigerians are really learning fast in this direction. if yes, it could only help us to apply some of these US pragmatism to consolidate on our stronghold in africa. our military mights in africa though well respected, seem efforts in total waste. reasons being we have neither goods nor services to package alongside our gallantry military to profit economically. i have seen no other nation in the world as philantropic and charitable! frankly speaking we are just spendthrift cry

IF NO, ALAS, WE ARE ONLY AMUSING OURSELVES ENJOYING A BRAND OF "UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE", PURELY MUCH TO TALK ABOUT BUT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO GAIN FROM!

Politics / Re: Baba Gana Kingibe {act To The President} Should He Go Free ? by culkollie: 4:51pm On Sep 11, 2008
really a lot many people were surprise at kingibe's choice in the first instance. well safe for the mere fact that yar'dua wanted a change from obj. he gave himself a false rebirth, and has since be dancing with flagrant inconstitencies on the altar of more evil men than he perceives the otta farmer. i must contend yar'dua is absolutely fooling himself.

i have lost count of his "leaping before looking", what an absurd. i always feeling disappointed considering how i was so enthusiatist of candidature then. now he seems clueless. he's just "stationarily dynamic", moving back and forth and no progress.

ordinarily he isnt expected to make too many mistakes like his doing though. fact remains, no matter how sentimental nigerians may want to be, that obj's "I SEE HOPE" remains potent and workable solution to our multifacets wahalas. our rhetorics and propanda would not lead anyway. obj was pragmatic enough for yar'dua to learn from. unfortunately he wants to be seen as that nice guy, but he's only joining bandwagon of easyways alternative proponents. he's since not brought anything new, even his vision is so vague to himself talkless nigerians grin

now he has finally agreed to the choice of yayale ahmed. as much as i wouldnt want to run the controversy of call yayale an obj boy, but obj rightly advised umaru on his choice long ago. he's now back to the option but wasting our valuable time for too long.

im very surprise yar'dua is still struggling with "internal politics" when his "governance level" ought to cruising at a high speed.

WISE COUNSELS FROM THE RIGHT SOURCE HE'S REFUSING, HE WANTS TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES OBJ MAKE IN 8YRS. THEN FOOLISHLY OUR DEMOCRACY WILL REMAIN NASCENT EVEN AT 12 YRS.

personally, i felt yar'dua was the best choice when obj chose him, considering the prevalent politics then. however, even with his so called & over hyped re-birth from his godfather, he has been very disappointing. he needs to prove he is actually in-charge, else he founders with the ship of the nation.

but a point to raise! we ought to very careful not to compare our personal opinions with the authorities of whatever divinity or diety. i may be at liberty to change my opinion at anytime depending on my insight period! but some people should stop imposing their own opinion on us by mere weeping up public sentiment of various prophesies!

it's very baffling to see or hear God change His opinions so easily - barely a year he has withdrawn his anointing from yar'dua because of an ailment he's been suffering since 2000.

:ocould it be that just because someone (u know him) lipsrsealed didnt know yardua state of health when he was campaigning, God went to anoint him wrongly? sad

i'm really wondering why so soon on top sickness wey God sabi weewell.

some people should just not plunder us into sins by not being careful with what they say with some scared authorities! [color=#990000]

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by culkollie: 8:35am On Aug 05, 2008
hey madridsta, never mind them! just that our records are too intimidating for the to swallow their pride n pay the necessary homage.

CL records, the greatest fc in the last century ( :Pface FIFA n leave u alone) and even this century, galaticos are still pacesetter. how better would it have come, trailblazer! lauching the century (CL 2000) n consolidating it later (CL2002). still the highest in 8 seasons jointly paired by AC Milan.

up galaticos never mind d backbenchers! unfortunately for them, we have nobody to envy but luckily for RealMadrid we got just God to look towards!

forza real!
