it wasn't a gang/cult fight. It was an argument between two students and the conductor n driver over fare. It happened in front of my lodge so I can tell u authoritatively that it wasn't a gang/cult fight.

It was a memorable day for tenants of J and j lodge in abia state university as military men came on full assault. What attracted them was the argument between the tenant, his friend and the lodge manager. When they arrived, they shot twice into the air and students scampered for safety.

They issued an instruction that nobody should be outside after sometime issued another instruction that students should come downstairs. Everybody filed out and was outside sitting on the floor. The tenant, his friend and the conductor was flogged mercilessly in the presence of everybody.

Later the guys were separated and checked for blending marks. It was really epic.

Sorry for the late replies, I was trying to get hold of the documents but was told that ours is still on the way. It's only my uncle who applied for us has gotten his own copy so it's kinda sketchy.
The document I saw was the first they sent to us back in 2009. It's stating immigration visa on it. So, is there any difference between immigration visa and citizenship ish?

What of resident permit and visa. Am trying to explore all avenues to avoid mistakes.

My family have been granted citizenship in the U.S, we will be going for interview in three months time. What kind of questions are we to expect? Your help is urgently needed.

Am curious I know when browsing through youtube.com & vimeo.com for free videos online we barely see tips shared by Nigerians. I only know about 3studio channels in Nigeria that do such professionally. Namely the following: (1) Chronos Studeos (2) Ways Studios (3) Edu Shola. They share a mix of architecture,video editing effects & 3d graphics more for intermediate or advanced users. Presently there is none dedicated to teaching basic stuff in AutoCAD,Revit,3dsmax,Photoshop,SketchUp Pro,ArchiCAD & 2d/3d general skills from the scratch.
Now to you all on this thread my questions are below:
a) Would having a youtube/vimeo channel showing basic tips by more Nigerians instead of a white guy/girl boost confidence amongst our budding creatives here?!!

b) Are majority of Nigerian artists intimidated by their accents that's why they barely watch such videos to boost their skills or can't hear them at all?!!

about your first question; it will be a welcomed development if there is a channel for basic CAD tutoring as a Nigerian as it helps boost confidence among the new intakes in the field of CAD knowing fully that it's from a Nigerian

Am an architecture student who just finished doing her I.T. Things I learnt from my experience are:

-If you know that you know more than everyone present in the firm, try and politely share your knowledge with everyone.

-Do not let anybody use your knowledge, politeness or your wits to enslave you.

-Be jovial and respectful to everyone in the firm especially the department you are in.

-Any thing you do not know, do not hesitate to ask questions.

-Develop yourself with the experiences of others in the firm.
