I’m about to get an iPhone 7 from a guy, he said the phone does not go past the activation lock. I have checked the imei he sent me, find my iPhone is off and blacklist is clean. What could be wrong?

I need to see what the is on the screen or the error msg it displays before I can give a solution. But my humble advice is don’t buy it yet till u are sure of the iCloud status

Changed my screen about six months ago. The home button just recently stopped working. If the flex was tampered with, would it not have stopped working much sooner? Will changing the flex fix the issue? Have performed hard reboot, it still didn’t work.

then there is a probability that the home button/flex coneftor was not clipped well and it pulled off. So u need to open the home and check the flex connector

was the phone worked on before the both stopped working(screen)? The home button and the fingerprint function with just one flex cable. The fingerprint stopped working if the flex is tampered with so check to make sure it wasn’t tampered with. U can try hard reboot if the phone wasn’t worked on before opening it.

refurbished iphone Is just a phone that was faulty, is not new but has been evaluated by Apple and any repairs that are necessary are performed to the unit and it is deemed 'like new'. The unit is completely returned to a factory fresh state. Is it good to buy refurbished phone the answer is yes if you are buying directly from Apple or authorized dealers, that way u can get a guarantee if anything goes wrong. But yes it’s a good buy but it’s always cheaper

bro I don’t deal with unlock but my simple advice is avoid iCloud locked iPhones. There is no guarantee that it can be unlocked

My iPhone 6 plus is overheating, when I discovered, I turn the power off and the heating did not stop. I left it for about 30min to cool down, when it cool down I discovered that the battery is Drained. When I connected the charger, it took a while before it could come up and the overheating started again. I tried to reset all settings but the problem persists.

did the phone fall of recent? Many things might cause overheating, bad battery, software or app glitch and bad microchips. Battery and software can be fixed by changing battery and updating to the latest iOS or erasing the phone entirely. If this 3 didn’t fix it then that leaves us with bad chip in the phone. Good side is it’s fixable. Just take it to a good iphone engineer he will fix it. It involves micro soldering.

Hello ..Please a friend has a problem with his Iphone 6s ...If he plugs in his charger,the phone reboots even when he is not charging (inserting of the cord into the charging port reboots the phone) and only one side of the usb lighting works..What could be the cause?
Note..the charging port has been replaced and battery but the problem persists..

well the best way to find out if the problem is from panel or just the hardware is to take it to an engineer ask them if they have an iCloud locked 6plus like urs if they do, tell the engineer to transfer ur panel to the iCloud locked one and send hen u check if the problem will persist. If it does then the problem will be from panel if it doesn’t they it might be from ur charger or usb cord or some components in ur phone. So check

u can just do the restor if it locks then use chip and unlock it back. It’s very simple and chip is 2k

there are two types. Complete and half. Complete comes with with some screws and flex like charging port etc. while half is just only the case which means u have to lose everything from ur old case and fit it in the new one u bought. Complete is about 6/8k half is about 4/5k depending on ur location

about the hotspot go to the network WiFi setting and select get ip automatically and then save. As for the fingerprint it’s either the screen has bn changed before and on the process the fingerprint flex was tampered with or the original home button changed.

I have to agree with this and again most of this dealhunters are really spoiling deals for people in offerup.
