Having Jack was all that matters. She maybe suffering but knowing that Jack is with her all the way turns the sufferings to smiles. Her inmates envied her so much. 10years later Annie was freed. For the first time in 15years she could breathe the air outside the prison walls. Her victory has come. But Jack wasn't there to share it with her. Jack was in her mind. She has to find him. She went back to where they use to live. The house was torn apart. It look like it was abandoned for so many years. She looked around and found familiar faces. She made effort to find out what happened to Jack. Jack left long ago. No one has seen or heard from him. A strong pang of pain struck her. But she was determined to find Jack all the same. She went back to town and ran into an old friend who gave her shelter. On one of their visit to a town Annie has not been to. She ran into another old friend who told her that Jack lived there. He provided her with Jack's address. She was so excited. Finally she would find her love. She went in search of Jack immediately with the address. She was new in the area. So locating where Jack lived with the address was difficult. She finally found a mansion which matched the address. Darkness as thick as soot has already enveloped the earth before she found it. The beauty of the mansion was awe-inspiring. She didn't believe Jack own it. Anyway she'll find out. She got to the door and knocked. A little boy beautifully dressed opened the door for her. He was so enthusiastic and asked her if she came for his birthday party and quickly welcomed her in even before Annie could reply him. She stepped in and saw Jack with a little girl and a woman. She walked slowly towards Jack with tears falling from her eyes. "Jack" she whispered his name to her hearing alone. Her legs were shaking. She had to stop. The little boy who opened the door for her ran passed her and said to Jack "mum! Dad! We’ve a visitor. She's here for my birthday party" Jack looked up with a smile to see the visitor. His smile faded when he saw Annie. "Annie" he trembled. She turned around and ran away. "Annie wait!" Jack called out. He ran into his study and ran out. He dashed out of his house and chased Annie. His wife and kids stood speechless. They don't understand what was going on. Jack called out for Annie. She was right in front of him. Annie didn't stop. She was crying out loudly. A heavy thunder struck. The rains took charge of the area. Jack remembered the night Annie left home to be with him. He remembered how she ran to him with her charms to cover him with her umbrella. He remembered everything. A guilty feeling choked his mind. He ran faster than Annie and grabbed her. Dry flowers and letters fell from her. Those are the letters and roses Jack gave her for five years only. She has hold on to them. Her eyes were red. She looks weak and thing. She has suffered. "Live me Jack! Don't touch me" she cried and struggled. She bit his hand and Jack freed her. "Please Annie. I know how bitter you feel right now. I can explain. Everything will be alright. I'll make it up to you. Come with me please" he said. "Oh you can explain. I heard that one. Okay explain. Go on, explain it to me. You abandoned me in a horrifying prison yard when I needed you the most. I sacrifice my 15years for you. I swore to be there for you Jack. I did. You were all I had. I had no one to lean on. You were the only family I had. The only reason I lived for. I was suffering for you. I gave you my love, my soul and my life. Look at how you handled it. What have I done to deserve all these? Now you want to further hurt me with your flimsy explanations. Go on, explain it to the cold wind. Please I just want to return to prison and wait for my love to come get me before I die. He's the reason I stayed alive" she turned to live. A heavy thunder struck the moment Jack pulled out his gun and aimed it at Annie. "not so quick Annie! You can't go back. You'd turn me in. I can't go to prison. Not now when I've a family who look up to me" he said to Annie. Annie stood like a statue watching Jack. This man certainly is not Jack she thought. He appeared to be unfamiliar. Bitterly, she looked up to the raining sky and ask with the most sorrowful voice ever. "Where’s the man that would do anything to see me smile? Does he realize my weary heart is braking? Does he see my smiles are contaminated with tears? The smiles he would never see frown. Where's my love, the light that shines bright? Can't he see I'm drowning? How long will it take him to come rescue me? Am I still the only one who's the only for him? Where's my soul mate? Where's my Jack? Jack would never hurt nor forsake me" she broke down to her kneels and cried the most miserable tears ever. The gun in Jack's hand felt guilty and grumbled in the hands of Jack. It threatens to fall from Jack's hold. Perhaps she was given a wrong address, Annie thought. Definitely, this man is not Jack. She looked at her 15years of mistake and heaved a tear. Her nostrils were dripping at her 15years of foolishness and blindness for someone who meant everything to her. Tears dropped from her eyes in quick succession. Even the rain couldn't hide her tears. After her painful sacrifice for Jack, his gun woke her up from her deep slumber. At that instant, it flashed her; she has loved a total stranger. A stranger who has taken 15years years of her life. Gravity pulled her to the ground. Jack's letter and roseswere crushed beneath her. The ground received her weight. She felt light. The earth was floating in her head. Her mind was clouded. The rain fell on her. It was dark. The lightning drew lines of pain in the skies. They obviously felt Annie's agonies. Even the thunder had to roar at Jack. Jack trembles each time the thunder struck. A cold gust of wind revolved and roamed the area. Turning Annie tears to cold ice. Annie has wasted 15years for an ungrateful heart. 15years for Jack, night and day. 15years of winter, summer, and spring. 15years of misery, torture, hunger and pain. And now he's aiming his gun at her. As she wept the tears of a broken heart, a forsaken soul left to rot in hell, she began to sing loudly. Her sorrowful song opened the eyes of people living around. Their sleep was stolen by her sad song. They peer through the window to see her sing... ¤ as the light flashes before my eyes ¤ I’m wandering what lies ¤ in the corner of the sun rays ¤ so many will not get the chance to say goodbye (I got mine, he's pointing a gun at me) ¤ but it's too late to think of the value of my love ¤ you can see my heart beating ¤ you can see it through my chest ¤ that I’m terrified ¤ but I’m not leaving ¤ know that I must pass this test ¤ so just pull the trigger ¤~RUSSIAN RHOULLETTE Rihana |sometimes it last in love and sometimes it hurts instead|~SOMEONE LIKE YOU Adelle #My name is Annie. You just read my story. I'm sorry it was a long one. Are you crying? Please don't weep anymore. I've cried enough already. I cried yours as well# Finally, Jack was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. Thank God to the people who woke up and saw Jack holding a gun while Annie was singing. Half of his wealth was given to Annie. She was given the award of the most truthful love. And guess what? She found her biological mother. So life continued. It was her 15years for Jack that made her so popular. It enabled her mother to find her. I guess the 15years for her mother. Not JACK the JERK. It's not over until the fat lady sings. THE END |
. He promised to be there for her until it's over. Jack walked home sluggishly. Dejected, ruined and destroyed. His heavy shoulder dropped. "I'm not Jack. I'm a JERK I'm a big JERK! A wicked heartless JEEEERK! A coward! I've abandoned my own Annie. My only victory in life when every road is blocked. Annie has never abandoned me. What was I thinking? Oh Annieeee I'm so sorry my love. I hate you Jack. I started hating you the day you refused to slow down as Annie suggested. I only wanted to provide a better life for her. I didn't mean to put her through all these" he said. As he was walking along the street. Clustered with people going about plying their trade. Nobody noticed he was there or even crying. They didn't care. They'd their own issues to tackle. A shop that sells cds was playing a song by Elton John-sacrifice. That moment he realized the great price Annie has paid for him. It began to rain. Jack sat under the rain listening to the song. 'two hearts living in two separate world' He cried to this line terribly like a woman who has lost his child. Like an antelope who lost it young ones to a lion. He should've stood his ground and take up the responsibility for his actions. Annie sacrificed 15years of her life for Jack. She said she'll be there for him. She did. Jack kept his promise. He visited Annie consistently with rose flowers and love letters. All these strengthened her. The love from outside gave her the courage she need to survive inside. She didn't feel she was alone. For her life was still normal. Nothing changed. Having Jack was all that matters. She maybe suffering but knowing that Jack is with her all the way turn the sufferings to smiles. Her inmates envied her so much. Five years later. Jack suddenly stopped coming. The roses and letters stopped too. Annie was scared for him. So many thought run through her mind. She hoped Jack didn't return to drug peddling or suddenly forgot her. Jack didn't abandon her she would say. He will never. Surely, something is wrong. If only she could find him. All effort to reach Jack proved elusive. The cell walls became a torment. Her days were filled with agony. She battled with her sanity all through. In her dreams, she'll find Jack dead. She would wake up into a fear-stricken state and cry. She didn't feel she was alone. For her life was still normal. Nothing changed. |
IFECIOUS67:Don't be in a haste Sweet, will upload some part soon. |
Annie insisted so much they had no choice than to give Jack a breather. They faced her but she had no names to provide. Their investigation went belly up. They lost their lead. Putting Annie under duress to get the names they want will be pointless. She knows nothing about it. But all those times Jack was begging her, Jack was begging her to let him suffer for his crime but she refused. "Please my love you don't deserve this. I brought this upon me. Let me carry it. I can't beat the rap for you to suffer for me" Jack pleaded with her. "It’s better I spend 15years in prison and later be with you Jack. Than live the rest of my life alone without you. I'd die. Can't you see it's a better course for us?" She also pleaded with Jack. "Annie you don't have to do this. You can't claim being the culprit of a crime you know nothing about. I won't let you. I can't manage the guilt for a second let alone 15years. I'll lose my sanity. I'm telling the cops the truth right away" Jack said this time with a mean look. He stood up to go. Annie grabbed his feet and cried "Jack no, please. You did this for me, for us. To provide a good life for me. You've put your freedom and life on the line for me. If I didn't exist, you wouldn't have. I share part of the responsibility for this crime. Please Jack, I beg you. Let me suffer it for 15years and smile in your arms later. I can't live to know that I'll never hold you again in my life time. Please Jack" she cried like a child who couldn't find her mother. Jack gave in unwillingly. He knew Annie would never give up. She forced Jack to promise her never to involve himself in drug peddling again. They were arraigned in court. Annie insisted so much that she's the culprit and not Jack. Their prosecutor refused to accept her confession. Even the judge notice she's only trying to bear the burden alone for her lover. If they try to neglect her and face Jack a little. She would jump in and claim responsibility of everything. Annie was convicted and sentenced to 15years in prison. Jack was acquitted. He promised to visit Annie every week with rose flowers |
Annie was devasted. Anxiety took a better part of her. It tore through her mind. She has no idea of what was going on. She left the store and head back home. She took some food and a new dress for Jack and joined the train going to where Jack was held in custody. On arrival, she asked for Jack. The policemen refused to let her see Jack. She tried all she could. Still she couldn't see Jack or find out what his offence was. They took the food from her and gave it to Jack. She went outside the station and sat under a tree. The weather was hurting. The sun was burning hot. She thought of Jack the whole time. If only she could at least see him and hug him. He must be going through a lot she thought. Maybe he's been battered. Little tears sprang from her eyes. A police officer saw her and decided to comfort her. After much pressure from Annie, he told her Jack's offence. Jack sealed a huge drug deal with a notorious drug peddler. Jack is the only lead to hunt down the main supplier. Annie was shocked. She couldn't take it. It's unbelievable that Jack could do such a thing. She tried to plead on his behalf. But it was a waste of time. She left the station and return home. He searched the house where he lived with Jack. She found some white items well packaged. She confirmed they were drugs. She was still holding it when the policemen barged in with Jack. They came to search the house. They found Annie with drugs in her hand. They seized her and return back to the station. Annie cried so hard. She looked at Jack and couldn't utter a word. Jack felt miserable. He hated himself for bringing this upon Annie. If he had known he'd have slow down like Annie suggested. It's too late now. He has hurt his blessing from God. They knew what the law would do to them. Life has written a new destiny for them. This time, they would face immense horrifying days ahead. Drug peddlers are sentence to life imprisonment if there are enough evidence to proved them guilty. If not, it would be 15years in prison. it could be a setup. Jack was been battered fiercely. It was an eye sore for Annie. They want to force him to confess the names of the people he sealed the drugs deals with. They smack him so hard. He was left with bruises. He was bleeding terribly. Annie couldn't endure the sight. She stood up at the spur of the moment and said "I'm the one. Not him pleased. I sealed the deals. You found the substance in my hand. Let him be and hit me instead" she cried. "No Annie" Jack manage to utter a word. He has been beaten black and blue. His eyes and mouth are swollen. He could barely see. He feels so much pain. The policemen refused to accept Annie's confessions. They believed Jack was the culprit. They want to extract the names of his counterparts from him. So they'd hunt down the rest. Annie insisted so much they had no choice than to give Jack a breather. They smack him so hard. He was left with bruises. He was bleeding terribly. |
This is probably one of the coldest love story I've ever come across. Its full of love, trust, sacrifices and failure of Jack to keep to the promises he made to Annie, a woman who sacrificed 15years jusy to be with him. Sit tight and read, and please do keep a towel or hankerchief close cos you sure will need it. This is my newest captivating love story. It is filled with romance, emotions, intrigue, suspense and more. keep a towel close, you'll need it. BY REX JOHNSON 15YEARS "Love is just a four letter word. It's not enough to fully spell how much I love you Jack" Annie said. She's in bed with him. Their legstr and arms are entwined. Jack kissed her nose. Drew a sensual circular line on her chest with his finger and said with a passionate eye contact "my heart beat. I can spell mine. Is just that forever will not be enough to spell it all. And I don't want to try because I don't want to miss any second to love the only one who is the only one for me" Annie felt like Queen of England. "ooh Jack" She engulfed herself into Jack who absorbed her softness and kissed her chest. "I want to remain like this in your sweet embraces forever Annie. I want to die right here with you, in your eyes" Jack said to her and silent her with a deep kiss. He looked at her. Annie forgot what she wanted to say. Her senses were stolen by that kiss. It was perfect. Annie love Jack more than herself. She thinks of Jack welfare before hers. If you need her find Jack and you'll see her. Her parents lost her at a tender age. She has been transferring from one foster home to another after been molested at each. Life gave her a new smile when she met Jack. Jack rescued her and gave her something she never believed she could have. A pure love as white as snow. Jack kissed her tears dry. All those years of suffering in different foster homes was replaced by the happiness she found with Jack. Every thing was wrong in her world. Something finally went right-JACK. A new beginning was written for her. There was another reason to be alive. Jack's affection gave her the reason. Her darkness was pushed away by light. Jack was that light. And Annie swore to be there for him come what may. She swore to protect Jack's footprints, every stride of his hair. She cared and nurtured him like a mother breast feeding her new born baby. Jack called himself blessed. He was indeed blessed with Annie. They had little means of survival. Jack work beyond his ability to end a little more for Annie. He loved her like no one could possibly love anyone. He brings Annie a rose everyday when he returns home. He has never missed a day. He ensured she wore a smile always. He made Annie happy beyond her expectation. He's fighting hard to provide for Annie. Jack got obsess with his quest to provide a wealthy life for Annie. Annie never wanted all that. Having Jack to love was all that satisfies her needs. She has tried to slow him down. Just as always he'd refuse. On a particular day, Jack missed the last train in town heading to where he lived with Annie. They lived in a quite remote area. He couldn't lodge in a hotel. He would rather keep the money for Annie. He found a broken store to spend the night. He went in without wasting a second. He called Annie and explains the situation to her and where he is. He asked her not to wait for him. She should hit the hay. The heaven opened two hours later. It rained like the sky has been waiting for an opportunity to beat up Jack. The cold was intense. The lightning was tearing the sky into shreds. The thunder was angry and it belched and burped heavily like it ate too much. He was thinking of Annie the whole time. Wishing she could be there with him. The cold was biting him. He didn't prepare for this situation he is in. He was shivering like a young chick being beaten by the rain. "Jaack! Jaaaaack! Where are you?" a quivering voice called out for him. The voice sounded so familiar. He jumped up and listen desperately again. "Jaaaaaaack! Jaaaaack!" the voice rang again. "Annie? Here? it can't be" he whispered to himself. The voice kept screaming his name. He decided to peer through the broken window. His jaw dropped heavily on the window frame. He almost broke a tooth. He couldn't believe his eye. "my God! Annie" he dashed out of the store and ran into the heavy downpour to meet her. "It was indeed Annie in the flesh. Sweet heavens" Jack said deliciously as his legs felt the astonishing shock of seeing Annie at the most unanticipated place and hour. His legs failed him. He stopped few steps away from her and stair at her in utter amazement. He couldn't believe his eyes. Annie walked quickly towards him with her charms to cover him with her umbrella. She came with food, wine, lamp and a thick blanket. Jack didn't notice all that. He swallowed her lips and kissed her like he want to suck her into him. Annie managed to hold on to the umbrella as the cold wind was eager to take it from her. They kissed like lost lovers who just found each other. A familiar heat and desire began to run through their blood. They kissed and kissed under the heavy down pour. The sky got jealous at the passionate scene and the way they were kissing with so much rush and struck a heavy thunder to interrupt them. It succeeded and sent them running for the store. Annie said she will be there for Jack no matter how long the distance is. No matter how dark the sky is. Through the spiked tunnel, across the ocean. No matter what happens, she'll find him and be with him. And that night was perfect. It blossom. The lamp gave the broken store a romantic touch. Two in love. Bonded strongly. Harder than diamond. The inseparable two love doves ate and drank. Oh Annieeeee Jack would whisper. They sneaked into their thick blanket like teenagers anxious to explore the sensitive parts of their body. Annie had other supplies she brought for Jack too. Her nubile nudity. "oh Annieeeeee, you're life itself. Without you I'll be a slave to boredom. God has blessed me with you. What will I ever do without you? How can I even repay you?" he asked Annie. "kiss me. Don't make me ask again" She answered him. It's not what Jack lingered to hear. But it was the perfect answer at that moment. They made love over and over again right there. They chased the cold away. It couldn't compete with the heat their body forged. If there's anything sweeter than honey carved by the heavens it's Annie. Jack would say. The morning was chilly. It smells fresh and sweet. The rain did a good job on the land. It washed away the dirt and freshens up the air. Jack and Annie hid under the blanket and enjoyed more romantic moments like newly deflowered kids. They slipped out of the blanket when they heard a voice that sounded like it need their attention. It was the men in the uniform. Jack made a quick effort to escape. But he was surrounded already. "Jack what's going on? What do they want from you" Annie asked Jack. She is at the point of crying. She struggled with the policemen. But then they overpowered her. Jack grabbed Annie by the shoulder "hey look at me Annie. Calm down. It's alright. Go home and wait for me please" he tried to comfort her. "but tell me, what do they want with you? And where are they taking you too?" before he could say a word to Annie the policemen seized Jack and took him away. They left Annie crying in the broken store. |
baby124:Your analysis of this story lacks basis. Your judgement of the case is typical of the way a Nigerian police detective would judge a case. Though his story has lots of loop holes, I don't believe a suspect in his right mental state would arrange with a crime reporter to cover up his mess with lies and at this point I wouldn't wanna say he is guilty or innocent. When someone is murdered, everyone around her becomes a suspect. As one of the Nlanders rightly said, when crimes happens in Nigeria the weakest anf poorest link becomes the prime suspect. Dear Babe124 stop being biased in your thoughts. Do have a nice week ahead. CHEERS!!! |

27 year old Reyhaney Jabbari was executed on Saturday October 25th by hanging in Iran seven years after she killed a man that she claimed had attempted to r*pe her. Before she was killed, Reyhaney wrote a very emotional letter to her mother, asking that her organs be donated to those who need them. See the full text of the letter below; The full text of the letter was translated by the National Council of Resistance of Iran: Dear Sholeh, today I learned that it is now my turn to face Qisas (the Iranian regime’s law of retribution). I am hurt as to why you did not let me know yourself that I have reached the last page of the book of my life. Don’t you think that I should know? You know how ashamed I am that you are sad. Why did you not take the chance for me to kiss your hand and that of dad? The world allowed me to live for 19 years. That ominous night it was I that should have been killed. My body would have been thrown in some corner of the city, and after a few days, the police would have taken you to the coroner’s office to identify my body and there you would also learn that I had been raped as well. The murderer would have never been found since we don’t have their wealth and their power. Then you would have continued your life suffering and ashamed, and a few years later you would have died of this suffering and that would have been that. However, with that cursed blow the story changed. My body was not thrown aside, but into the grave of Evin Prison and its solitary wards, and now the grave-like prison of Shahr-e Ray. But give in to the fate and don’t complain. You know better that death is not the end of life. You taught me that one comes to this world to gain an experience and learn a lesson and with each birth a responsibility is put on one’s shoulder. I learned that sometimes one has to fight. I do remember when you told me that the carriage man protested the man who was flogging me, but the flogger hit the lash on his head and face that ultimately led to his death. You told me that for creating a value one should persevere even if one dies. You taught us that as we go to school one should be a lady in face of the quarrels and complaints. Do you remember how much you underlined the way we behave? Your experience was incorrect. When this incident happened, my teachings did not help me. Being presented in court made me appear as a cold-blooded murderer and a ruthless criminal. I shed no tears. I did not beg. I did not cry my head off since I trusted the law. But I was charged with being indifferent in face of a crime. You see, I didn’t even kill the mosquitoes and I threw away the cockroaches by taking them by their antennas. Now I have become a premeditated murderer. My treatment of the animals was interpreted as being inclined to be a boy and the judge didn’t even trouble himself to look at the fact that at the time of the incident I had long and polished nails. How optimistic was he who expected justice from the judges! He never questioned the fact that my hands are not coarse like those of a sportswoman, especially a boxer. And this country that you planted its love in me never wanted me and no one supported me when under the blows of the interrogator I was crying out and I was hearing the most vulgar terms. When I shed the last sign of beauty from myself by shaving my hair I was rewarded: 11 days in solitary. Dear Sholeh, don’t cry for what you are hearing. On the first day that in the police office an old unmarried agent hurt me for my nails I understood that beauty is not looked for in this era. The beauty of looks, beauty of thoughts and wishes, a beautiful handwriting, beauty of the eyes and vision, and even beauty of a nice voice. My dear mother, my ideology has changed and you are not responsible for it. My words are unending and I gave it all to someone so that when I am executed without your presence and knowledge, it would be given to you. I left you much handwritten material as my heritage. However, before my death I want something from you, that you have to provide for me with all your might and in any way that you can. In fact this is the only thing I want from this world, this country and you. I know you need time for this. Therefore, I am telling you part of my will sooner. Please don’t cry and listen. I want you to go to the court and tell them my request. I cannot write such a letter from inside the prison that would be approved by the head of prison; so once again you have to suffer because of me. It is the only thing that if even you beg for it I would not become upset although I have told you many times not to beg to save me from being executed. My kind mother, dear Sholeh, the one more dear to me than my life, I don’t want to rot under the soil. I don’t want my eye or my young heart to turn into dust. Beg so that it is arranged that as soon as I am hanged my heart, kidney, eye, bones and anything that can be transplanted be taken away from my body and given to someone who needs them as a gift. I don’t want the recipient know my name, buy me a bouquet, or even pray for me. I am telling you from the bottom of my heart that I don’t want to have a grave for you to come and mourn there and suffer. I don’t want you to wear black clothing for me. Do your best to forget my difficult days. Give me to the wind to take away. The world did not love us. It did not want my fate. And now I am giving in to it and embrace the death. Because in the court of God I will charge the inspectors, I will charge inspector Shamlou, I will charge judge, and the judges of country’s Supreme Court that beat me up when I was awake and did not refrain from harassing me. In the court of the creator I will charge Dr. Farvandi, I will charge Qassem Shabani and all those that out of ignorance or with their lies wronged me and trampled on my rights and didn’t pay heed to the fact that sometimes what appears as reality is different from it. Dear soft-hearted Sholeh, in the other world it is you and me who are the accusers and others who are the accused. Let’s see what God wants. I wanted to embrace you until I die. I love you.
