Good day doctor ,earlier my girlfriend had issues with her period after taking postonor once due to her body being sensitive to the hormone surge, and didn't get her period skipping a month, she was later tested for pregnancy and it came out negative and was prescribed some drugs to correct her hormones by the pharmacist which allowed her see her period 2days after the dosage was finsihed.. But now she hasn't seen her next period.. And it's more than a full week late now.. I'd like to get your advice on what you think could be the problem, btw she is on B6 and B12 vitamin drugs.. She felt premenstrual symptom like breakouts and got a bit nauseous but could be the side effect of the pills And also has white vaginal discharge which has according to her a normal scent
NB: there has been no sexual interaction between her last period and now

I am told it's because she wasn't prescribed antibiotics along with the hormone correction drugs, and if she does take them she'll get her period(prescribed are ciproflaxin and Fluconazol) ..please sir I want to confirm if the information is accurate?

I'm sorry I'm just replying due to various reasons, the pharmacist perceived 3 types of drugs to her which when I checked on then had to do with hormonal imbalance as described online. About 3 days after her dosage was completed she had her period although it did not come with the pains of periods, after consulting with the pharmacist for further information he said that it was normal and by her next period it should be stable and back to normal, signs and all

It is normal to have this alteration especially if the Postinor 2 was taken during her ovulatory phase in her cycle. The extent of extension of the bleeding time may also depends on other factors too,such as poor nutrition, stress, underweight, menstrual cycle irregularity etc. She should have a serum pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy completely, and just wait some time more for bleeding.

Hello, Thank you for your suggestion. so she went for a blood pregnancy test and it came out negative, the pharmacist suggested that due to the postonor 2,thereally was a case of hormonal imbalance and decided to prescribe some drugs to try correcting it. He said that the imbalance seized her period and she wouldn't be able to have a normal cycle till it was restarted and best corrected immediately to avoid problems later..

Hello, so a friend of mine had unprotected sex, and while her boyfriend didn't cum in her she wanted to be sure and so took postonor 2 but her period has yet to show up 13days after when it usually is supposed to have.. And while she hasn't done any test in the clinic, she has done some home tests that gave negative.. I want to know if it's Normal or there could be something wrong.
