Pennyseo2: It's the same guy who asked the question.
Please be inform that Adsense policy & settings do change over time. It's been long I applied and they got my account approved. Apart from checking earnings, trends and statical performances I have nothing to check again.
If he is serious then he should post a screenshot
I did not claim I only stated the truth from my heart as to alert the youth that we can truly earn and live the better life we have imagined genuinely through blogging, Vlog, apps and other online real business that we often neglect.
The Naira and the economy is really bad and most youth turn to crime while some are being killed in search of job.
I had thought with this post we Nigerians will join the race compete with counterparts in India, Pakistan, Vietnam and other Asians countries who are doing wonderfully well in the tech world.
But response like this is not encouraging honestly. Kingstel was the one who asked you the question about seller information. Since you did not understand, Tradelyn tried to explain to you. Clixmaster then attacked Tradelyn telling him that if he cant post screenshot he should rest. So i told clixmaster that tradelyn was not the one who asked the question, because it was kingstel who did. Please read the thread. Having said that, i will like to apologise if my post discouraged you from sharing your success with us. That was not my intention. I assumed that adsense rolls out changes to all accounts just like the recent tax info requirements and assumed you were feigning ignorance. Forgive me I do appreciate your taking time to share your success with us as it is a source of motivation. Before now it was people like webincomeplus who shared knowledge and income made to motivate us and let us know it is possible to make good money without doing yahoo. Please dont stop sharing. I will appreciate if you share usernames of journeys on bhw were you learned from so i could read as info there could be overwhelming. Thanks |

ClixMaster: You no serious. Why asking question if you can't post screenshot for clarity? You are telling him to go to his own account He is not the one who asked the question. He was just explaining the question to the OP. And the OP should understand what the question is talking about if he uses adsense as he claims because he would have done it on his own account |

Let me introduce my self : A Graduate from UNIBEN, searching for work after graduation from Lagos to Abuja, spent over 2 years submitting CV. Even tried PH,had to give up. I recently opened this username for reason, let's leave this story for another day.
I am a seasoned YouTuber for years where I make videos and all sort, earning month to month doing reviews and the rest.
But in the past 2 years and few months I have dived into blogging to test the ground and i must tell you blogging is not dead. It depends on your approach, there are over 3.5 searches done on Google on daily basis and it's increasing day by day.
I was recently paid few days ago and below is my earnings from a blog. www.nairaland.com/attachments/13440427_img20210424034510_jpegce9684458600899c4d9c392b7b9fcde2 Exchange via 486 plus bonus on incoming fx by FG www.nairaland.com/attachments/13449406_img20210426070155_jpeg2a8740fdf3a14ec14ee94cbe03f10b02
When you mentioned blogging or blog what comes to the mind of most Nigerians is Linda ikeji the celebrity blogger who just occupies a tiny space or niche , I always refer her as a gossip blogger. Blogging is far More than that. blogging is broad, from medical, tech, finance, fitness which are broad niche to micro or sub niche like dating, fishing, sewing, swimming, recipes, parenting, cars, motorbike, wine, bear etc. I could list over 200 sub niches.
Here are some comment on that thread
Blogging has come to stay and it goes beyond gist or gossip which linda ikeji popularise. I earned close to 2m plus this month.
Yes blogging takes patience, a blog should pick up from the 7th month , if everything is done right by the blogger then traffic should be coming in from 7th to 8th month as at the time of writing this post then the peak period should be 24 months.
Most successful blogger are on nairaland and I have contact with a few who i connected with to share some ideas though some choose to comment on thread and shy away from discussion on earnings etc. There is a guy here whose sitz makes 4000 USD daily.
Linda ikeji blog is not dry in fact she makes millions of naira in a single day from adsense. I can't say how much she earns but believe me she got an insane traffic that can guarantee more than 15,000 USD a single day.. Believe me she might make more than this. Most of her readers are Nigerians in diaspora who wants to know gist back home.

I got to know that via some tools, which shows that more people a from abroad gets news from there.
Nigerians are not lazy, Nigerians are great people with best brain only the society and our leaders are making us look dumb.
I know a Nigerian that makes 25k to 30k USD monthly on apps from play store.
You should understand that a sole aim of going into business is not to laugh.. See I don't blog for passion rather for money. That's it
Blogging is saturated. There is room for everyone. Believe me. Blogging at the moment is not saturated. In fact Google once made it clear that over 30% of search quarries are something that haven't been searched before and over 3.5 billion searches are done daily.
The key here is identifying those searches and picking the ones that are not talk about on any site or few sites. Avoid the most competitive ones as a starter.
To earn high, don't target Nigerians as advertisers in Nigeria are not willing to pay as high when compare with USA, UK, Australia, Canada, etc. If you get 2 thousand page views daily you can get approximately the payment paid up there.
Picking your fight at the weakest point is your chances of success. Finally Avoid copy and paste I believe that you earned that as i have seen someone who showed his earnings in a video but earnings are from youtube. Can you mentor me? I would love to learn. I know basics like how to buy domain, and set up wordpress and post content. |

Slawormir: Damnnnnn niggarrr I told you all yesterday and you all were insulting me. I have realized that most people here on Nairaland are kids I know they are going to arrest this Moda fuckkker
You don't take videos and use social media to draw the worlds attention to our problems and insult the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai It is going to affect Nigerians on the long run it is going to affect the morale, the confidence, the enthusiasm and discipline of other officers. It affects the espirit de corp of other officers, It violates the "chain of command”
Like i said Soldiers should refrain from coming out on social media to complain. They are not supposed to be doing that Even if they have to do it then they should use the suggestion -cum- grievances boxes For all those still quoting me Let me tell you a secret Na two people dey always dey important in a country. Na these two people every other citizen dey look up to. And this people are the generallisimo ( president) and the army No matter what this two people can't insult their nation You are funny. I think you are the kid here. You think they have not been complaining via official means, using the cum box or whatever means? It has not worked that is why they come out as a last resort. The Soldier already knew he would be arrested as he said so in the video. I don't see any shocking or wonderful prediction you made like you are trying to imply. |
Webmasters › Re: Nicholas Idoko: My Experience As A Freelance Software Developer | Part 1 by CuriousX: 4:05pm On Jun 23, 2020 |
ultimatex: My name is Nicholas Idoko.
I have been writing codes since 2013 and It has not been a smooth journey, there are a lot of ups and downs and I have learned a lot in the process. I am still learning every day for I am still in the process to this day.
The webmaster section of Nairaland used to be so much fun during my early days of programming but now it seems to have turned to a serious marketplace for various services. I obviously do not have a problem with it in any way but I would like to mix things up a bit by sharing my experiences. I would reminisce a little and we can share knowledge and learn the best way to move forward in whatever we do.
If you are interested in my experience, I am sorry if you do not have the patience for it is a very long one and I can only cover it in parts.
With all respect, I am to do you the honor of starting from the very beginning of how it all started, bear with me.
My programming journey started in school. I schooled at Federal University of Technology, Owerri. I was studying Electrical/Electronics Engineering. (I should have done Mathematics or Computer Science ).
In my year two, we were introduced to Java and C++, I do not know if this applies to other schools but we were not taught much, just simple introductions about how to use system.out or include libraries in C++. Who invented Java and C++, theory stuff, I have likely forgotten now. I liked the idea of writing command and the computer does it for you. It was fun during practicals, everybody came out and we took turns writing simple commands in the school computer room. I enjoyed it but what we were taught was basically nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Funny enough, all those things did not spark my interest in programming. I just knew what it did and I focused on making sure I understood other subjects since the goal was to graduate with First Class . I was so naive. It's cool though because, after 3 weeks from my last practicals in the computer room, everything changed.
In the mid-year of 2013, ASUU decided to go on strike. We were about to write exams the following week. Deep down, I was happy and filled with Joy
My friend, Nnamdi introduced me to Game of Thrones and another friend introduced me to Suits. Mehn, I had so many movies to watch and boy, did I watch those movies, NO EXAMS, GO HOME, ASUU IS ON STRIKE. One evening, I was browsing through Nairaland and someone posted 10 richest men in the world. I started researching all these men and it dawned on me that half of them got their money from software
The thought was deeply stuck in my mind. The time, I was spending watching those movies started to soar because I started to fill like I was wasting my time. I wouldn't lie I kept on watching the movies like I didn't care at all. Students have started to gradually travel back home as a result of the strike. I was in no rush so I just stayed back but there was a little problem. NEPA cut the light of my lodge in school, I started to buy fuel for my generator to watch movies on my laptop. One morning on my way to buy fuel, I had the opportunity to chat with my neighbor for he was going to buy fuel as well.
We started chatting but before, I continue I have to tell you a few things about my neighbor. He is name is Kingsley and he was the biggest boy in the lodge. He had everything and more than a student needs in his room. He had a big plasma TV, fridge, water dispenser, AC, and a Car.
Prior, to that chat, we had never really talked to each other just greetings here and there, Women were dying to be with him. He was in the final year at the time. I actually misjudged him because I taught his parents had money but that was very far from the case. He went for parties left, right and center. Everybody knew him and he was like the King of the hostel. I remember there was a day, a girl came to his room and refused to go back to the hostel because she felt so comfortable . Simply put, in my eyes he had money.
As we were chatting about irrelevant things, I can't even remember today, I asked him what is he up to today and he said he is wrapping up a website for a company in Senegal and he would be paid today. I then asked him how much are they paying he said $850. At that time, $1 was NGN 160. I was shocked, back then that was big money for a student in year two. It was approx. NGN 136,000. He then told me the website took him 3 months to develop and the total fee he charged was $1750.
It was at that moment, my interest in software development hit hard
I followed him to his room to see the website and it was cool, he showed me his codes and it all looked gibberish in my eyes but I was fascinated. I started to feel like I have been wasting my time all this while. I could have been using this time to make some cool cash. That incident really fired me up. He told me he was using JSP (Java Server Pages) to develop the website and for me to begin, I have to, first of all, learn Java.
You know how when you have your entire life planned out and in a single second you just see all your plans dismantled into nothingness. It was at the moment, I realized I had no plan. I always taught like this. I would finish B.eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with first-class honors, do my masters, Ph.D. and work in an oil company . I still laugh to this day thinking about it.
I spoke with Kingsley for the entire day and things started changing.
I would have to pause this story here for now. If you would like me to share more simply indicate and I would share further. I would also like to know your experiences as well. You can share here or create a thread telling us how you picked interest in software development. I would like the webmaster section to be mixed up a bit like how it was in the old days.
Thank you! I love your story please continue |

Olominira: Trump generally lacks basic understanding of how simple things work in politics, both local and int'l. I wonder if he has or listens to advice and intelligent reports.
He likes to confront and bully everyone either friends or foes. He also likes to hurt people with words even when it's unnecessary. In all honesty, nothing shows any trace of intelligence in him. The question is how did he become president? I think it is because Democrats fielded Hillary Clinton. If they had fielded another popular male, I guess he would have won trump. Health › Re: My Experience As A Covid 19 Survivor. by CuriousX: 12:18pm On May 16, 2020 |
osesology: Fellow Nairalanders, l want to first of all use this opportunity to thank God for saving my life from this dreaded virus called covid 19.
I'm from Edo state. I was one of the 20 people that were discharged on the 13th of this month. My purpose of writing this piece is to enlighten the people, especially the unbelievers on this forum that this virus is real. It is not a propaganda. Yes, l do not argue the fact that Govt has a way of taking advantage of situations like this, but when you are knowledgable, there is an extent at which you can be fooled.
This desease does not have the power that we are attributing to it. It took me just 7 days to recover because my case was detected early. The reason why people are still dying from this virus is due to ignorance and scepticisms. And when they eventually fall sick, it becomes too late
The day l received the call that my result came back positive, the health officials told me to take my time to get ready, and, even though they had my home address, told me to let them know where it will be convenient for me to wait for them to come pick me up. I'm saying this for those who keep say how come they don't see videos of patients on t.v. This was done so people don't stigmatize people close to me. Trust me, Nigerians are very good (or should l say bad) at that. Infact, the day after l was checked in the facility, one driver that works at my office who lives on the same street with my sister, went to that street to announce to anyone who cares to listen that her brother has tested positive to corona virus. Immediately, they started to stigmatize my sister, her husband and their three children. And these are people that l have had no contact with for weeks.
So, my main reason for writing this is for people to stop being ignorant. Get tested immediately you start to feel unwell. Early detection is the key to fighting this thing. When you are been screened, answer all the questions truthfully, don't hold any information back because it is due to the information you give that determines if you are eligible for testing or not. It is better you get tested and it comes out positive and receive treatment immediately than lie about your health, go home and die in ignorance.
Covid 19 is Real! Thanks. What symptoms did you have that made you feel it was corona? Where did you go to get tested? I went out yesterday in Benin and entered a bus now I feel dizzy and have been spitting like a pregnant woman. Scared |

Business › BREAKING: IG Orders Probe Of E-money, Withdraws Police Escort by CuriousX(op): 10:43am On May 12, 2020 |
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the probe of the Chairman, Five Star Group, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money, over his flamboyant lifestyle and flagrant abuse of police escorts, The PUNCH has learnt. Okonkwo, who is the brother to musician, Kingsley Okonkwo aka K-Cee, was said to have drawn the ire of the police boss for using policemen like domestic servants. An order, it was learnt, was immediately issued to the Lagos State Police Command to withdraw the six policemen attached to E-Money. A top police officer said, “We received a signal from the Force headquarters on Monday that the police detail of music executive, E-Money, be immediately withdrawn and an investigation into the man be launched. “The IG was surprised that policemen were attached to him in the first place and were being used like domestic servants, carrying umbrellas, opening doors, and doing menial jobs for him. “The policemen were discovered to be attached to B Operations at the command headquarters and not MOPOL which is the usual practice. So, we have withdrawn his policemen and we are inviting him for questioning. The policemen will also be interrogated.” E-Money, who also claims to be a clearing and forwarding agent, is known for his flamboyant lifestyle. He boasts of two Rolls Royce, two Mercedes Benz G Wagons and other Sports Utility Vehicles worth billions of naira. The socialite is often seen on social media shaking hands with Very Important Persons including governors, senators, monarchs, ministers, and other top government officials. When contacted on the telephone, an associate of E-Money, Chidozie Dike, said he was not aware of the development and he believed it was not true. “I am not aware and I don’t think this is true,” Dike said.
