My people don't learn easily, we learn the hard way, after how other Nigerians participated in killing our people in 1966-1970 we haven't learn anything, we keep investing in other parts of the country, leaving out Igbos land. from investment, all we do is to go home every December, ndi Igbo it's time to be selfish by investing homeward, let's build our industry in the east and transport to other parts of the country, start being selfish when it comes to investing in the East, the time is now |

I back the sit at home by my people, it's a day set aside to remember our fallen heroes, who shared their blood for us to be alive today. It's a day for sober reflection, it's a day to think what we have gained as a Nigerian since after the war in 1970 . It's a day to think about disservice to the Igbo by the Igbo as a result of investing outside Igbo land. |

Obamaofusa: Everybody knows Igbos are trying but not in the league of Yorubas who are up there educationally home and abroad! They have people who had consistently broken world record which no African has done by scoring 5 point perfect scores, having about four youngest phd holders in the world!Igbos do not even near the yorubas in all these! You only have 3 people entering all Ivy schools which I know yorubas will cancel very soon because of their versatility!Too many laurels in the kitty of the yorubas for them to be compared with the Igbos! Just give me the equivalent of okonjo iweala former World Bank MD Sandy Okoro World Bank Solicitor World treasurer Arunma Oteh Chiwetulu Ejiofor Uzor Aduba Emmy Award winner Eni Njoku NASA USA Oby Ezekwesili former World Bank treasurer Let me stop here, just provide me their mates in yoruba land. |

Temysteve: I dnt think he need to lobby before (drake) or any international artiste show in his video. Not everybody will be like davido who will dash out 100Million+ to 1 foolish nigga who won't promote his music. Wizkid is a big act already, it'll be difficult for @ least 60% of US citizen to deny who he is (even if dey don't listen to his music). Once you dash out a good tune nd well promoted you'll surely surpass those folks.. exaggeration! If the 60% of US citizens know him, why is not showing in his YouTube videos, none of his videos is up to 25million views. Don't think we're all kids here |

delpee: No need for tribalism. Many Nigerian students from various tribes have been admitted to IVY league schools this year. So proud of them all. Nigerians are outstanding in terms of the rate of completion of college education.
One of the successful students this year is Olawunmi Akinlemibola who was admitted into 14 colleges including Harvard, Princeton, Stanford etc. can you list the other Nigerians admitted in Ivy League schools apart from the one you mentioned |

blackboy: What makes him Nigerian. The story says he joins the long list of LONG ISLAND students - not LAGOS ISLAND students.
Does he have a Nigerian passport? Does he have an American passport?
Because my name is Samuel Robert don't make me American nor British. BEcause his name is Okonkwo don't make him Nigerian. Yes, Nigerian roots but not Nigerian.
Like the UK Parliament terror attacker his real surname was Ajose before he changed it to the muslimm name but because he was Ajose dont make him Nigerian.
How would some of us feel cause of our name we are called Aboki or Nna or Yoruba when really its just a name but not really where we come from.
The guy is American lets face it and not Nigerian.
Sorry. He's Igbo, just park one side |
