Once it's gets to 40% it drops to 1% within few minutes.. What could be the actual cause? It was in 53% this morning.. within few minutes the battery kept dropping till it got to 1%.. Is it the phone or the battery? I'm worried

Irish students save their classmate from deportation to Nigeria

'I am really looking forward to my future here in Ireland,' says 14-year-old Nonso Muojeke

Nonso Muojeke was 'very grateful' to his friends following their successful campaign to keep him in Ireland
Nonso Muojeke was 'very grateful' to his friends following their successful campaign to keep him in Ireland ( RTE News )
Irish students have successfully campaigned to save their classmate from being deported to Nigeria.

Nonso Muojeke, 14, is a student at Tullamore College in County Offaly, where he has lived with his family for the past 11 years.

His mother was reportedly forced to flee Nigeria after her husband died in 2006, but after their application for asylum was denied the family faced deportation.

Wife of deported Afghan ‘killed by Taliban’ speaks out
When they heard the news, Nonso’s classmates launched the Save Nonso campaign, gathering supporters from around the world to back the cause and making a video to pressure justice minister Charlie Flanagan into letting him stay.

Nonso had reportedly been “petrified” at the prospect of leaving Ireland, where he has spent the vast majority of his life.

The campaign came to a head when the students delivered a petition with 22,000 signatures to Mr Flanagan requesting that the family could be allowed to stay.

Speaking for the campaign, Nonso’s teacher Joe Caslin told the Irish Examiner: “Nonso has lived virtually his whole life here – over 11 years.

“Forcing him to leave the only home he knows will inflict great harm on this young boy.

“Minister Charles Flanagan has the power to keep Nonso where he belongs – with his friends and community who love and care for him in Tullamore.”

On Wednesday Nonso, together with his mother Chidiebere and older brother Victor, were granted leave to remain in Ireland.

According to the Irish Times, Nonso issued a statement that evening in which he said: “I would like to thank the minister [for justice] for the humane way in which he handled my case.

“I am very grateful to my friends, my school, the Tullamore community and everyone else who has supported me. I am really looking forward to my future here in Ireland.”

Home Office attempts to deport children ‘harmful and ineffective’
MP Barry Cowen, who had backed the campaign, said he was “thrilled to have been able to support the Save Nonso and the Muojeke Family from deportation campaign in the Dail”.

“The two boys and their mother have been part and parcel of the Tullamore community for many years and it would have flown in the face of common sense to send them back to a country they didn’t know.”

A statement from the Irish Department of Justice said the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) had come to the decision after “a detailed reconsideration of the family’s immigration case in light of court proceedings and the receipt of updated submissions from the family in September.

“The reconsideration was completed towards the end of last week with the relevant decision letters having been issued earlier this week.”

Apc has ruled Lagos state for the past 20 years, but the inner road in Lagos are the worst I have seen, one begin to wonder what they are using the money to do, what they usually do is to modify FG roads and leave their inner road's which is very bad.
There are over 500 of this road in Lagos

Abagworo:
OWERRI—OVER 13 governorship aspirants under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, have started defecting to other political parties. Vanguard learnt yesterday that the new dimension followed the reported declaration of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume as the gubernatorial candidate of the party. This happened at a point the other governorship aspirants were at the concluding part of taking a stand on a consensus candidate after the primaries failed. The aspirants included immediate past governor of Imo state, Ikedi Ohakim; Frank Nneji, Bright Nwanne, Steve Nwoga, Sam Amadi and Okey Ezeh. APGA Others are Charles Onyeagbako, Zik Azike, Uche Onyeagucha, Ike Ibeh, Nick Opara Ndudi, Chike Nsofor, Philip Ibekwe,Obi Njoku and Stanley Amuchie. Vanguard was told that Mr Daniel Kanu was in support of Araraume’s candidature. As a result of the development, one of the governorship aspirants, immediate past governor of Imo state, Ikedi Ohakim, is said to have settled for Accord Party to pursue his governorship ambition. At the time of filling this report, some are joining Ohakim while others have initiated negotiation to pitch tent with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Social Democratic Party, SDP.. Before the declaration of Araraume’s candidature, the venue of the primaries was initially at Aladimma mall, but on the day Araraume was pronounced winner by a Returning Officer, Mrs. Eberechukwu Ejikeme, it took place at Kanu Nwankwo sport stadium in Owerri. On the day Araraume got the ticket, the committee was said to have arrived Owerri at about 9pm but scores of contestants claimed that they were not informed. Recall, the game to outwit each other in the primaries started on the 6th of October, and followed with protests. While on the 8th Araraume beat others to the game. Some believed that Araraume, who joined APGA, about three weeks to the primaries, had a good relationship with the National Working Committee, NWC, to have clinched the ticket. Peeved by the outcome of the primaries, Sam Amadi, said: “The plot to impose candidate must be resisted. We have resolved to present a consensus candidate. We will come out with our position and let the public know our stand.” Also Okey Ezeh, “No election took place he only declared himself winner of the primary with the support of his supporters, thugs and militants at the sports centre in Owerri.”

PoliticsRe: APGA Stakeholders Threaten To Dump APGA Over Imposition Of Cand by Customer80: 7:52am On Oct 11, 2018
Apga has lost it, imagine imposing Ifeanyi Ararume as gubernatorial candidate for Imo state as against having Sam Amadi or Frank Nneji as the candidate. Apga goes for the highest bidder, that's why the party is not growing as it should be in south east

TravelRe: Reasons Lagos Will Remain King And What Other States Should Do To Dethrone It by Customer80: 8:35pm On Oct 05, 2018
All you mentioned was just the peripheral aspect of it, Lagos is what it is because it's sitting on federal government infrastructure and nothing more
DevelopNaija:
I was opportune to do my National Youth Service Corp in Lagos precisely in one of the highbrow areas in Lagos. Then, my conversation or chat with most people goes like this…

“Where are you serving?”

“Lagos” I reply.

“Lucky you, So many opportunities for you.”

“If only other states are developed and offer many career/business opportunities just like Lagos, you would know that there is nothing really ‘lucky’ about working in Lagos.” I tell them.

From my observation and experience, here are the reasons Lagos will remain KING of GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT:

1. Limitless Career and Business opportunities

Have you ever thought of why Mark Zuckerberg visited Lagos to promote technology instead of promoting it in Sokoto; or why Lagos always have the highest number of Youth Corp members yearly? It is because there are less hindrances and more potential opportunities to thrive in the Lagos environment. Lagos is a city where people are given the opportunity and freedom to thrive and develop with little or no political or tribal obstacle.

2. Minimal Tribal/Indigene interference:

I hardly hear of tribal clash or community interference in one’s business area of operation in Lagos.

3. Freedom to thrive as a non-indigene:

Lagos is known as ‘No man’s land’. No discrimination! Everyone who can make valuable contribution to the Lagos economy is highly welcomed and appreciated! Just be a good citizen and pay your tax!

4. Government with futuristic vision

I need not say much. Just Google “Best State Governments in Nigeria” and see if Lagos isn’t among the top! Personally, I am very impressed with the way the Lagos State Response Unit rapidly attend to emergency situations all anywhere in the state.

Any state that wants to dethrone Lagos as KING of GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT should do the following:

1. STOP all forms of tribal discrimination as well as political and community interference in one’s business area of operation.

2. Give non-indigenes same equal opportunity as indigenes.

3. The Government should attract investor with favourable and juicy conditions.

4. Elect people who are competent leaders and are capable of pushing for economic growth and development all over the state.

As a business owner or an entrepreneur, make conscious effort to contribute to the economic development of your state by opening a business site in your state, if possible, make your state the headquarters of your business.

The beautiful thing about dethroning Lagos is that, Lagos will become depopulated because same opportunities in Lagos will become present in other states

Accolades goes to people like Innoson Motor Boss – Innocent Chukwuma and popular Nollywood actor – Jim Iyke for overlooking the opportunities in Lagos to set up their businesses in the South-East which has and will continue to create several career/ business opportunities for residents in the region.

To all those who have decided to focus on economically improving other states and create job opportunities for residents by setting up their businesses there, your works are deeply appreciated.

Yes, I was there a few months back on a visit. The major road around Iyanoba is so bad but once you enter the road leading to Lasu to the LGA it feels like you are abroad. I don't understand, must be cause of different contractors and politics
which road leading to lasu resemble abroad? Road that when it rains, becomes water logged, anyway the complain is about Lagos badagry expressway
TravelRe: See What Lagos Residents Face Everyday And Pretend All Is Well (pics) by Customer80: 8:03am On Sep 12, 2018
You have to pay 500 naira to a bike man to get to mile 2,while going back, I paid the same amount, the road is infrastructure is really worst in ojo axis, if you enter a bus you will spend not less than 5 hours to get to mile 2 from iyana iba.

Ambode has failed us living in that area
