Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover has won a case in China against Jiangling Motors Corp for making cars that copy features of Range Rover Evoque.
The Beijing Chaoyang District Court said on Friday that the Evoque SUV had five unique features that were copied directly in the Landwind X7 built by Jiangling Motors.
The Chinese court ruled that all sales, manufacturing and marketing of the Landwind vehicle must stop immediately and Jaguar Land Rover be paid compensation.
Jaguar Land Rover’s spokesperson said:
JaguarLandrover first sued the Chinese based Jiangling Motor over the Landwind X7 in 2016. The UK-based automaker said it was the first time that a Chinese court has ruled in favour of foreign company over a Chinese carmaker.

Those gaming smartphones you talked about aren’t anything special. Just a regular high end smartphone with bumped up specs - That’s it. Adding extra RAM, Space and increasing the screen refresh rate doesn’t make it a come close... LOL. They’ll still play the same games as your average phone. and what is even crazy is the price. 7 to 8 hundred usd. that can buy me a good entry level gaming laptop like the Dell g5. Mobile gaming is crap as far as I am concerned. |

You have 6 weeks to apply. You should also note that there are thousands of people who want to apply just like you. I will suggest that you try it at night when traffic is likely to be less. Also do not wait till the last week as many people will also try to beat the deadline. Also make sure your scanned copies are clear and legible. I have seen some people who were not shortlisted beacuase some of their documents were not legible and the reviewer couldn't be bothered to go the extra mile to make out what the document contained as there were thousands of other documents to review.

How can an economist say that the country is spending half of the budget deficit on imported textiles? What correlation does that have? The government isn't the one spending the money on importing the textiles. Textile importers simply source the forex from the CBN and they pay for it! They didn't dash them this money or lent it to them.

It's time government focused on an export or perish mentality because that's the proper way to industrialise and not through import substitution which forces you to pour resources on areas lack comparative advantage.
What kind of third world country is this that does not have a textile sector that is a massive exporter of textiles and garments? If the nation has failed in that, it shows there are deep-rooted problems why the textile industry is dormant here.
