I have always thought that the poor are in better position of making rational decisions because of the hardship they are passing through compare to the rich people who get whatever they want at the tip of there finger but after spending close to 4years in a particular rural area, my orientation about some things concerning the poor people changed and they are as follows;

Run into debt just to celebrate a party: In this hard times Nigerians are going through, you will never imagine that some poor people can purposely run into debt just to celebrate parties like, Burial ceremony, graduation from reading a koran, birthday, weddings. It is common in my area. I do imagine why someone so poor will like to borrow money to celebrate frivolity. Is it a must to party?

Bad manner of raising children: Sometimes ago, it is only rich people I knew to be pampering children but things has changed. This particular people are over protective. If you try to correct their children by little beating, they will shout 'ahhhh he is too young for that ooo', 'shey u won kill ham'. They are destroying such children unknowingly. Have you ever wonder where the street thugs are from, they are children of poor parents who believes that beating a child as correction is bad.

Early marriage as achievement: In my area you see a girl of 12, 12, 13, getting belle and before you count one to three, they are already in the so called husband's house who is probably still being fed by his parent. They like being called 'mama lagbaja, mama that'. They give births to children who they could not take care of thereby adding more to the problems of the country. Now the question is, na by force to have unprotected sex?

Always pessimistic against the rich ones: They believe the rich people does do pure things to make money. A man came to watch TV in my room and fortunately he met me listening to Hip pop songs of (davido, wizkid and so on), the next thing he said was that they are drug dealers, no one can ever get that rich just by music alone. I tried to explain to him but to no avail. Please if someone is not rich, does that make others ritualists or where do these people get their orientation from?

The story of the guy that his galfriend got him frustrated after he proposed that was pasted on the front page got me thinking.
Please if I may ask, does LOVE put food on tables nowadays because I really don't understand why a guy or a lady will decide to die over love. If you are in a relationship and its not working out, cut it off and do something meaningful will your life.

Nice observation. Age is not constant but the 2000years of a thing is not wrong. When people say over 2000years, it may be 2500, 2800, it may even 3000 years in as much the word 'Over' is included. E.g 20+... 21, 22, 23,...30.

EPISODE 01:

I wasn't there at the beginning of this story because I was
not yet born but will make it clear to you, so flow along with
me.
I saw this place, the place was very large and filled with
people I don't know. Judging from what I saw, I guess the
people were up to a million or more than that.

I later
discover that this people are Demons and principality. There was this noise coming from them due to the conversation they were having which seems very serious guessing from their facial expression. After few hours of discussion, there was another noise and a strong vibration . Before I could notice anything, I saw those Demons fell down on their kneels saying 'Lucifer our lord, the ruler of the world' and so on and on.

No wonder, I now know the reason for the strong vibration, it was to cause an attention of demons from their discussion to him. After passing of this drama, Lucifer (satan) start talking. We got a problem and we need to find solution to it now, said Lucifer (satan).

They (the demons) began to look at each other face as if the answer to their question is written on it. After few minute, they asked; master what could be the problem? Then I saw, a big flat screen tv, like those used during film show but
much bigger than it.

Then I saw, a man preaching from one country to another, winning souls, doing wonderful things for God, infact he was really used by God. After watching the history this man who I didn't know, those demons ask their master Lucifer what can they do to stop the man. Lucifer replies with one mysterious smile then being talking.

The man you saw in that video is not yet on earth but will be
given birth in the next 20 years to come and will start fully
the work of 'THAT MAN' ( Jesus ) the age I myself don't know.
Jesus name was never mention and will never be mention in
their conversation because of the power in the name so they use THAT MAN instead and don't be surprise when Lucifer said he doesn't know the age at which the man will being his work for God.

He is not that wise, and that's why he wait from final words from people of God. So, after lucifer told them about the man, I saw one demon stood up and told Lucifer to send him to counter the man but Lucifer replies and said; I won't use u but will use a fellow man like the man I watch in video to do it.

Everything is not all about pix.

I was at Christ-Embassy musical program titled DERIZO yesterday at ibadan which held between the hour of 4pm on friday to dawn. I must tell you, its just as if we were in a club or joint.
You can imagine, someone singing 'Jagaban', 'Connectee', 'fugi' and so many others even the choirs were dancing sakiti without changing the dancing step.

I was like what the f*ck! It was totally worldly. Majority of the song sang there, except for Sinach, were worldly music and spicing it up with the word 'Jesus', dancing secular dance.

Maybe I don't really know what Christianity is all about shaaa but what I saw yesterday was like 'Baba, you just have to forgive us'

Thing about marriage is that one MUST vehemently pray before you go into it..what the Op adumbrated are just some,out of copious reasons why marriages break down irretrievably.

Nowadays many people will come out shouting that 'my marriage is this my marriage is that' shortly after their marriage and you keep wondering what happened. I think I have some of the reasons.

Handsomeness or Beauty
This is the problem of some Nigeria girls but the guys are not also exempted. They are like, 'if I want to get marry, I will a tall guy, slim, fresh guy, dark, light, eloquent english, pink lips, big breast ( for guys),. Its good to have the image of want you for your life but I must tell you, few years after wedding, all this beauty will fade away. Its not as if the partner will loose the beauty or handsomeness but then, you will focus your mind on important issues like feeding, taking care of children and so on than facial look.

Faulty Courting
Courting should be like a training ground or should I say where what you really want for your family life is decided before marriage but unfortunately Nigerians see it as merry time. Moving from Kfc to Shoprite. If you see something wrong in your spouse to be, correct him or her then if he/she refuses, cancel the relationship so as to avoid 'you know me like this ooo before we get marry issue'

Two parallel lines
I know of some families where the husband will be a gentle going man while the wife is really tough then you keep wondering how it happened. Issues like this also break marriages. If you are the kind of guy that does not like trouble, please don't date a troublesome lady and thinking that you can bear it now. What you can bear now my not be so years later after marriage. Love may be blind but marriage is the tool that will open it. Choose carefully my brothers and sisters.

Respect
Respect is equivalent to love. You can't tell me you love a guy you want to get married to and you can't give him the respect he deserves even if you are age mates. This is where most Nigerians ladies are missing it. Some ladies don't want to marry men older than them by few years because they don't want to be controlled by any man. A lady who does not respect you as her boyfriend will surely not respect your family and that's it.

Don't let your parent or church choose your future husband for you
I have heard of some cases where some churches will tell you to marry your church member. For what reason my fellow nairalanders? Don't ever do that because when you finally face challenges in that marriage, all they can do is advise both of you. Finally, don't let your parent dictate the tribe to marry to you. You owe your life and not your parent's life
