Today, the sun was so bright that the batteries had no choice than to hit 14.4/14.8v before CC disconnected charging. C.C resumes charging once battery drops to 13.2v.

Yes, that’s what all my tests are pointing to.

For context: Before the Haisic battery arrived, I was using a custom-built lithium battery with my 3kVA hybrid inverter and 24V solar setup. With eight 200W solar panels on the roof, I could charge the battery from 24V in the morning to 29.2V by 1–3 PM, depending on sunlight.

The Haisic arrived and got stuck at 27.2V on day one. I initially thought the issue was charging current. My inverter supports 30A for AC charging, the charge controller is rated 60A, and the battery’s recommended charge current is 40A. So, I ruled out current as the problem.

Did a drain test, still stuck at 26.8-27.2 V after hours of charging. Did the final test today, disconnected the inverter from the battery, and the inverter went straight to 29.1 V, while the charge controller that is connected to the battery shows 26.8 V. So, I have ruled out the inverter limiting the charge current.

My guess is either the BMS is faulty or one or more cells are weak. Order the Coulomb meter posted here a few threads back, but it will take 3 weeks to get to me.

I've been experiencing something similar to this with my two Cworth 12v Lifepo4 batteries connected in parallel. The voltage hardly crossed 13.3v despite several hours of full sunshine.

Batteries have refused to cross 13.3v.

I'm using the Lib battery type and it's bulk and float charge voltage is both 14.4v.

Panel successfully installed....
Charge controller woke immediately it sensed power from the panels.

But I have a new challenge. My batteries have not crossed 13.3v (3 bars). It stays at that voltage without getting to the 14.4v despite the huge power from the charge controller.
I don't know if there's a setting in the charge controller that is responsible for this.

I bought Felicity 80A MPPT Charge controller sometimes last two weeks from a dealer but ever since then it's just yesterday I decided to tried it out.

But lo and behold, controller did not turn on. I don't know If this is how Felicity charge controller behaves or is there anything wrong with this particular one? Or maybe it will turn on when I connect my panels to it.


My setup is two 12v Cworth Lifepo4 batteries connected in parallel and a 12v sachet inverter. The battery is about 13v at the moment and it's currently supplying the inverter.

Sell the tubular batteries and get sealed lead-acid batteries. A good one will give you at least 4-5 years. No emissions too.

Solar will carry AC fan with ease but AC fans consumes more power than DC fans

Also, ac fans can makes some human noise while ok inverter

That humming sound goes with Modified sine wave inverters not Pure sine wave inverters.

Pure sine wave inverters give out clean steady power with stable voltage than national grid.

You are right, but remember maintenance, though it's still cheaper.

I fill my inverter batteries with inverter(Distilled) water every month and it cost me N5000 to N10,000 monthly.

I don't know if there's anything I can do to reduce such.

Ditch your Tubular battery and embrace Lifepo4 batteries. With the latter, you don't necessarily need that monthly expenses on maintenance.

The other option is better than this. Almost all jinko panels up to 605w have a current rating around 13amps. From 610w up has around 15amps (you can check out their specs sheets to confirm). Future expansion would most likely be series connection. So if you get the 620w panel now, know you would stick to the 610w + going forward.

I don't see why you'd have an issue with collecting the 580w and 590w sha. You'd just be losing 10w.

My major worry is the thought of when I want to upgrade my panel size in the future. Having different sized panels may affect my setup in the future. Another option I was given is to top up payment for two 620W panels.

I ordered two 585W Jinko panels from Fouani.
But this morning I got a call requesting me to contact a show room for my order. After I did so, I was informed by the show room manager that they only have one panel each of 590W and 580W.

I made payment on the 6/5/2025 when the panels were much available. So, I don't know why this new development.

My inverter setup is as follows: a 3.5kVA inverter with two Luminous tubular batteries. I have three 555W Jinko solar panels connected in parallel to an old 60A Modern Felicity charge controller. 6mm copper wire from the panels to the charge controller. However, the cables(6mm) from the charge controller to the batteries tend to get warm, and sometimes even hot. What could be causing this, and is there any solution?

Double the 6mm cable between the cc and inverter if you can't get 10mm cable. Ensure that the cables are of same length.

Pharmacy students are now conducted on hours of ward rounds and all forms of drug therapy problems evaluated using the patients folder.

Pharmacy learning is now 6 years and more clinical focused and patient oriented.

Why are you averse to updates as they are in America ? All these things are for the betterment of the patient, when you have MD and PharmD going on rounds to evaluate your folder to ensure no mistakes. It's a win for the patient.

If you hate it, resign from your job. Patient must be protected at the detriment of your ego and pride. Patient first, not Doctor first.

What's the aim of your rounds? Is it to check for correctness of prescriptions or drug-drug interactions? Or do you think being a doctor is to prescribe drug only. There's more to being a doctor than you pharmacists think.

Or do you think 1 year is sufficient to gather both theoretical and clinical knowledge of the pathological basis of disease and it's management. Guess you think patient management is by doing trial and error with drugs. Guy... rest, you pharmacists, especially Nigerian Pharmacist, have misplaced your priorities.

Instead of you guys to focus on your job description and think of how to match up with countries like India in terms of drug design and production, you're busy doing busybody.

By the time doctors decide to procure drugs after prescribing the same drugs to patients that's when you'll understand the need to maintain your job descriptions.

See if you like the doctors work, then get admitted into medical school. Simple. Otherwise sit down with your job description. I know some pharmacists who went back to study medicine and surgery. I think those guys are more sensible than peeps like you who chose to still remain as a pharmacists but desire to do the work of doctors.
