Dr. Should be reserved for PhD holders only. Everyone else (MBBS, Pharm., etc) should display their qualifications if they so much take pride in it.

You were given admission to study MBBS and MBBS is displayed on your certificate. Go and rest if you don't know you borrowed Dr lexicon from PhDs.
Turn to your dictionary and look up the word "doctor" for a better comprehension.

Or maybe I should help you out for free...

...cont of the definition of a doctor
4. Dentist

Then also look up the term "Pharmacist"
Again, I'll help you out for free

The problem is that the Nigerian system has so twisted the thinking of many people that they don’t even know what is proper or what is obtainable outside Nigeria. I saw someone arguing over the use of the “Doctor” title, and another claiming that pharmacists can’t diagnose or manage patients, na there them just goof

Trying to explain or reason with someone who believes they know everything is simply not worth the effort. The issue is that doctors in Nigeria are fighting over the so-called title because they see themselves as the bosses in the healthcare team.

In reality, the entire healthcare team should work collaboratively to ensure the patient achieves the best possible outcome—not to prove who is superior or who had more training.

In the UK, for instance, there are nurse practitioners who can play the role of a doctor, albeit with certain restrictions. You’re even advised to visit your pharmacist for certain conditions, and if it’s beyond them, they refer you to a general practitioner. There are also clinical pharmacists in hospitals who collaborate with medical teams on specific cases. Everyone has their role.

But in Nigeria, we’re always dragging issues that make no sense. It’s always a power tussle—every single time.
Una go dey alright
You're wrong bro...
The problem is with some professionals in the country, especially the pharmacist. you guys are not satisfied with your job description. I got information that you guys are being stirred against doctors by your lecturers. Just imagine how stupid it is for a pharmacy lecturer to be teaching "hatred for doctors" during their lecture hours. No na. It makes no sense at all.

If doctors don't encroach into your profession because they understand their job description and respect your roles in the hospital, why then do u guys want to do otherwise.

A Pharmacist's title in the USA is Dr. And after his name he puts a bracket (Pharm.D)

Medical Doctors are not the owners of Dr title. What they were admitted to study is MBBS and not Dr. Show me proof they were admitted to study Dr. and Dr. was written on their admission letter. Rather it was Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.

The real Dr. are the Ph.D holders and it is called Dr of Philosophy (Ph.D). Yet they don't get angry that medical doctors call themselves Dr that they didn't study for because what they studied is MBBS.

There is love in sharing.

Like I said, Dr title does not belong to anyone and in America, Pharmacists are referred to as Dr with (Pharm.D) in bracket

There is something called "healthcare team collaboration", read up on it.

Pharmacists study Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Anatomy, Physiology, so what do you study that we don't study ?

Pharmacists education in Rx school is being expanded to 6 years to incorporate clinical and patient-oriented education and clinical care, hence the introduction of the prefix Dr. followed by (Pharm.D).

In USA, Medical Doctors write their name as Dr. followed by (MD). Pharmacists Dr. followed by (Pharm.D).

That is how it is done because they're both clinical scholars.
Did I hear you clearly on that statement of yours? I don't think so. For your information, those courses you mentioned are Basic medical sciences... not even clinical sciences. That's if at all the full regional anatomy is being taught in pharm school.

Even though pharmacology is considered as a basic clinical science in some medical schools, it is done together with Pathology. And you need to pass those two departments in order to cross to the clinical level.

The clinical level is way higher than what can be taught and mastered under one year my brother. Just imagine, dealing with paediatrics, ObsGyn, Surgery and Internal medicine (with their various units), not to talk of other specialties like ENT, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Mental health... all these under one year? Haba. No na.

My brother forget that matter, ARD is a strong voice in the medical profession and they are working hard to protect the nobel profession.

Give the doctors their due respect and if truly you like their prestige, then nothing stops you from going thru medical school.

1. The charge controller max input voltage will determine if the panels can be connected in series or parallel.

2. The 720w is the maximum power the charge controller can output for a 12v system, so if you connect a load of 500w to the inverter, the remaining 200w+ will be used by the battery for charging.
Thanks for ur response.

This is the spec of Felicity 60A CC.
Maximum Input Power: 12V-825W (Parallel). 24V-1650W (Series)
PV Array MPPT Voltage Range: 60-130V DC

The 590W PV parameters when connected in series:
Voc= 105.26v (52.63v * 2)
Vmp= 87.42V ( 43.71v* 2)
which is still within the pv array range of 60-130v.

It means if I connect the pv in parallel, I'll be limited to just 825W whereas my panel combination can produce 1180W(590w*2). That's about 355W wastage, meanwhile connecting pv in series will yield 24V-1650W.

can I conclude by saying the pv series connection is better for my setup since the mppt charge controller can still charge my 12v lifepo4 battery even though the pv are series connected.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by cutefy: 11:34pm On Apr 15, 2025
Good day gurus...

If I have two 590W panels, 12v 3000W transformerless inverter, a 12v 100AH LiFePo4 battery and a 60A 12v/24v Felicity Charge controller.

1. Can I connect the two 590w panel in series to the 60A 12/24V mppt charge controller in order to charge a 12v lifepo4 battery.

2. Since my panels are oversized, It is Felicity 60A charge controller. I intend connecting a total load of about 500W during the period of sunset (from 7am to 4pm daily) between the CC and 12 v 3000w transformerless inverter.

So Is it possible that while the charge controller delivers about 720w to the battery, the remaining power from the panel will be supplied to the load of about 500W.

Good day everyone...

Pls what size of MPPT Charge controller can I use for a two 590W panel, 3000W inverter, and a 12V 100ah battery setup?

Initially I was planning to use a 30A Felicity MPPT charge controller but I was told it will be too small for the two 590W.

i will be very happy if i can see solution because nah me tell the person that he should go for lithium battery and i also dont know much about it because nah tubular battery i they used
Enter Google with ur smartphone, search for the user manual of the inverter/charge controller. Click download on any available search result that match ur device. Good luck.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Halt Importation Of Solar Panels by cutefy: 4:03pm On Mar 26, 2025
HenryWilliams:
This is the reason why they want to ban the importation.
More and more residences and business are going fully or partially solar, removing themselves from the Grid. Ordinarily this should be good news to The DISCOs as demand is low..however due to their gross inefficiency, estimated billing is their bread and butter , so with more people off the grid, lesser revenue is being made.
By the time 30% of their customers are on Solar, demand for power is low, and their revenue plummet that's why they're rushing to FG to save them from Solar
They once tried to introduce a form of informal tax on residences with Solar installation, going from house to house searching for Solar panel installation and serving them loss of revenue notice..the reaction they got from people put paid to that
So this is how they intend to keep us in darkness..
Ban the importation and stifle the market.
They know local production can never match demand in a million years..and definitely inferior products at inflated costs..another rice dilemma.
You're right bro...
