Google's Android OS is an open platform which means that it is free to use as long as you didn't alter their custom and claim it is yours. Now, you have no problems with other phone makers based on android too as long as you didn't use any of their self developed softwares. Almost all Chinese tabs use Google stock rom. I am sure you have no problem to customise your names on it. But if your manufacturer employed other companies patented hardwares or custom softwares, then you are in soup.
