hope my order will arrive today? |
NaijaHotGuy: no ooo... anyway pls do u know if the package will get delivered right at my doorstep or i will have to be on another thing before getting itYes, dhl will deliver to your doorstep except if you are in a very remote area. Make sure you provide your exact address. |
Tonjeola1: Can you pay with western union from naija? You can only receive in Nigeria. I don't know if that has changed anyways. |
NaijaHotGuy: ALIEXPRESS: Our Buyer Protection ONLY protects Payment Methods on AliExpress as below:ok, I thought the seller wants you to pay directly. which ever payment method u decide to use, PAY ONLY TO ALI DIRECTLY not the sellers |
NaijaHotGuy: 1)@BIZBLOKE, a friend of mine in my workplace decided to get the jiayu with me. now as u said, uve suspended importing phones for now..but i decided to get it through the means of importing the phone available on its aliexpress page which is DHL. pls let me know if its okay to go ahead cos of the battery issues and anything else and i intend to pay thru WESTERN UNION. and when it arrive do i need to pay some import duty whatever whatever or will it be right at my doorstep just like that...never pay via western union on aliexpress. pay with your mastercard, it is safer because of the escrow service involved. Ordinarily, you dont need to pay import duties when you use dhl except if you order in large quantities. |

From my knowledge of the Bible, i will conclude that taking alcoholic drinks is not bad, but getting drunk is highly condemned. Read these passage carefully Deuteronomy 14:25-26 (CEB) 25 then you can convert it to money. Take the money with you and go to the location the LORD your God selects. 26 Then you can use the money for anything you want: cattle sheep, wine, beer, or whatever else you might like. Then you should feast there and celebrate in the presence of the LORD your God. I even heard that the Catholic's holy communium contains a little alcohol. |
This is why I said I prefer option 1 because this can easily turn DIYIG into a corporation. But yet, I understand why option 2 may be preferred because it is easy to set up. But we can start with option 2 evolved into 1 as time goes on. Wizeboy: This is my own little suggestion on this issue based on the people's suggestion I have read so far here. |
Option 1 (Capital and Profit share option) The whole work is centered on 1. Research 2. Importation 3. Marketing. Now, I observed that so many old and new usernames in DIYIG are springing up interest in this JV. Good. It shows that people are ready to put in their money for a good return. But not everybody have the time, the import knowledge and the market sense. That is why JV will be beneficial to all. Like I said before, starting with one product is advised. More may be introduced as time goes on. Option 2. (Quantity share option) In this case, interested persons will contribute and order in large quantities, and then divide the goods on arrival. But marketing will have to be done individually. This option is very easy to set up state by state according to preferred products by partners. My take: I prefer option 1 because this can easily turn DIYIG into a corporation. But I've seen that some people including our Oga El Matteo also opt in for option 2. Maybe we should start with option 2 then. |
cuteng: Please house, if any one of you need an e-commerce site (online store) to market/sell your imported products, with online ATM card payment integration, send an email to me here missycuteng@yahoo.com.hk or bb 25A75CB0Why don't you just drop the info here. |
Now I think the first discussion should be what to import which of the products has a good margin Which one has a ready market Who are the target consumers I will suggest to start with just one product at first. Just one. |
Cyprian213: pls guys, i paid for some products yesterday on aliexpress with my zenith master card. the shipping is through china post air. what else should i do?Wait till about 8 days then start tracking your order. |
Yup... Listed products: mini-washing machine tablets solar lamps what other products do you know of?
for some reasons,I prefer IT stuffs. even those that just got the galaxy s3 now want the s4. customers always keep coming back as an new products emerge. formulate a good marketable specs and get manufactures from alibaba to submit a quote. infact, you may take bamatel and even techno as compititors as time goes on. FIRST:the consensus leaders should draft a business plan. start planning as soon as possible. Eni to yara logun n gbe. |
Just seeing a great idea once more on this thread come alive. Pull resources together and gain the market. My advice. Gather as many people as possible to deposit a total sum sufficient enough to procure about 200 tabs. And ask the manufacturer to brand it. Say "NairaTab", NairaPad" Set aside some money for aggressive advertising even on nairaland ads. Create a Facebook page for the brand and also use Facebook ads. Arrange a delivery team in few states. Make it transparent enough. The sky is just the beginning. |

It is true, see it here : www.page1magazine.net/2013/07/actress-funke-akindeles-1-year-marriage-to-kehinde-oloyede-ends/ |
www.page1magazine.net/2013/07/actress-funke-akindeles-1-year-marriage-to-kehinde-oloyede-ends/ Unfortunately this is not rumour, it’s fact. A little over a year after tying the knot with Kehinde Oloyede, Funke Akindele’s marriage has ended. Kehinde Oloyede shared the news of their split on his Facebook page (which he has since deleted). He wrote: “It’s with heavy heart that am announcing the separation of me nd ma wife Mrs olufunke akindele,we’ve both agreed to go our separate ways coz of irreconcilable differences.we still best of friends nd we 4ever remain gud friends. Later he added… “Am doing just fine, gettn along without u,don’t need u anymore in ma life.u d greatest mistake av made in recent time. I reached out to Funke’s publicist (the person I know to be her publicist…I hear there’s another one now) after reading the Facebook message, and they confirmed that the two have indeed gone their separate ways. They’ve actually been having issues for a while and Funke had actually been planning to divorce him quietly, but Mr Oloyede decided to make it public. Funke also recently changed her BB name from Mrs Funke Akindele Oloyede to Everybody loves Jenifa. Funke and Kehinde got married on Saturday May 26th 2012. Erg2000: China is just wasting its money, cos FG will simply embezzle it as they've always embezzled. If i may ask..., if not because of corruption, how much could china lend us here that we do not have? Dem go one day chop chop untill they chop their ground children!!!. Visionless individuals!am sure you didnt read this article. please read the summary here. 1. chinese govt. will borrow FG $3B at 3% interest for 15-20 years 2. they chinese govt will award the contract to the chinese firms and pay them directly. 3.read the OP again, read slowly this time. |
The basic questions in all these is not been asked, having it at the back of our minds that corruption is a global disease, you will be suprised that the Chinese are equally as corrupt as Nigerians. 1. How are these projects going to be monitored? Since the Chinese companies are going to receive their money directly from their government. I'm also sure their interest will be protected no matter what. 2. What stops these companies cutting corners and using substandard materials with a lot of cosmetic dressing? We all know china as the home of substandard products, and when it comes to maximising profits, the Chinese are the worst of the lot. 3. What stops them ripping us off as our government has actually sold us off to them? These are questions begging for answers!
ok nice point. but i think the chinese will be reasonable enough to make good buildings because if they fail at this, they may never get a second chance. note: chinese dont make substandard produts. my apple macbook was made in china, bought it since 2008 or so. like my supplier used to say, Good Money, Good Products. |
I think this is a welcomed development. 1. the loans are long term with only about 3 percent interest compared with what sanusi/okonjo iwela does. (cbn/min.fin. lends out at 5-7% and they go out and re-borrow at 13-15%) mad people. 2. the loans go directly to the chinese companies. so we can be assured of a completed project. not so many completed projects in nigeria because politicians are always involved. 3. it will open doors for more chinese companies to invest in nigeria. believe me, we will benefit more on the long run. 4. it will bypass the ogas at the top, so no cutting of shares in this one. corrruption checked. |
Why won't 130k be enough for a single person for a month? Cashiers and tellers at the bank rarely collect such. Tell her to save a compulsory 30k monthly. Spend 15k on cards, electricity, fuel Spend 15k on house rent. Spend 20k on hair (my wife loves her hair gan, somethings she spends more on it monthly) Spend 10k on creams and perfumes Spend 30k on food Keep 10k for unexpected expenses. Please make adjustment to pay your tithe o. |
