Agriculture / Re: Is It Time To Embrace GMO Food? by CyberHustle: 9:20am On Apr 06
BigBashiru:

Foolish westernised man. If I check well you are in a western country or have lived in a western country. I have seen many children from so many poor backgrounds grow to become millionaires.

This your foolish advice is why population in the west is declining. A couple that borns just 2 is just replacing themselves and so population will decline.

Recently last month the president of the Russian federation reiterated a large nuclear family should be the norm in Russia because birth rate is a national security issue.

The population of western europe now isn't more than 200 million in 2024 while that of Africa is about 1.2 billion. Guess what? Africa is more powerful now based on population alone! Africa can't be easily colonized or subjugated and territorial integrity is assured. Not to talk of all the talents the children bring into the world.
I laughed hard at this comment. Who will feed the talented hands if their talent is not about survival?

There is no way something we complain about almost never having can have such huge impact. It sounds like cheap politics to me.
Business / Re: Cadbury Nigeria Reports N28.2billion Loss In 2023, Shareholders’ Funds Wiped Out by CyberHustle: 2:48am On Apr 03
Faiththatworks:
I believe this headline about companies making losses are misleading.
These companies are making massive revenues with marginal increases in expenditure, but when it's time to declare dividend, they bring up this loss abracadabra.
This loss they are basically declaring is from their exposure to foreign debts, these companies secured foreign loans in the cause of doing their business, but now that it's time to repay, the exchange rate has now ballooned.
These companies should be more open on where their losses are coming from and stop this facade that the Nigerian Economy is in massive depression, their losses is not because the Economy is bleeding, but because of their exposure to foreign loans.
God bless Nigeria.....
You believe.. and that settles it all.

So how do I take it up from here?

I am thinking of ordering them to an agent in China. Can you assist with that? What's your rate?

Myzubby:
quantity?
20 units.

I actually need much more than that, but like to start small so I can test what I am getting.

Please grab the screenshot with the price so i can confirm we are on same page.

Is it just me, or has free shipping actually ended on AliExpress?
All the tiny items with free shipping I was gathering to order suddenly have minimum of $2-$3 dollars as shipping fee. What is happening?
If the item has welcome deal tag, it means you can only. Buy one of the items carrying that tag. Items carrying that tag is usually very cheap, but once you select more than one of such items, they revert to their original prices. I don't know if yours carry the welcome deal tags but I have seen such before.

help by assuming what I didn't ask for then talking down on me as if they are already experts in virtualization tech. Helpers are naturally more intelligent than to be assuming issues are within the narrow scope of knowledge. I am not a tech slowpoke. You guys just spoiled a thread you have no contribution whatsoever for.

Actually you guys didn't ask enough question he mentioned emulator, he never said for development purposes, some of us install emulator to play PuBG mobile and CODM

OP use Bluestack or Tencent
Thank you so much. That's how they end up as failures. They assumed for me and are too arrogant to retract or retrace their steps.
I already knew of the above mentioned options but needed extra hints like which is stable, lightweight, has networking capabilities, allows language customization etc.
I already installed some and discovered some flaws.
Some came with android 4 OS.
Another cam e with Android 12 but crashes.
Some have easy to use shared folders that allow transfer of files into the virtual environment easily.

So why did you post in programming section?
there is no virtualization section on Nairaland.
To show how stupid and arrogant people can be, you haven't been able to contribute meaningfully after four days of this topic. You are still trying to prove your superiority.
Too many but cases here.

It is you who can't answer simple question or keep shut when clueless. Just because I asked for "help", as you like to call it, doesn't make me at the mercy of senseless and mannerless children loitering this section like your are.

At least he has a plan he is willing to present to the people.
How will he get to the poor without going through the rich and have them hijack the aid again?

APK in windows without emulator?
So many nut cases here. I need emulator and never said it is for development of app or anything related to softwares.

Gamers use it to play android games a lot. Development isn't the only use of android emulators.

No sensible answer after thee days.

You are funny man and it seems you are newbie to Android development or not well inform. Let me tell you the truth, if you're serious about learning Android development then you have to get yourself at least 8GB RAM 256SSD ROM core i5 3rd Generation even this will still struggling sometimes especially if you install emulator on it. The best option is to get a laptop of 16GB RAM 256 SSD ROM core i5 7th generation for smooth learning experience.
Thanks. You forgot to tell me a good emulator. I still need one.

From what I have been hearing about Tinubu, he appoints knowledgeable technocrats and not just anyone. One thing that i observe is that the ministers may have excelled in learning and have climbed the career ladder, they can be deeply flawed in morals & character and need supervision.

Dangote can't sell it cheap. If he does, marketers will take it to neighboring countries and resell for the higher price Dangote refused to sell for. He has made the local refineries sit tight at least.
