You're right. I stream on TV and hardly use terrestrial or satellite TV services. On my phone, I downloaded and use Televizo, an IPTV streaming app, with which I'm able to access all the major national and international TV channels (see photos).
I can watch HBO, Hallmark, MBC2, MBC Action, MBC Max, National Geographic, etc. Once you have the M3U playlist containing the channels or you have the specific channel's streaming url, you're good to go.
