I beg to differ. Tax Associates at Deloitte typically have Acccounting or Economics backgrounds, unlike other departments like Audit for example. You had a major stint at Deloitte; you should know this. Anyone who doubts this can briefly peruse profiles of Tax Associates at Deloitte on LinkedIn, and tell me what he/she deduces.

However, this shouldn't discourage anyone with disparate background from applying. I'm an engineer, and I sent in my application as well. Just incase lol!

do they really deserve the pay?However, should Messi be paid more than a nurse or a firefighter or a journalist? Okay, so perhaps he deserves to pick up a slightly bigger pay packet than a hack journo, but what about the other two, whose job is it to keep people alive? Shouldn’t ensuring others’ survival be worth more than running round a football pitch every few days? Don’t they and others deserve to be paid somewhere nearer Messi’s multi-million salary?

What about proffessors who spend years on research?

@cynt22 I also applied for sales and I had my phone interview on the 14th this month the same day you did yours but I haven't gotten my invite yet. The lady said she will get back to me in two weeks time, so am surprised u guys hav been contacted.
