chikasin4: DearBunmi, My problem is my husband. Before we got married, he was very descent and a gentleman. Since we got married, however, he has turned into what can best be described as an animal. He likes to have sexual intercourse in unusual and perverted ways. Although we have a comfortable bed, he likes to lay me on a hard floor. He asked me to suck him. I want to please him in this, but the thing is so large, it always makes me choky. I never asked him to do anything abnormal so why has he turned into someone I now fear? It has got to a point where I hate making love to him. I have even thought of running away. Uche, by e-mail.
Dear Uche, Why don’t you tell your husband how you feel about his sexual demands? They are not as abnormal as you think, but you have to enjoy doing them together to make it fulfilling. Discuss the techniques you particularly fancy with him and try and meet his needs half-way too. Now that you are married, you don’t expect him to be as cautious as when you were courting. But he needs to ease you into demands you both feel comfortable with. Don’t run away from perceived problems only to be confronted by real sexual perverts!

Career / Re: Welders Forum by cyprel(m): 12:27pm On Oct 27, 2014 |
Underwater welding is a technique that is employed in various marine engineering projects, wherein welding is carried out under the surface of the water. Underwater welding is generally performed on steel, and needs special diving skills on the part of the welder. The functions of an underwater welder include repairing pipelines, offshore oil platforms, ships, and other structures, which are submerged under the water. Considering that taking the entire structures out of water in order to repair them, is not only a herculean task, but also a very expensive one, it seems rather advisable to work on such structures, keeping them in situ. Underwater welding reduces the cost of the company by directly mending the damages under the water, thus saving time and a lot of money. The repairing is done by specialized welders, trained for the job. Underwater welding can be divided into two main types - dry welding and wet welding. Both these, come under the category of 'hyperbaric welding, a high pressure welding method. In dry underwater welding, the area which is supposed to be mended is enclosed in a chamber and the water is completely pumped out from that area. The underwater welder, then, performs his repairing work inside this specially prepared chamber, which is totally dry even though it is under the water. Wet welding, on the other hand, takes place in a setting which is completely wet.
Underwater Welding Death
an average death rate of 13-17%, this occupation could be considered one of the most deadly out there. An average of 30 out of 200 welders dies on the job.
Dangers on the Job
1. Danger of Electric Shock Electrocution can occur under water when equipment that is not properly tested for underwater welding is used. All equipment must be well insulted and waterproof electrode connected to it. 2. Possibility of an Explosion Explosion normally occurs with the involvement of hydrogen and oxygen that result in the forming of gas pockets. When these pockets are ignited that can become extremely lethal. 3. Decompression Sickness This is also referred to as divers disease where harmful gases such as nitrogen are inhaled by the diver from moving quickly between a high pressure to low pressure zone. This type of injury can result in rashes, sickness, joint pain, paralysis, or even death. 4. Breakdown of Dental Amalgam This is the result of a metallic taste in your mouth received from the magnetic field created as a secondary current in oral tissues. 5. Musculoskeletal Issues and Hearing Impairment Divers can run the risk of joint pain, muscle stiffness and various hearing impairments. 6. Cognitive Issues This injuries include loss of memory, inability to verbally reason, and more as a result of decompression sickness. 7. Drowning The failure of equipment can result in the diver drowning. 8. Lung, Ear, and Nose Damage This is the result of high pressure being exerted in the underwater environment. 9. Local Marine Animal Encounters Sharks, octopuses, and more can pose a risk and threat to the diver.
The underwater welders are, however, constantly in contact with their team members who are on the surface, in case they need any help. Immediate assistance is provided to them in cases of risks or if they happen to face any kind of trouble under the water. The underwater welders are also provided with sufficient air supply from the standard scuba breathing apparatus. Underwater welding can be a promising career for people, who love adventure and going to virtually inaccessible places. However, proper and adequate training is required in order to ensure the safety of the welder, and also to make sure that nothing goes wrong while the work is in progress and even after it is done. 27 Likes 1 Share |

Champella: Wow! This is a very good thread as there are lots of things to be learnt here.
However, i have a few questions to ask the house.
* How can the health implications of this job be minimized as i believe it is detrimental to one's health and eyes in the long run?
* What skills can be combined with welding to make one more marketable? Most welding facilities (not local) we have these days are well equipped with fumes extractor to minimize the rate of inhaling toxic substances from the weldment and for the eyes issues it depend on individual cos during my training session I never for ones had a sore or arc eye. BTW always use your PPE at all times. for the skill I think what is trending now in d industry is underwater welding though it's risky. My opinion 5 Likes 3 Shares |

JAkpayen: @OP Did you know anything about underwater welding? I graduated from pti and I can tell you they don't run underwater welding rather they run commercial diving(scuba diving I) that runs for a period of 6-8 months for a cost of (153k-sch fees, you will buy all your swimming kits with oxygen and pay for all the excursion(rivers, sometimes sea around delta state and environs) after which you will write an exam at d end of everything that qualify you as a certified diver(that is if you pass)..after being certified as a diver you can proceed by running a one year program in welding to become an underwater welder.. NB: stressful but I bet you it pays off at the end cos most of their graduates(divers) are hot cake cos of the training they are subjected to 5 Likes |
