PoliticsRe: Who Believes The Lie That There Are More People In The North Than In The South? by cyril10(m): 11:48am On Sep 30, 2014
Mr555: Oga take it easy so that frustration should not kill you.
It was not written by OP but Femi Aribisala, OP did copy and paste, I love what the man wrote anyway. The North has been cheating us all these years, it is time we get the correct census.
PoliticsRe: Jesus Christ Appears In British Toilet Room by cyril10(m): 11:19am On Sep 30, 2014
Liability: the last time i check, a drawing was made of muhammed in europe and the northerners in nigeria started killing people mercilessly.

Christianity is truely a religion of peace. Not islam.
Very true.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Commissions Phase I Benin-ore Road by cyril10(m): 2:42pm On Sep 29, 2014
The road from Benin to Ore is very pleasant to drive on, I did enjoy my driving on that road last month. They are working on the road from Ore to Ijebu-ode though a bit slow.

omakay: What is the op trying to do? Paint Port-Harcourt as a nice and modern place?

THAT IS A BIG LIE!!!! IT IS A FAT LIE!!!

Imagine Aba Road being the busiest road in the whole of Port-Harcourt with activities happening both at the left and right axis and all NDDC can think of is to build an air-conditioned bridge in front of it's office. That is very selfish and self-centered of them. The worst thing is that in all of Aba Road, there is no functioning pedestrian bridge and people actually cross the expressway everyday which is a big risk.

Port-Harcourt is a physical example of how greedy, self-centered and wicked we are as Nigerians.

With all the revenue and allocations coming into the state government's pocket, there is nothing to show for it in the city.

Direct that to your performing governor. Don't forget that NDDC is still helping out in the construction of roads and schools in PH.

MuhdG: Thats a good development. Kudos to the gov.
Not the gov but NDDC please.

Bryan12: This is a perfect discription of a white elephant project.Everytime I pass there I regret being a nigerian.
You regret being a Nigerian for that beautiful pedestrian bridge built by NDDC for the comfort of its staff and clients? nawa o, we condemn things we shouldn't have condemned and applaud things we shouldn't have applauded.

PoliticsRe: Confusion As Police Break Into Rivers High Court by cyril10(m): 3:41pm On Sep 23, 2014
20pounds: Is it not the Police that enforce Laws and directves? Does the OP and his paymasters expect militants to enforce laws and directives?

If the Rivers state government refuses to obey order of court and the NJC, it behoves on the Police to restore sanity in the polity. Amaechi and his cohorts cannot hold the Rivers state Judiciary to ransom, while many cases are left unattended to. That would amount to gross injustice to those awaiting trial and others who are constrained by time limit.

Let us learn that no individual is bigger than the state. Justice Daisy Okocha represents an institution and her person or what she stands for ought not to count in this instance. Amaechi is too small to drag the sacred office of the Chief Judge into his 'cry-cry politics'.
Reasonable post, people should stop turning a blind eye to the truth because of their blind support for Amaechi. Amaechi likes trouble a lot .

econity: should i take this writer serious?
I think the answer should be NO.
His write up looks like he is writing for d sake of brown envelope.
Aribisala writing to get paid by PDP since 1999.
Read again and slowly this time to enable you digest what the man wrote, I don't think he is writing for PDP.

nairaman66: You hit the nail more than once on the head! Please give us some clarification to clear the air@OP
Please I am not making this up, it actually happened on my way to Lagos from PH, on my way back too, somebody pointed at my car again, this time I had to ignore the person.
Car TalkRe: My Experience Along Benin- Ore Road by cyril10(op): 4:38pm On Sep 10, 2014
sweettease: Hmmmmm... Even at that you need to learn how to bargain though... How the hell did you spend 113k for something that was not actually faulty when you even know the actual cost?
I actually bargained with them but they got me cheaply because I was with my little kids
Car TalkMy Experience Along Benin- Ore Road by cyril10(op): 4:15pm On Sep 10, 2014
I was on leave in mid August 2014 when I decided to travel to Lagos with my family. Before the leave started, I gave my car to my mechanic to service and to make sure everything is in order before we embark on the journey since I wouldn't want to put my little kids in jeopardy .

On the D-day, we left home early to atleast get to Lagos by 4-5 pm but it was not to be as I eventually fell into the hands of scamming mechanics along Benin-ore road which I later regretted for some time. The journey was very smooth from P/H to the point between Benin and Ore when I unluckily met with evil mechanics and their accomplices, as I was driving, a man on okada (bike) started pointing on my tyre that it is wobbling, I had to quickly stop did I quick turn around to a waiting mechanic that directed me to his shop, when I stopped, I discovered that oil was dripping from my tyre rim, it was later I discovered that they actually splashed oil on the rim but was too late, they have removed my 2 front tyres, removed my hubs to show that they were broken, they called motor parts seller one of the accomplice. The hub that should ordinarily cost 8-10 thousand cost me 40,000 naira each, at the end of it all I ended up wasting 113,000 naira. I have to share my experience here so as to warn people that travel on that route that they should ignore people like that mostly along Agbor- benin and Benin- ore roads.

PoliticsRe: Progress? Monarch Shoots His Own Son For Refusing To Join The APC by cyril10(m): 3:41pm On Aug 14, 2014
size38: The monarch son is a complete liar. His father never shot at him. He claimed his father shot him with no bullet wound to show. Meanwhile he is alive and healthy walking and talking. How can he join in a protest against his own father? He joined other PDP members in his community chanting war song matching towards his father's palace with dangerous weapons. Is he planning to kill his father or what? Last time it OCC and his son Timothy Nsirim, Where his father wrote a petition against him to police commission in R/S and IG of him threatening to kill him. What is really wrong with the people of Rumueme/Rumuepirikom? The bad influence of Nyesom Wike is affecting the youths of this area.
As reported by the Police, the guy was actually shot.
