Romance › Re: Women And Marriage Curse?? by czarr(op): 3:24am On Aug 03, 2015 |
Gurgle: Women lose their ability to have children at a certain age, men do not. So the pressure is automatically on
In the beginning, women get more disapproval for remaining unmarried
But as they age, unmarried men are also looked down upon. A man who has refused to marry, especially a Nigerian, is seen as irresponsible, useless and ultimately a shame to his family
Unmarried people are treated with disdain in general, just that women are the first to face the "heat"
About the "panicking". Women do not like feeling left out, that is just a feature of female relationships.
It can be embarrassing for some women to be the only one from their clique that has not yet tied the knot. Such women can feel like failures because they have not yet secured a fellow. And their friends/ female family members can make comments that set them on edge
Its only a lady who is really sure of themselves and their life that can resist being pained by such incidents enlightening. |

sokunji: Racism Nigerians are naturally racist. Yes I said so. I was at Ikoyi some few weeks back and a chinese man stopped by the road side to buy corn. The corn seller was like ''chinko wetin you wan buy..
How does that statement show racism..abi u don't know the meaning of the word.. Racist /ˈreɪsɪst/ noun a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
Nigeria is one of those few countries in the world where you can get electricity for just five minuites and you'll be satisfied that at least ''NEPA'' brought light today. not satisfied. ..optimistic. .hopeful. ..it would get better. ..UP NEPA!!!
Education One thing I like Nigeria for is that they value education a lot. They even go ahead to say education is the best legacy . But remember, 70% of the most successful people in the world today don't even have a degree to their name.
we also have successfully people here who didn't go to school. ..and pls don't get it twisted, education does not necessarily mean going to school. every successful person had an education. an enlightening experience.
Inferiority complex If you want to be treated like a God, change your skin color to white.
How can you be racist and have inferiority complex?
*walks out of thread. . mtscheeew who says you can't be racist and have inferiority complex? Racism is not just one race feeling superior, it's also discrimination of other races. |

Just wondering, Why men don't put the same importance to marriage like women.
They don't get all panicky or worked up when their mates are getting married, neither do they trick women into marriage.
In fact they feel more pity rather than jealousy for fellow guys getting married.
WHY?

Raiden: I have had that thought a thousand times and av come to admit that whenever it comes I accept it. No fear, no regrets only the pain of the loved ones we live behind.
That's why you have to work hard to make sure you don't leave them with too much responsibilities when you die. If ur married show ur wife all she needs to know, work hard and set things in motion to take care of your loved ones when if you die suddenly. true |
