veave:Please, can you expantiate? |
Dannyset:Sorry about that sir, I didn't see it from that angle. You know when I saw "are you picture?" I was like wtf? But now that you cleared the air, I think I understood now. Hope sey you no vex sha? Btw, you knew me from the literature section? |
Dannyset:You typed this with your eyes close or what? |
Kororugged:Nice one there. Well, the point I raised is not about Newspapers or magazines, the issue is non Nigerians predicting our election results. So if you'll please remove the newspaper or magazine part and focus on the real issue. |
Kororugged:No o. Its headquarters is actually in Ikorodu, Lagos abi Kano state. Brooking institute is US based. |
Well, he could have said that and remember, he is human. That must have been a mistake. How possible is it for someone who said he will create jobs go on to say he will create employment? And you are talking about your future as if it is a president that guarantee you a bright future. The other day, Gov Sule Lamido was addressing the crowd and instead of saying Jonathan's campaign group he said Buhari which he corrected immediately. No one is above mistake. Even the op can not dispute the fact that he makes some mistakes at times that are unheard of. |
Kororugged:There was a certain Brookings. A US think-tank who predicted GEJ's victory. |
A good one there Mr Atiku. I think this man should teach Lai Muhammed how to talk in public. Atiku displaying maturity since birth. Even when he shared dollars, it was done maturely. |
APC e-warriors and the kind of life they live. In the past weeks, foreign newspapers and magazines who predicted GEJ's victory, I remember the responses that the APC members gave. They said some foreigners can't sit down in their country and predict our election which they are not going to be a part of. So what do we say now? The APC members are rejoicing with this news. |
Thronekid, what's going on? This thread is not moving, why? By the way, send me your mail adress. My mail is there in my signature. |
Me I don't understand. What was the voting exercise based on? Choice or competence? Does it mean that Buhari voting for a man from Niger shows him as a tribalist? Someone please enlighten me. And if you want to curse me, use a different curse and not the normal one you use on Buhari's supporters cos I am not his supporter. |
I wonder why some set of people see truth and decides to ignore it by believing lies. Buhari is incorruptible, we know it and from people's comment on Nairaland, he is the only Nigerian who is honest and incorruptible, everyone else is corrupt, even his supporters. The thing men do to paint a good picture of their employer. I am not disputing the fact that MKO Abiola wasn't the owner of Concord newspapers, but when these things were published, did NANS come out to debunk it that their members were not detained? Did the doctors come out to debunk it that they were not locked up? If we are discussing issues like this, lets not be bias, admitting that Buhari did all these things doesn't mean people won't vote for him. I as a person believed in change, 1985 to 2015 is a very long time and if you ask me, I believe he could have changed from that dictator to a democrat and the same way he could have changed from incorruptible to being corrupt. That's change for you. I am not ashamed to admit that I love Jonathan, I am entitled to my own opinion. The country is being misruled but at the same time, I still want him to continue, you never can tell. But hey! I am not campaigning for Mr President. I have seen some TAN members here who have openly admitted that Jonathan has failed, they admit it when he makes mistakes, his past dealings and all other stuffs. But APC members, tell them Buhari is a man, they'll call you names, whereas they knew within them that Buhari is a man, but to admit it openly is a problem. And I think their problem is the fear of the unknown. APC wants to wrest power from PDP and as a result they are presenting themselves as saints who doesn't make mistakes so people can vote for them. From the APC e-warriors on Nairaland, you'll ask yourself, what is the difference between Jesus and Buhari and you'll see that there is non except that Jesus is a Jew and Buhari is a Fulani. Even Jesus christ broke the Jewish laws, tho he backed it up with convincing claims, but Buhari has never gone against the law. Everything he does is right. I know that the likes of Barcanista, Omenke, Berem will come here and tell us Buhari hasn't eaten today cos he loves Nigeria. A few weeks to election while on January 23 2012, Buhari ate cos it was not election period and not because he hated Nigeria. Lets face the fact, there are propagandas and in every nonsense, there is always sense cos nonsense ends with sense. There are elements of truth in these propagandas, but as a result of their desperation for power, they see it as nothing. Nigeria will only be better if a leader emerged whose good sides and bad sides we know, that way, we will know what to expect and the people with the help of the media can let him know somethings. Jonathan is the worst president ever, we know. He is clueless, we know. But at least, he admitted that he had failed us, and he is coming back to make things right according to him, but Buhari is always on the good side. I know some people here will say that Buhari was never a dictator or he ruled without tribal sentiments or judged corrupt politicians without sentiments. We know he is not a religious bigot and even if I don't like him, I know he has no plans of islamizing Nigeria. Things can only get better. I know people will castigate me cos of this. I don't mind, your comments will only increase my mentions. Ama just ignore you. |
susrite:Sorry jare my brother. I won't do that again. |
WisdomFlakes:Well, I quite agree with you on this, but I don't believe only a millitary man or an ex-officer can help us during this period. Have you ever thought that if these former officers after retirement, they didn't join any political party, are we going to be government-less? A civillian can do it, just the way an ex-officer will do it. The only difference is that, a civillian president will depend on strategies from his advicers who in this case were former officers and a millitary president doesn't necessarily need advice from anybody to crush terrorism. All in all, the two government will achieve greatness whichever ways. And just wht you said up there, Jonathan is too nice to be a president. |
KHAYGOLD:Listen to yourself |
If GEJ were to be in Buhari's shoes, am sure APC supporters will call for him to be sent to exile maybe to Burundi or Cotonou. Or better still, they'll call for his death. |
WisdomFlakes:You and I know that your course of study has nothing to do with your leadership abilities. How many political scientists are actively in the present day politics in Nigeria? If Jonathan a zoologist should go back to the zoo because we Nigerians are not animals, then all medical doctors turned politicians should go back to the hospital cos we Nigerians are not sick, Engineers should return to their fields and allow political scientists take over the mantle of leadership. Until that time when leaders educated in the political line rule in Nigeria, I don't see Nigeria becoming any better. |
And you invited me here. Walahi, op, you are wicked o. Anyways lemme go and listen to some Hon. Patrick Obehiagbon (abi wetin be his name sef) interviews and presentation while he was a lawmaker. These words are nothing in the sight of LarrySun. He'll give meanings to them all. |
And dbanj is broke. Oga Titus, are you really broke? |
hamzatseyi:Thanks bro. But I don't think you weren't mentioned. Check your mentions. |
Mogidi:Hairdressing as a course? But shey na only science dem teach PEJ ni, she no offer English Language? |
kristen12:Definitely, we'll meet again. And sorry, I didn't mention you. You are also an integral part of d9ty7 stories. Mush love my sister. |
And if anyone feels like I want to talk to d9ty7 one on one, you can add me up on whatsapp via 08166920449. There is also a whatsapp group for everybody that at one point followed All in a circle, Tecno4life is in charge of that. My level of activeness on the literature section will reduce as from now till when I start a new story. I'll launch my blog in before the end of January and put a story up for your reading pleasure. But we can always talk on whatsapp. Gracias. I hope Hameenat94 will find time to finish this story. |
lauda:Na you o. You are my source of inspiration apart from God. |
What about we who want to vote for Kowa party? Must it be APC and PDP alone? |
prettyjo:Listen to yourself. Is Buhari a other people? By all standard, everything that involves Buhari involves the country. He is a former head of state, he is contesting for the presidency. When Jonathan said stealing is not corruption, what did you do? Is he not entitled to his own opinions even if they are stupid? But the fact that he is a leader, a president, everyone is talking about it. Buhari is not just some anybody in this country. The was people will talk about you is different from the way people will talk about Buhari. Shey you get? |
kingphilip:No one is forgetting anybody. We all are making it to the top. We all are going places. |
