All I am saying is that phone gamers aren't real gamers like consoles or pc gamers. Phone games can't compare with console games especially giving that a phone has no physical buttons like a controller and don't even make me laugh about all those 20 mins level based games on mobiles. You're lucky there's a function still allow you view pictures. From Android 6(Marshmallow), USB mass storage was disabled, meaning your TV won't view your phone as a true storage device. If its a smart TV, your best bet is to use the cast function or if it isn't a smart TV. Get a cast dongle(miracast Eg) or a USB equivalent.. Much cheaper

Yes! To install Gcam, what you'll need do is to add a certain line of code to your build.prop. You can do this manually by editing from a file manager but you'll need root access to do this. The only way to proceed without root is to flash with twrp(cam2api) zip or you flash through Adb while your phone is in fastboot.
