I attribute his unimpressive performances largely to the tactical approaches the coach has employed. Probably we have not played to his strength or haven't seen the need to I guess.

And with the invitation-by-club performance posture of Rohr, I think Onuachu would not lack the opportunities to prove himself in the national team in future.

I'm overjoyed by the rise of Victor Osimhen. I spent hours following Amunike's team's buildup to the tournaments (AFCON and WC) and had to stay awake watching all seven matches.
Also credit to Gernot Rohr for building a platform for our players to excel abroad based on national team invitation by club performance.
Gone are the days when lousy players and benchwarmers donned the national colours with strut and swagger. Some even had the illusion that national shirts were their birthrights.

I think most people want Nwakali to succeed not based on some sort of bias but based expressly on patriotism. Since 1985, there has been this attachment Nigerians have developed for the U-17 team with the accompanying desire to see all its products succeed by playing key roles in the senior team.
There are some set skills lacking in the Super Eagles: corner kicks, free kicks can win games and Nwakali has them. But first he needs to focus and get his career up and running and the rest would be history.

With a good DM in the eagles, I would experiment Ndidi in the CM. Dude controls the midfield like a veteran

I guess that would still make us more defensive . Rather we need more central attacking midfielders who can control the game and provide more goals from the midfield.
You are quite right on Ndidi now being able to control the game and trade a wide range of delightful passes. His market value will definitely be on the up.

De Gea's goalkeeping woes continue... spilling an easy ball from Iheanacho. Vardy was a second too late otherwise United would've been one down.

Good morning forumites. I guess you are all having a blissful weekend. I am an ardent supporter of the super eagles and all other Nigerian national teams; a thoroughbred football enthusiast and an avid reader of this thread since it was created.
I believe it's high time I joined the discussion proper, to improve my knowledge and also contribute my quota to the growth of Nigerian football.
