Here's another brilliant effort from SHORTY ACE a.k.a Bembs. This single
showcases brilliant lyrical prowess, wordplay and remarkable finesse.
SHORTY ACE on a dope beat produced by DJ PEEWEE, takes us on a mind trip to
a neighborhood known for it's class, beautiful women, leisure and beautiful
scenery,  MIAMI in Florida and LEKKI in Eti - Osa Local Government area of
Nigeria. These spots popular for their water side and the crowd it brings,
is metaphored here as the after work lounging kinda life.

Playfully throwing jabs and coveting fans, SHORTY ACE, always, gee'd up
from the feet up, with his unique and almost laid back kinda flow, traps
brilliant minds and gently takes them on cruises through his lifestyle.
MIAMI MUSIC mixed by GEE REIGNS shows BEMBS as one Emcee you'll keep having
on your playlist.

*DISCOGRAPHY*

Popular for crossing enemy lines trying to find Glory, Confidence Okey
a.k.a Shorty Ace, was born June the 13th, to an Engineer/Educator/Poet
father and a teacher mother who is a strict disciplinarian. Developed a
skill for Rap in Omole grammar school. Joined the Choir one Sunday at
Church but got kicked out for making jokes and teasing other Choristers.

Influenced by his Elder Brother - Chilly, who nicknamed him Shorty. His
brother brought home tracks from Ice cube, Dre, Easy E, Daz Efx and the
likes. Confidence spent most of his time reciting rhymes from Snoop Dogg,
2pac, Notorious B.I.G, Junior and Pretty, Mase and so on. In 1998, he
formed a rap group called Bad Bonez (Blessed and Designated Breed of
Niggaz, Ever Zealous) along wit Big Khaleef and Chedda. He later changed
the group name to Hoodstars in 2004. They went on to perform at most street
carnivals within Ogba in Lagos, between 1998 and 2000.

He gained admission into Babcock University to study Computer Information
Systems in 2000.  He then linked up with Scolly MacGreen and got affiliated
with the 5th Ave Gang. In University he spent leisure time battling M.C's
and recorded tracks with Scolly, Phizzle, Ain Mosni (formerly known as
Rogueman), Demphis and super producer JRS. Served his fatherland in Yobe
and got a job wit a Bank (names witheld) as a Network Engineer in 2006. He
recorded his first ever solo project in 2008. Till date a dozen tracks have
been recorded but never released.Known by aliases such as Lucky Lefty, The
Lieutenant and Bembs (short for Bembele which is the most notable).

Regardless of his 9 - 5, his passion for the hip hop culture and rap music
keeps him going to the studio every other weekend. If you don't find him in
a suit at work winking at the Boss' secretary, you can find him posted on
the blocks of Oluwole Estate in Ogba, late evening rapping and kicking it
with T Kash, Cwitch and a host of others. "I am Hip Hop, " he says.

Music/RadioFresh: Beef - Dagrin Diss Track. by dabreeze(op): 12:37pm On Dec 31, 2009
Ok so it's christmas eve. I'm here strolling on a sidewalk in ma area, phone in hand, punching a not so tiny Qwerty keypad.
Oh yes, I tweet and walk,  some new craze I developed recently, (Nah, I ain't scared of gerrin' robbed, I'm that very rare prophet who's respected in his hometown, )

A DM (Direct Message) comes in.

"Were! Where u dey? Heard tha latest? Seems like ur boy has a run in wiv' DaGrin." It says.

I reply.

"Who? You? DaGrin ke? Werin happen?"

The idiot responds.

"Me ke? I be rapper? Itz Dampte jor! He did a diss track for DaGrin! Premiering tommorrow. Crazy ass xmas gift! Yeah?"

Ok now I walked straight into a joint across the street, sat down and typed.

"E be laik jedi-jedi don leave ur yansh affect ur mouth. Na wia u hear dat one? Aw Dampte go do somtin e no go tell me? Were!"

I pressed tha homepage button and speed-dialled Dampte's number,

Ring, Ring, Ring,  "Yo Breezi!, " He picks up.

"Sup D? Na wa to u mehn, U do diss track for DaGrin, u no tell me. Werin apun sef? Una two don get beef?"

"No comment." Dampte responds.

"Emi? No comment? I resemble press?" I retorted.

"Haha! If you're still the owner of Yeepa! Online Magazine, yes, you're press." He said.

", er, ok email me the track nah make I follow hear too nah?" I begged.

"Itz obvious you haven't been reading your emails Brova. I sent it already,  bloody ass twitter addict!" He said as he ended the call.

**Several minutes later**

I'm laughing listening to this really loud music in ma room. A few other people join me.

More laughter.

i wanto urge every music section members to ignore or turn a deaf ear to every word tosinadeda says. he always has something bad to say about something good.

how can u say u gbadun pesin lyrics and u call him boring>? how da heck did u get to listen carefully when he's boring?

i dn knw u as a joke already, u too like to dey argue even if u knw u r wrong!

after u go call am opinion!

i dn sabi u wella now! i no go dey argue with u! n i hope everyone will do that too!

as for mode nine hypers yea modenine is good, but this is naija, an average nigerian wants to dance not recieve a lecture and crack metaphors through audio lol.

we have very few hip hop listeners, and he will only sound good to those guys.

as for me, i have no problem with modenine, he makes sense to me. so does rugged and M.I minus sauce, afrikankngs and co. lol!

i hope to hear his new album soon, and i hope rugged man shows what he's made off, betterstill he should retire like a coward.

i dey feel spartan, and i heard some neck-braking, bone-cracking reviews about mODE'S punchlines lol!

me sef dey doubt if rugged man fit match mode!

i hope this beef thing continues, i think it bring out the best out of them artists!

i will not take any side unless M.I is involved, which i think he is itching to be lol!
Hmm, Lets see what Yeepa! can do about that,

@TosinAdeda: Namesake mi? Ki lon Poppin', ? You're everywhere man! lolz.
@Afriknkings: Sumin's wrong witchu u! Wuh is wrong witchu? Wuh r u dwoin'?? [Ok u jus' had ma attention, I said ur names, now u're popular lolz! Pun Intended!!]
@All: YEAH I HAD EXCLUSIVE LISTENS TO THA ALBUM, ITZ GR8, I aint tryin' ta sound biased here, Lets all wait for responses from Tha Rugged Individual, Maybe I might get one from him soon,

Yeepa!: What's the latest on the beef between you and Mode-9? A pretty good listen to 'Warning' on Dj Jimmy Jatt's compilation 'The definition' shows he was referring to you. Is 'Warning shots' a response?

Sauce KiD: The latest is that Mode-9 does what he does - whatever that is. And I’m Sauce kid, and I vowed to take Nigerian music to another length in Omoge wa jo, and since then, I haven’t lost my step. I’m here to make history. When I did warning shots, mode-9's name didn’t come up. I don’t have a problem with mentioning names as u may know already. Mode-9 does not bother what I’m doing. I don’t listen to mode-9 music, although I must admit, talking to you was a good track. Banky W blessed that song. That’s all. You should be asking Ghetto P about Mode-9 by the way. They've had run ins, I’ve never had a run in with mode-9. Whenever it happens, I’mma do what I gotta do. I’m my own man! Shikenah!

From d crap ass website.this can dey make me loose my,
, LOLZ, Crap Ass website?? I bet Yo momma loves it jor jor! lolz, Ok, lets git ur lame ass popular,
Yeepa!: What have you ever achieved in your life mR. , erm, whatz that stupid name? Hater?
Ok, I'mma try and stay objective here, Naah! Bleep it! You jus' a lame Assfucka who's so bummed at tha fact that he couldn't do what serious Cash Money Fly Ass Naija Blooded Blokes like us do. We get in Dude, Itz wuh we do! Gbam!
