If you are sure h installed the right drivers and atill the no sound then it might be a hardware problem
Make sure the driver is the right on if not it will not work.

I preserved the bb with a ipsw i cook with redsn0w.
The device was on 4.33 when i first upgraded it to ios5 and jailbroke it last year no problem. He came to me last friday and the iphone was at the activation screen and was rebooting by itself. He said he was on facebook and suddennly his phone just went off, when he reboot the phone it was showing him the connect to itunes screen.
I tot restoring and rejailbreaking will fix the problem but it didnt.
The wifi suddenly started working but it still restarts and the battery drains so fast

Tumababa pls i need your advise; i upgraded my friends 3gs to ios 5.01, it was showing activation required but after jailbreaking it, it no longer asked for activation. But the problem now is that it can't get any nework and wifi is also disabled. The phone keeps restarting and takes upto 3mins to boot.

SIRIPORT used to enable siri on iphone4,ipod4,iphone3GS,not sure of d other devices but it works on my iphone4 after 3days of trying to activate it. Its really frustrating but i think once it connects, u are in.


Also jist purchased AIRBLUE for transferring files from iphone to any device. Tested btw 2 iphones and worked fine.
