Why I hate obi?
I don't hate obi, I just don't see anything special with obi , this dude was in PDP just months ago ooo

One of the reasons i will never support obi is because of his obedient followers
You guys feel and think, only your choice and opinion matters, every other person is a fool

If there's no APC today, I will vote nnpp, and if there's no nnpp, I will vote apga and if we don't have apga, I will vote ADC or any unknown party just to spite obedients, for that reason
Many northerners that were not into BAT project after the primaries, are now supporting him because of obedients
So you see, his main opponents are his supporters
Was Judas no a disciple? Why did he betray Jesus? Being a member of a group doesn't totally mean you are the group.

It's mindset thing. The anxiety and over thinking of the outcome. Go and hang out with her, get high and take her home. The highness will take away the anxiety. Thank me later. You are very okay

This Ekiti election was an opportunity for Pandora to make his presence known as a contender in the coming presidential election. Of course, LP can't win in Ekiti, but the campaign will create awareness. But na lie!

Their Agent is on Twitter.

The campaign is on Twitter.

Their noise ends on Twitter.

Una go collect am hard February 2023.

May we not labour in vain!
Unfortunate fools that are suffering and go to bed most night in an empty stomach are here. Add another 8 years to your current age... That's lost year's in your life.

Sadly for the so called diplomat, he's not q Nigerian and he's not running for anything in Nigeria.

Siemens is already in Nigeria doing similar to what they did in Egypt and the German president that negotiated the deal and the Nigerian government did not go to Egypt to learn anything.

The clueless diplomat scored his own goal.
It's time you start asking questions and learn. Siemen are not in Nigeria!!! The German Chancellor in an interview explained the deal and that Nigeria failed to meet up with her own part of the deal. So the siemen deal stalled. So stop swallowing everything thrown at you by the corrupt politicians. APC sold dummy to you all.

Google and apply for MSc Cyber security. You do not need to add MSc Mechanical Engineering to not complicate your application.

Your BSc in Mechanical Engineering is okay. You just need to include your cybersecurity experience in your CV as well as get a reference letter that confirms that you worked in the Cybersecurity role. Add your employment letter also.

You will definitely get admission. IT is hotcake in the UK so you will easily get a job as a student and when you graduate.

Good luck.
Thank you

Depends on what you like

Since you have experience, u won't have visa issues if you apply to study Cybersecurity

I studied mass Comm and I'm studying MSc Cybersecurity. They'll need work references though

That Mechanical engineering... Hmm.
My guy studied mechatronics and had to delve into IT / devops cos he wasn't getting call backs

Like someone said, you can also apply directly to jobs that provide sponsorship so you won't have to go the student route

Check avanade and Amazon
Thanks for this great feedback.

Please can we talk directly? Let me email you or WhatsApp..

Thanks once again

I’d advice you go straight for PHD.
Mehn I dropped pen and everything Engineering in 2015 (M.Eng). I just de pity myself because it won't be easy catching up as a PhD student. A lot will be expected of one.

You have work experience and Certifications to show you are in the cybersecurity field. Why not try apply for Jobs directly and getting an Msc isn’t bad either
How easy is it to get a job straight from Nigeria? I'm considering school because I feel it's easier and it gives one a kinder of edge.

So you don't feel the career progression reason won't apply?

I will first ask, when did you graduate from your MEng.?

1. Not necessary.

2. You can go for a PhD in Mech Eng. or related course if your chances of getting admission are high considering your grade and year of graduation.

3. Your work experience overrides your academic qualifications considering your years of relevant work experience as a CyberSecurity professional. You could go for CyberSecurity.

Lack of career progression is when you don't do things that will likely contribute to your promotion in your career. Going for CyberSecurity is a career progression. Your work experience is your new reality. Your educational qualification doesn't define you as you have not been practising Mechanical Engineering.

Lack of academic progression is doing things that do not relate to your prior academic field. This is against those who don't have job experience at all and want to go for a course of study that is entirely different from their former education. This does not concern you because you have some years of work experience.

Kindly let us know the last time you studied (year of graduation of your MEng.)
Thank you so much for the feedback.

I graduated in 2009 and finished my M.Eng in 2015. I have over 8 years working experience.

No experience whatsoever in Mechanical Engineering. So my fear is, ... If I switch back to Mechanical Engineering, won't they be like "you love Mech so much why no working experience?". And how do I convince them in my SOP.

A mentor over there in Canada is the person that adviced against Cybersecurity. Said many of his friends have been denied because they are coming to study something else.

So MSc Cybersecurity or PhD??

Hello Everyone,

I studied Mechanical Engineering in my first degree...graduated with 2.1 in 2009. I have also done my master degree still in Mechanical Engineering.

However, after my undergraduate program, I got a job as a cybersecurity officer in a Bank and I have been in the banking industry ever since. I have done some information security certifications like Sec+, CEH, CISM.

My problem is that I am confused on what part to follow;

1. Should I start from Master Mechanical Engineering

2. Should I go straight for PhD

3. Or should I continue with Cybersecurity?

I got some information that it would be difficult to get VISA if I go for Cybersecurity because it's different from my first degree..."Lack of career progression".

Please I need guidance from experienced members
