Health / Depression: How To Regain Emotional Stability by dadadang(f): 8:39am On Jan 24, 2018
Over the weekend I was watching the news and they talked about a lady somewhere in Lagos who committed suicide because she was in debt and she had nothing to pay back her debt, she probably had thought about it and the shame that comes with not being able to pay back debts, she probably felt she doesn't even have money to feed herself and children, she probably had a lot of things running through her mind. After I heard this news I got weak and really sad knowing there are better ways of handling issues of this nature better than just committing suicide and ending ones life.

So many people after losing someone really close to them, sadness, Depression and frustration creeps in and they just wish there is somewhere they could run to or someone that would just erase the memories they have of the person, some other people just live in denial.

We live in a nation where there are about 1.5 million cases of depression per day. Depression is a consistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest that can lead to a range of behaviour and physical symptoms which include mental stress. Psychologists made it clear that depression is not just a physical problem its mental. Depression is more deadly than it seems but even at this, it is treatable and can be recovered from with time. Depression kills really fast, even faster than some deadly diseases, and people who have some of this "deadly" diseases die faster due to depression.

The cause of depression may vary, some which include;

1. Low socio-economic status
2. Low self-esteem
3. Loss of a close relative or property
4. Violence (physical, sexual, emotional)
5. New mothers (postpartum depression)
6. Could be hereditary

Avoid Ruminating: when passing through anything/ challenges, avoid thinking too much, over-thinking does more harm than good. Just acknowledge the fact that you are hurt and after this you move on. This may seem really difficult to do but with time you'll move on

Webmasters / Re: Should I Quit Blogging? by dadadang(f): 8:52am On Dec 13, 2017
Don't stop blogging if you truly have a passion for it, I started blogging about 8 months ago too and my first post i had about 80 views, I was impressed and decided to keep it moving but at a point the views reduced drastically to about 20-30 views, i got really discouraged and i stopped for a while but when i started again and I've decided not to stop anymore.. the last post i had about 108 views which i guess is really encouraging. So please do not stop if you truly love doing it.

I lauched my blog 8 months ago and I was quite aware it wasn't going to be easy coupling my day job with writing articles.

I try to maintain some level of consistency by at least posting once/twice a week. But my efforts seems to be falling to the group.

The traffic is pathetic! It shatters my heart and eats up any form of motivation when ever I look at it. I get an average of 20 views per day. I've applied and tried basically all I know but the growth appears static.

How long did it take before you started getting good traffic to your blog?

I blog about computers and honestly, I doubt if am going to renew my hosting package.

Any thoughts?

Where in the Bible or Quran or even in a shrine that a Plus Sized person should not find happiness.
I wonder why you always make it a big deal when a plus sized person is getting married.
nodody is talking about her getting married, the fact is that she is obese and if not for anything she should loose weight for her own well being.

With all the money Tubaba has, I can count the number of tubers of yam I'm seeing there. He should be able to donate a full 911 truck of yam to this people

if he doesnt do you"ll complain, if he does too much, you'll say he's trying to show. How can they ever satisfy Nigerians.
