The time we spend hunting for miracles, we should rather use that time to make our country a better place. People need tinknow that things don't happen magically. Even the bible noted that faith without works is dead, its a combination of a faith as small as a mustard seed and a whole lot of work. While you are busy praying to get a car magically, do you know the average citizen in the west and far east are sweating it out in a factory somewhere? People are in labs doing active research on how to improve, guys are working in the harsh winter weather developing apps, the IT personnel are busy developing intelligent computers, while you have already spend 50 days out of the lil time you have hunting for miracles. Prayer is powerful but more work is better!

My brother. freeze claimed he want to liberate christians but he is quiet about the killing of Christians. how does that show he is what he claimed to be. he is just displaying ignorance and most of you are just celebrating.

They are vital parts of Christian living despite its origin from the old covenant. This applies to tithe as well. Jesus Christ Spoke about tithe and never condemned it Mat 23 vs 23., Mathews 5 vs 17.
In the old covenant, Giving of 10% of your earnings will be enough but in the new order, that is not enough. This was why the Apostle requested that the people give their all. see Act chapter 5. so if you think its too much to give God 10%, get it, you are not fit to be a Christian because Christ will require your all. Romans 12 vs 1.
As for Side Chicks. We should not read the bible out of context. The Scriptures portrays the life of people not without flaws and how God used them for His Glory see Nehemiah 13:26. such as Abraham, Solomon, David etc. The position of the scriptures is very clear on multiple wives.see Deuteronomy 17 vs 17. 1) Reset and format all the past mistakes of his wife, including this act of infidelity
2) This is big opportunity to draw closer to God, when the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do, he can start all over again, all those celebrating 50 years of marriage have too many tales to talk about.
3) Both of them must sit down and discuss, what is it that led to that act of infidelity, and if he had ever cheated on her too, let him use that opportunity and confess too, most men can't take it but they do it regularly to their wives.

From experience, I have come to know that at times some bad things happen just for us to be exposed to some issues we have been overlooking. If we can adequately read the situation we can come out of it better and our families will be better for it.
For a marriage to last, we must learn to forgive. It is a currency desperately needed to make our marriage work

Furthermore, We also need to objectively look at the situation and see what actually could have caused the affair, what role have You played to birth the affair. These are some of the questions we need to ask for find healing for ourselves.

At times we are allowed to marry twice. one part of our marriage might have ended. it is up to us to see if we want to start another marriage with the same person again.

Forgive and forget are two different things. Forgiveness could be immediate but forgetting comes with time. It depends on how soon we can get healing. The marriage should be dissolved for the sake of the man's sanity..... It can never be repaired.... Let that man not use frustration and anger and kill the woman in her sleep...... Ask your cousin (or even u, I suspect u r the man) to take a walk... He can never heal.

Such a touching story. I would like to ask if this woman has always been like this before u married her. If yes. It means she has not settle some issues with herself or she's not emotionally ready to be married or to be sub missive. You should dig deep into her past to see what has happened to her or someone so close to her in a marriage. She could be struggling with some of the baggage of her past.

Furthermore, if she was not like that before, it appears something went wrong at the early days of the marriage. It could be the husband has probably done something wrong to her which precipitated such attitudes. People don't just change without a trigger. 5 BIG MISTAKES THAT COULD RUIN OUR MARRIAGE.

Today I would like to share with us some subtle mistakes we make as couples that could wreck our marriages or strain our relationships. Many marriages have been dissolved because of these mistakes. I think when we point them out it will help us to be aware of them and stay away from them. The only way not to make a mistake twice is acknowledge you made a mistake and understand why what you are doing is wrong and never do it again.
Before I continue I would like to state that this list may not be exhaustive but we will find some it very educative.

1. Lying. Have you had of the word “white lie”? Many couples tell their spouse lies just to get out of uncomfortable situations, some lie because they are afraid of the truth while some lie just to protect others. As we deceive in one area of life, a truth is revealed about another area. Lying in marriage reveals the true unhealthiness of the relationship. A lie doesn’t mean the whole relationship is unhealthy, but it does show an area of serious concern. We lie because we think lying is easier. It will get us what we want without anyone being hurt; and it often works….for a time; yet eventually, lies are discovered.
When lies are discovered your spouse feels deceived and start thinking you have always been lying to him/her. Lies create a cloud of doubt in the marriage and this could precipitate distrust in the marriage. We should try as much as possible to practice honesty in our marriage to encourage greater bonding. It might be difficult in the moment, but it will pay great rewards over a lifetime.

2. Comparing your spouse with someone else. There are about 7Bilion people on earth. These people are entirely different. It is not possible for them to behave the same way is same environment all the time. This also applies to the person we married. Your husband or wife is different from your neighbor’s or colleague’s partner. So there should be no bases to compare your spouse with anyone. People who compare their partner have difficulty maintaining positive perception about their partner. This is a source of stress and conflict in our marriage. One of the reasons why people compare is because they thought it help to improve their spouse; the reverse is always the case. The spouse being compared with others is always demoralized as a result of this comparism. He/she will always feel he can’t measure up. Comparing your spouse makes you blind to his/her strengths and this will precipitate more bitterness.
If you have any concern about your spouse or partner or you think there are areas he/she needs to improve on, you can communicate that to him in a very calm and respective manner that will make him/her want to change. Shift is from within and will be resisted if it is forces from without.
3. Putting other things/ people before your family. I was astonished when I heard one of my respected preachers told me that “it is wrong to put church before family”. At first I thought he was mistaken but after a deep thought and better understanding I came to realize that this is true. The excuse people who put work before their family normally gave is that, they want the best for their family that’s why they are working hard. The question is what it will profit you if you work so hard just to put food on the table but nobody to dine with. By the time you are ready for family your wife has become someone’s side chick while your children have become inmates. It doesn’t make sense if you are doing something for your family but that same thing is source of problems in your home. Always put your family first above anything or person. Don’t lose the joy and laughter in your family because of man or woman. Family is precious.
4. Disrespect. When we disrespect ourselves in our marriage there are bound to be fight everyday in our house. We can make fun of each other or call each other funny names but we should know where our boundaries lie. When we agree to be together as one, we vowed to respect the bond that ties the both of you together. Don’t take each other for granted. If you respect your spouse you will not intrude into his/her privacy. You will not search your partner’s thing without permission. If you have any doubt, discuss it with your spouse. It’s also a sign of disrespect if you think your partner shouldn’t have an opinion of some issues that has to do with the marriage. A partner that is disrespected will not give all for the family because he/she will think that they are not valued.
5. Keeping our partner in the dark. We have seen cases where a man is acquiring properties without the knowledge of the wife or vise versa. This is not good for the marriage because keeping secrets shows that are some issues with the marriage. Communication is the soul of the marriage when we fail to communicate or let out information to our spouse it weakens the bond in the marriage. It’s advisable to let your spouse know as much as possible what is going on with us.

The Nigerian government has ordered the immediate withdrawal of troops from communities in the Niger Delta region, amid allegations of a heavy-handed military response to renewed attacks on oil and gas installations in the area.
A new group called the Niger Delta Avengers has declared war on the installations, vowing to ground Nigeria’s oil production.
The group, which says it wants a sovereign state of the Niger Delta, has attacked several facilities in recent weeks, cutting oil and gas production and forcing oil companies to shut some export terminals.
Residents of the area have however complained of harassment and indiscriminate arrests by soldiers hunting the militants.
The government said it was withdrawing troops immediately. Soldiers will continue to patrol the waterways.
The decision was taken at a meeting between Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, governors from states in the Niger Delta region, some ministers and service chiefs.
The minister of state for petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, had on Monday announced that President Muhammadu Buhari had directed a two-week cessation of military offensive in the Niger Delta region, to enable the government dialogue with the militants.
Speaking to journalists after Tuesday’s meeting, Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, said, “We have also agreed that there is a need to distill military operations directly in communities, but the military need to actually remain on our waterways to ensure that we adequately man the waterways itself while we engage the communities and that engagement process is starting any moment from now”.


Mr. Okowa said during the meeting they received briefings on the current state of things and agreed that a synergy, especially in a form of intelligence sharing, between the Federal Government and the States would help in tackling the problem.
“We have taken a lot of decisions which will help us mitigate what is going on currently in the states particularly Bayelsa and Delta.
“One of such is that there is a need for us to share intelligence which is very important and for us to be proactive, working together with the various stakeholders in the states to achieve a better result
going forward,” he said.
He said the decision of withdrawing the troops took was to begin immediately.
Others at the meeting include the governors of Edo, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ondo and Rivers State. The deputy governor of Cross River State also attended the meeting.
All service chiefs, ministers of Niger Delta, Petroleum (state) and Defence were also in attendance.
The Edo state governor, Mr. Oshiomhole, told journalists that Nigeria was not at war as the government was ready to address the conflict.
“If we have conflicts, we will talk through those conflicts. There are laws that have to be enforced. I think that in all of these the whole idea is to find peace that is functional, that creates an environment for very decent Nigerians to live their lives,” he said.

The Code of Conduct Bureau has slammed a 13-count charge of corruption on the President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki.
In charge number ABT/01/15, dated September 11 and filed before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Mr. Saraki is accused of offences ranging from anticipatory declaration of assets to making false declaration of assets in forms he filed before the Code of Conduct Bureau while he was governor of Kwara state.
According to the charges, exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES Wednesday morning, the Senate President is also accused of failing to declare some assets he acquired while in office as governor.
Among other offences, including allegedly acquiring assets beyond his legitimate earnings, Mr. Saraki is also accused of operating foreign accounts while being a public officer – governor and senator.
The offences, the charge said, violated sections of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended.
Mr. Saraki is also said to have breached Section 2 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act and punishable under paragraph 9 of the said Fifth Schedule of the Constitution.
The charges were prepared by M.S. Hassan, a deputy director in the office of the Attorney General of the Federation. It is not clear on Wednesday morning whether the document had been served on Mr. Saraki, Nigeria’s number three man.
He and his aides could not be immediately reached. But a source at the Code of Conduct Bureau told PREMIUM TIMES the Senate President might be arraigned before the Code of Conduct Tribunal this week.
