Yes, with the power asign to the Upstream Regulators which is called the COMMISSION are very broad, they must have enough structure for efficient execution of their mandates. More job opportunities has be created for our Nigerians...sorry, their relatives and girlfriends.

PIB has been passed today. DPR, PPPRA and PEF will be collapsed into National Upstream Regulatory agency and National downstream regulatory authority. NNPC will also be dismantled to NNPC limited, with autonomous business unit. All in the next six months.

PEF + PPPRA = Authority...Two captain can't steer a ship. One must go down..department will be created. More duty and responsibility in the downstream and midstream. DPR have no business with both downstream and midstream but upstream only. Who's to go down?

Some FIRS hopefulls was also giving this date by their sponsors, the date was confidential and legit. Fortunately and unfortunately, I was the only one who spill the beans.
In response to your question, my friend connect dropped a text message when my friend posed this same question. The text message was a bit interesting and reliable..I will only advise FIRS hopefull to exercise more patience and be prayerfull and shun desperation and daubt. Don't be too over smart like that lady please who want to know who signed her letter before payment.

you might be right. Firs recruited way too many people last year when the new chairman got in. I visited thier office sometimes last year and everywhere was filled up. Up till now the man haven't paid upfront to the new intakes and I don't think he might be paying anytime soon.

FIRS doesn't pay upfront, if their proposal for upfront scale through, the list level 8 staff will be parting with 3.5m as stated.

Their long awaited proposal seems to be impossible to scale through because, one factor affecting them is too many saff strienghts in the organization. The chairman is still employing so you can emerging the situation. You can verify this information.
