The Samsung A800 is a stylish phone and was hugely popular when it was launched in 2003. It has a very similar appearance to its big brother, the Samsung T100. As well as looking very similar to the T100, it shares virtually all the same features, including the 40-voice polyphonic ringtones, except that it doesn't have a colour screen. If you're prepared to give colour a miss, then you will find the A800 to be a good value stylish and functional phone.

The A800 features the extremely popular dual-display that means you can see who's calling you before deciding whether to take the call. To accept the call, you just flip open the phone. The external display also shows useful information like date & time, battery life and reception quality.

Key features of the A800 are its tiny size and weight and excellent 40-voice ringtones.

The main features of the Samsung A800 are:

Polyphonic ringtones (40-voice) and customisable ringtones
High-resolution screen (128 x 128 pixels) plus external display
WAP 1.2.1
Voice dialling and speed dialling
Voice memo (10 minutes)
EMS
Predictive text messaging (T9)
Phone memory (200 names)
Caller display
3 games
Downloadable screensavers
Clock, alarm, calculator
Size: 80 x 40 x 22 mm
Weight: 68g
Battery standby: 150 hours
Battery talktime: 3 hours
Vibration alert
Dual band

Computers / Re: Zinox: First Computer Manufacturers In Nigeria, Really? by dagaro(m): 4:26pm On Jan 03, 2006
What ever it take to manufacture a computer it has to start from somewhere,I think we need to support Zinox as being the indigenous computer company in Nigeria. So many years back in China it was ABACUS that was been used in place of computers.

First let me point out the following to Hot-angel about guys:
(i) we don't normally wear pants(especially black pants).Reason; we don,t leak monthly, most guys wear boxers.
(ii) even if we wear one (which mostly is not black) we don't share it.
But to talk of sharing things like shoes, please let us be honest with ourself can anyone in the house swear to god that he never wear a shoe that does not belong to him/her? the truth of the matter is that we know whom to share with or not. Can somebody in the house help me with the definition of a FRIEND.

Romance / Re: My Man Won't Commit by dagaro(m): 10:07am On Dec 30, 2005
I agree with rikkyjen, 6 years was not six months and the devil you know...please give him the second chance under the condition that he should commit himself in a certain period of time that you will give him. From your post I do understand that you are still in love with him,and that is what matters. But let me ask you 'Are you in love with the present guy at thasame time? If the answer is yes then you have to make the choice yourself else take rikkyjen advice or end up filttering.
