Family / Is Agency Fee Not Refundable In This Situation? by Dainy1(m): 2:07pm On Sep 03 |
I paid 770k for a one bedroom apartment and they were supposed to renovate the house, it took them one month without renovation. till date no renovations. They didn't give me receipt too. (The caretaker and two agents are the one involved I don't know the landlord) I changed my mind and requested for my money which I told them I will wait pending when there's a new person. once he make payments, they should refund me. Someone came few days ago and made payments (850k) even higher than mine. They credited me last night with 700k. That 70k which was the aggreed agency fee is non refunded? Pls, agent, landlords, lawyers or experience people in the house, is this true? Is this how is being done? Pls, enlighten me because I don't want to let go of that money and I don't know how to get it back either. |

@Op, be very careful. Everywhere is not funny lately. One chance people now kidnap and demand from loved ones whither you're from a rich home or not. Most people are not really who they claim to be online. Some are married and they stays alone, their family don't stay in Abuja. So, be careful. See how you're disclosing your location online as if you're a strange in this country. All the best anyway |

Family / Have You Ever Had Or Seen Experience Buying A Stolen Items? by Dainy1(m): 1:04am On Jul 11 |
So, a younger colleague, unknowingly bought a laptop from a seller online. The seller advertised as his personal laptop which he wants to sell to pay up his house rent. Weeks later, the seller got caught by the police, my colleague came into the matter, he was made to return the laptop, but wasn't giving back his 250k which he used in buying. As the seller was still in police custody. According to them, the guy had gamble away with all the money he realized from the stolen items he sold. And still had other cases. According to the police, they told my colleague there's nothing they can do about getting back his money. Have you ever had any experience? How is my colleague supposed to retrieve his money after releasing the laptop back to the police? Was he supposed to return the laptop since his money was not available? What's your take on this? If it Were you, what would you do in this case? |

So, I decided to trek a long distance to eat in a place where food are cheaper compared to the one close to my office.. This food that can't reach me anywhere is #2500, I feel like asking for more, but that will increase the money to 5k. I can't afford to spend 5k this morning, so let me just use this one hold body. Feeding this day is like an investment. How do you go about feeding this day? Family, where is only one partner that brings in, how do you cope? Single mothers, how una dey take run em? Those with plenty children, una dey fit chop 3 times a day so? Because, me with just two children, wifey is not doing anything, I want to run mad here o 4 Likes

What's your take on this. A married woman cheating on her husband, collecting money from the man and feeding the family including her husband. Paying bills and taking care of everyone. Since her husband has been jobless for a long time and her salary is not much. Who is at fault? What would you do as a husband once you discover? Women, can you go through all these, knowing that when caught, the man and the society will still condem you? What's your general take on this? |
