My people , una well done oh. Pls does anyone know how I can expedite my K1 case. We have already received the NOA2 but the case is still at the NVC. How do we expedite? Are there forms to fill? Through what channel do we do it? Pls I need your answers. Ejo, biko. Thank you.

Will having a traditional wedding disqualify is from getting the K1 Visa? My parents are insisting on a traditional wedding since they won’t be available for the white wedding when we eventually go to the US. So can we have a small traditional ceremony to make up for that. What will be the result of that? Does the embassy regard traditional wedding as being married?

You can do your trad but DO NOT mention it during the K1 interview. Don’t even bring or say anything that hints the fact that you are married.

Hello. Pls my K1 was approved since April and it’s meant to expire in August. I don’t even have a case number neither do I know what to do. I need some guidance pls. I have written to them but no response.

My K1 application will expire on the 9th of may which Is this month and I have not been able to get an appointment date, I have written to them severely and I keep getting this automatic response, am just confused. Pls what can I do about it ?

1. Check under immigrant.
2. If it says ready, that means you can go ahead and schedule an interview.
3. You can fill the DS on your phone or PC. Which ever is convenient for you. I used a PC, it’s a matter of preference.
4. Yes, K1 is non immigrant but processed as immigrant at the consulate. Don’t let that bother you. You’re good to go.
5. Don’t worry about the several weeks, you can go ahead and schedule your interview. Not sure about available dates tho cos of this COVID-19 wahala.

I got all the info I needed for us from here till we got to this stage but now, I just have to ask you guys to help me. Hi everyone. Pls I sent a letter of intent to my fiancé in the USA through EMS since I heard that it has to be a wet signature. I sent the letter and my passport photos last month as priority mail which supposed to take 10 working days. It’s now 20days and my fiancé is yet to receive the mail. Has anyone used EMS before? Is it necessary that the letter be wet signature or can it be scanned so that he can get it in time? We really want to send the I129F this month. Thanks
