TOPIC: ACCORDING TO YOUR CAPACITY 2

MEMORISE

“I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.” - (Psalm 119:32)

READ: Exodus 23:29-30 (KJV)

29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

MESSAGE

Many years ago, someone suddenly walked up to me as I entered into a room and held my hand, saying, “I receive a double portion of the anointing.” I gently brushed the fellow off me as I thought to myself, "This is not how to receive the anointing.” Even if I were to lay hands on someone to impart the anointing to him or her, what will determine the working of the anointing in the fellow’s life will be his or her spiritual capacity.

Those who will walk in a measure of the anointing must engage in some things according to God's leading. They must consecrate themselves as led by God; if not, God will lift the anointing off them because the anointing attracts spirits. If a fellow carries a measure of the anointing and doesn't embrace the consecrations that are attached to it, the anointing will do more harm than good to the fellow.

Many years ago, I didn't fast the way I normally would have done before a particular Holy Ghost Service. During the service, I ministered with the anointing all through the night because God had already given it to me. However, after I retired to my room in the early hours of the morning, I could hardly stand up from the bed. The best way I can describe what happened to me is that my bones were like rubber. I had to beg God to give me the ability to at least attend the next meeting I had that afternoon. Fasting was not what I needed to flow in the anointing, but without fasting, the anointing could have really harmed me. God will not let you walk in the anointing that will be bigger than your capacity because it will destroy you.

If you want more of the anointing, then you must expand your spiritual capacity. God will not place a heavier weight of the anointing on a fellow beyond what he or she can manage. As a good Father, He doesn't want His gift to become the reason for anyone's destruction, so He would rather not give it. Having consistent fellowship with God is the key to building and enlarging your spiritual capacity. The closer you are to God, the bigger your spiritual capacity becomes.

Beloved, as we see in today's Bible reading, God requires His children to grow so that He can give them more of what He has already prepared for them. Build your spiritual capacity to carry a greater measure of the anointing; consistently spend quality time in God's presence and live a holy life.

KEY POINT

To grow your spiritual capacity, you must fellowship with God regularly and obey His instructions.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR
Proverbs 8 - 11

HYMN 12 - ONWARD, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS!

1. Onward, Christian soldiers! Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before;
Christ, the Royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See His banners go.

CHORUS
Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before.

2. At the name of Jesus
Satan's host doth Ilee; On then, Christian soldiers On to victory! Hell's foundations quiver At the shout of praise: Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise.

3. Like a mighty army
Moves the Church of God: Brothers, we are treading
Where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, All one body we One in hope and doctrine, One in charity.

4. Crowns and thrones may
perish Kingdoms rise and wane; But the Church of Jesus
Constant will remain: Gates of hell can never 'Gainst that church prevail; We have Christ's own promise And that cannot fail.

5. Onward then, ye people,
Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song: "Glory, praise and honour, Unto Christ the King", - This, through countless ages, Men and angels sing.

PRAYER POINTS ON "ACCORDING TO YOUR CAPACITY"

Father, I thank You for Your wisdom and for always desiring what is best for me, even when it means withholding certain blessings until I am ready, in Jesus' name. Thank You for not giving me what would destroy me.

Lord, I repent of every time I have been impatient or demanded blessings before my appointed time or beyond my current capacity. Forgive me for any frustration or unbelief when answers to my prayers seemed delayed, in Jesus' name.

Father, I pray for a clear understanding of my current capacity in every area of my life – spiritually, financially, emotionally, and in leadership. Help me to honestly assess where I am and where I need to grow, in Jesus' name.

I declare that I am ready to submit to Your divine process of capacity building. Help me to embrace every training, challenge, and period of preparation You ordain for me, just as Joseph, Moses, and David did, in Jesus' name.

Lord, open my eyes to the specific areas where I need to expand my capacity to accommodate the greater blessings and responsibilities You have for me. Show me the weaknesses I need to overcome and the strengths I need to develop, in Jesus' name.

Father, empower me with diligence and discipline to train myself to be the kind of person who can handle the blessings I am asking for. Grant me the grace to learn, grow, and mature in every necessary aspect, in Jesus' name.

I pray for divine tutors and governors, just as stated in Galatians 4:2, to come into my life. Bring me mentors, teachers, and experiences that will guide me and build my capacity for Your perfect will, in Jesus' name.

Lord, help me to manage well what You have already entrusted into my hands, no matter how small it may seem. I pray for wisdom to be faithful in little so that You can trust me with much more, in Jesus' name.

Father, remove every obstacle and limitation within me that hinders my capacity from expanding. Deliver me from fear, insecurity, pride, or any character flaw that could prevent me from receiving and managing Your abundant blessings, in Jesus' name.

I pray for divine acceleration in my growth and development, according to Your will. Let my capacity increase rapidly so that I may be fully prepared for the great things You have purposed for my life, in Jesus' name.

Lord, I pray for Pastor E. A. Adeboye, that You will continue to increase his capacity for Your work, grant him fresh revelations, and empower him to lead Your church into greater dimensions of glory, in Jesus' name.

My personal prayer point: (Add your specific prayer regarding increasing your capacity, e.g., "Father, show me practical steps I need to take to increase my financial wisdom and capacity for wealth management, in Jesus' name." or "Lord, help me to develop the emotional maturity and spiritual depth required to lead others effectively in my sphere of influence, in Jesus' name." )

Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering my prayers. I believe and receive the grace to grow in capacity and to walk into the fullness of Your blessings for my life, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

MEMORISE: Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; Galatians 4:1

READ: Galatians 4:1-2
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

MESSAGE:
Many people ask God for blessings however, if God answers many of them at the time, their miracles may destroy them. For example, a responsible father, even if he is a billionaire, will decline the request of his four-year-old son to drive one of his cars because the boy cannot handle a car at such a young age. Similarly, God only gives His children blessings they can handle and blessings that wouldn't destroy them. Beloved, you must expand your capacity so you can accommodate the blessings you are asking God for. If a believer wants to be the president of a nation but cannot effectively manage the people and resources within a department as the Head of Department the fellow will be a disaster waiting to happen if he or she becomes the nation's president at that moment. As a president, there are greater consequences for mismanagement; therefore, to save such a believer from them, God will not allow him or her to become the president at that moment.

When God calls people and shows them His vision for their lives, He always takes them through a process to prepare them for the vision He has shown them. When God showed Joseph that he would become a leader (Genesis 37:5-10), He took him through 13 years of training to prepare him. In those years, Joseph found himself in different leadership positions that prepared him for the place God was taking him to (Genesis 39:1-4, 21- 23). If he had become the leader of Egypt immediately after he had his dreams, he would have been inexperienced and incapable of making the wise decisions he made.

At 40, Moses knew what God wanted him to do, but because he had not developed the capacity to execute his assignment, he went about it the wrong way (Exodus 2:11- 15). God had to withdraw him from Egypt and redeploy him into the wilderness to learn patience and wisdom as he took care of his father-in-law's sheep (Exodus 3:1). Likewise, David started as a shepherd boy and went through God's preparation process for 13 years after Samuel anointed him as Israel's king.

Beloved, train yourself to be the kind of person who can handle the blessings you are asking God for. Submit to God's process and allow Him to help you build your capacity and eliminate the weaknesses that can hinder you from fulfilling His vision for your life.

REFLECTION
Do you have the capacity to handle the blessings you are asking God for?

1 Guide me, O thou great Jehovah
pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but you are mighty;
hold me with your powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore,
feed me now and evermore.

2 Open now the crystal fountain,
where the healing waters flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,
ever be my strength and shield,
ever be my strength and shield.

3 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside.
Death of death, and hell's Destruction,
land me safe on Canaan's side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever sing to you,
I will ever sing to you.

MEMORIZE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

READ: Isaiah 46:10-11
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

MESSAGE
Before you were born, there was a specific task that God had earmarked for you as an individual. Jeremiah 1:5 made this clear:

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

God placed you in the family you were born into for a purpose. He put you where you can fulfil His original purpose for your life. I pray that God will speak to you concerning your purpose and why He has put you in the family you were born into.

Everyone has a specific purpose for which they were born into a family, state, and country. For example, in Exodus 3:1-12, God specifically told Moses, "Your purpose is to bring my people out of Egypt to come and worship me on this mountain." In Joshua 1:1-8, God told Joshua that it was his assignment to divide the land among His people. In 1 Kings 19:19-21, He let Elisha know, "What you have been doing thus far is farming, and you are doing well, but the work I have for you is to be my prophet."

When you stop focusing on money and you begin to do what God put you on the earth to do, you will not only get money, but you will also get much more than that. When Elisha took an early retirement from farming and became a prophet, the result was found in 2 Kings 4:12-13. He became so influential that he could say to the Shunammite Woman, "Do you want me to talk to the king or the commander-in-chief for you? Whom do you want me to talk to for you?” You must trust God that He will not put you in this world to suffer. Once you have discovered His purpose for your life, start walking in it because that is how you can find fulfilment and all-round joy. He said in Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

It is God's will that you should know His specific purpose for your life and walk in it. If you are yet to know His purpose for your life, go before Him in prayers today and ask Him. He will reveal it to you and give you the grace to walk in it, in Jesus' name.

PRAYER POINT
Father, show me Your purpose for my life and help me never to stray from it, in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 10: IN CHRIST ALONE
1 In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My comforter, my all in all
Here in the love of Christ I stand

2 In Christ alone who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live
There in the ground His body lay

3 Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

4 No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

11 And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.

12 And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him.

13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

14 And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.

15 And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door.

16 And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

17 And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.

18 And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.

19 And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.

20 And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.

21 And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.

22 And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.

23 And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.

24 Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee.

25 So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:

26 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.

27 And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.

28 Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

29 Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.

30 And the mother of the child said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

31 And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing.
Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

32 And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.

33 He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD.

34 And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

35 Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes

36 And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

37 Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.

38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.

MESSAGE
In today's Bible reading, the Shunamite woman sowed into Elisha's life continuously until he was inspired to find out what he could give her in return. Eventually, she got a blessing that transformed her life. I learnt from this story that if you bless a genuine man of God, you have entered into a covenant partnership with God, and you won't have to pray about some of your needs before God meets them.

We have a group in RCCG called Covenant Partners. These are people who quietly lift up my hands financially. I meet with them once every year, and at one particular meeting, I was led by the Holy Spirit to say, "Those of you who have been lifting up my hands, if there is any of you in debt, God will pay your debt." One man among them shouted "Amen" loudly. He was about 50 years old and was heavily in debt. The following week, the bank that he
owed called him to meet the Managing Director. The MD asked him, "Sir, how are you going to pay off this debt? Give us a plan so we know what to work with" He looked at the MD and said, "Even if I pay you a million naira for every day that I have lived, I can't finish paying this debt." To his surprise, the bank later informed him that the loan had been written off. I pray that my Father, who owns the cattle upon a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), will do exceeding abundantly above your wildest imaginations, in Jesus' name.

Abraham understood covenant partnership with God. After he went to war against the five kings who fought against Sodom and Gomorrah and conquered them, he gave Melchizedek, the priest of the Most High God, the tithes of all (Genesis 14:18-20). This covenant partnership shifted Abraham into an unprecedented realm of abundance such that when he was old, the Bible said God had blessed him in all things (Genesis 24:1). Joshua's service to Moses positioned him as God's choice to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land (Exodus 33:11, Joshua 1:1-2). Also, Elisha's service to Elijah made him a candidate for a double portion of the anointing (2 Kings 2:1-15).

Beloved, God wants you to come into a covenant partnership with Him through the genuine spiritual leaders He has placed over you. Honor them by giving to them and supporting them, and like the great woman of Shunem, God will meet your needs even before you ask Him.

ACTION POINT
Commit to blessing a genuine minister of God and meeting some needs in your local assembly today.

HYMN 26: THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS
1 There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.

Refrain
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need;
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

2 There shall be showers of blessing—
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.

3 There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord!
Grant to us now a refreshing;
Come, and now honor Thy Word.

4 There shall be showers of blessing;
O that today they might fall,
Now as to God we’re confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!

5 There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.

PRAYER POINTS ON "COMMANDING YOUR MIRACLE"

Father, I thank You for Your word that reveals Your willingness to perform miracles and for the example of Jesus at the wedding in Cana, in Jesus' name. Thank You for the testimonies of Jabez and Pastor E.A. Adeboye, showing that persistent prayer yields results.

Lord, I repent of every form of doubt, unbelief, and spiritual laziness that has hindered me from commanding my miracles. Forgive me for any lukewarmness or inconsistency in my prayer life, in Jesus' name.

Father, I pray for a renewed spirit of fervent and persistent prayer. Ignite a fresh fire within me to press into Your presence until my 'not yet' becomes 'now', in Jesus' name.

I declare that I can command my miracle today. I receive the grace to engage in effectual, fervent prayers that avail much, in Jesus' name.

Lord, just as You granted Jabez his request and turned his sorrow into joy, I pray that You will turn my long-awaited desires into speedy manifestations. Whatever I have been waiting for, let it come forth now, in Jesus' name.

Father, empower me with unwavering persistence in prayer. Help me not to be tired of waiting on You, but to remain steadfast and expectant, knowing that my miracle is on the way, in Jesus' name.

I pray for increased sensitivity to the Holy Spirit's instructions as I pray. Grant me the grace to hear Your voice clearly and to obey every command, so that I may receive my miracle before long, in Jesus' name.

Lord, let Your hand be with me, enlarge my coast, and keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me. Grant me indeed the blessings that cause joy and expansion, in Jesus' name.

Father, I stand on Your promise that whatsoever Jesus says, I should do it. Strengthen me to obey every divine instruction, no matter how simple or illogical it may seem, knowing that my obedience unlocks my miracle, in Jesus' name.

I pray for every area of my life where I need a miracle – my health, finances, relationships, career, spiritual growth – let Your miraculous power be released now, in Jesus' name.

Lord, help me to consistently follow the examples of faith and persistence demonstrated in Your word and by Your servants. Let my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness in answering persistent prayers, in Jesus' name.

I pray for Pastor E. A. Adeboye and all Your true servants globally. Continue to empower them with divine anointing for miracles and grant them grace to remain persistent in their walk with You, in Jesus' name.

My personal prayer point: (Add your specific prayer regarding a miracle you are commanding, e.g., "Lord, I command a miracle of divine healing over my body from [mention affliction], in Jesus' name." or "Father, I command a financial breakthrough and open doors for divine provision in my life, in Jesus' name."wink

Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering my prayers. I believe and receive my commanded miracles, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

THEME: COMMANDING YOUR MIRACLE

MEMORIZE: His mother said unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.
John 2:5

READ: John 2:1-12
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knewwink the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

MESSAGE
Today's Bible reading tells us the story of the wedding in Cana of Galilee. When wine finished at the wedding, Mary informed Jesus about it, expecting Him to provide a solution. However, Jesus replied that His time had not yet come. Mary must have smiled and said to herself, "Son, your time will come tonight." She told the men confidently, "Do whatever He asks you to do," and before the end of the day, 'not yet' became 'now'.

You can also command a miracle from God. You can pray in such a way that you will know that God has heard and your miracle is on the way. Jabez was a man who prayed such a prayer. For many years, he was labelled as a cause of pain and sorrow until he said, "Enough is enough." He called on God to turn his situation around, and He granted his request.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

1 Chronicles 4:10
We don't know how long Jabez prayed for, but we know the result of his prayer: God turned his story around. In the name above every other name, whatever you have long waited for will come speedily.

To command your miracle, you must know how to engage in fervent prayers and be persistent with them. James said that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). During a Holy Ghost Service at Redemption City, I waved my hands as I stood on the altar, and miracles started happening. It is possible for some pastors who saw that happen to wonder, "Why can't I also wave and have miracles happen? I serve the same God this man serves; I also pray and fast regularly." However, they may not know that before that day, I had been praying that miracles should happen just at the wave of my hands for about fifteen years. Some of the things people see happening now in RCCG are the result of my persistence with God in the place of prayers.

Beloved, don't be tired of waiting on God. Command your miracles by remaining persistent in the place of prayer. As you pray, take heed to the Holy Spirit instructions. Obey them, and you will receive your miracle before long.

PRAYER POINT
Father, please help me to remain persistent in the place of prayer, in Jesus.

1 Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry,
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

Refrain:
Savior, Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

2 Let me at a throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.

PRAYER POINTS ON "UNDER HIS COVER"

Father, I thank You for Your unfailing love and for Your absolute cover over my life, which prevents evil from happening. Thank You for Your general cover that sustains all humanity, and for the special cover reserved for Your children, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I repent of every time I have failed to dwell constantly in Your secret place, for spiritual insensitivity, and for going in and out of Your presence. Forgive me for any lukewarmness or neglect of our intimate fellowship, in Jesus’ name.

Father, I pray that I will truly dwell in Your secret place and abide continually under the shadow of the Almighty. Establish me firmly under Your special cover, where no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling, in Jesus’ name.

I declare that You, O LORD, are my refuge and my fortress; my God, in You alone do I trust. Surely You will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, cover me with Your feathers, and let me trust completely under Your wings. Let Your truth be my shield and buckler, so I shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day, nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday, in Jesus’ name.

Father, even if a thousand fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, I declare it shall not come near me. Let me only behold with my eyes and see the reward of the wicked, but remain untouched, in Jesus’ name.

I pray for Your angels to have charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. Let them bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, empower me to tread upon the lion and the adder, to trample the young lion and the dragon under my feet. Let every form of opposition and satanic attack against my life be crushed, in Jesus’ name.

Because I have set my love upon You, Lord, I pray that You will deliver me and set me on high. Because I have known Your name, let me call upon You and You will answer me. Be with me in trouble, deliver me, and honour me, in Jesus’ name.

Father, satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation. Let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness and Your unfailing protection, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, help me to consistently pay the premium for Your special cover by cultivating an intimate relationship with You. Grant me the grace to study my Bible daily, to pray without ceasing, to fellowship with other brethren, and to serve You wholeheartedly, in Jesus’ name.

I pray for Pastor E. A. Adeboye and all Your true servants globally. Continue to keep them under Your absolute and special cover, protecting them from all evil and empowering them to lead Your flock into deeper intimacy with You, in Jesus’ name.

My personal prayer point: (Add your specific prayer regarding remaining under God's cover in a particular area of your life, e.g., "Lord, help me to remain sensitive to Your Spirit and always abide in Your presence concerning my relationships/finances/health, in Jesus' name." )

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

MESSAGE
When a fellow or organization is under an insurance cover, the insurance Company must ensure that such a fellow or organization is duly compensated for any losses that have been provided for under the insurance cover. However, unlike insurance covers, God's cover is absolute because it totally prevents evil from happening.

Everyone is under God's general cover, whether they are born again or not. In Matthew 5:45, the Bible says that God makes the sun to rise on the evil and the good and the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. If unbelievers are not under God's general cover, they wouldn't even be able to breathe. When unbelievers receive a miracle, it is always on credit, and it is a sign that God loves them and wants to be their Father.

There are, however, some special covers that are for God's children only. For example, Jesus said in Mark 7:27 that healing is the children's bread. Likewise, protection against evil forces can only happen when a fellow is in Jesus' camp. Colossians 1:13 says that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. If anyone really wants to live under the special cover of the Almighty God, He or she must be His child indeed.

As with insurance companies, believers must pay a premium to abide under God's cover. Anyone who subscribes to an insurance package must pay his or her dues regularly to have access to the full benefits. For example, if someone subscribes to a car insurance plan and opts for a monthly payment plan but pays only once a year, such a person will not enjoy the benefits of the policy if the car becomes damaged. To fully enjoy the benefits of insurance, subscribers must fulfil their part.

Beloved, your access to God's special cover is an intimate relationship with Him. This means that you must study your Bible and pray daily, fellowship with other brethren, and serve God wholeheartedly. Many Christians have fallen victim to the devil because they lost their spiritual sensitivity after staying far from God for a long time. It is in your constant fellowship with God that you remain under His special cover. Are you abiding in His secret place, or have you been going in and out? If you want to enjoy the full benefits of being under God's cover, you must constantly remain in His presence.

REFLECTION
Have you been dwelling in the secret place of the Most High?

HYMN 19: ROCK OF AGES CLEFT FOR ME
1 Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save me from its guilt and power.

2 Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All could never sin erase,
Thou must save, and save by grace.

3 Nothing in my hands I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress,
Helpless, look to Thee for grace:
Foul, I to the fountain fly,
Wash me, Savior, or I die.

4 While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
When I soar to worlds unknown,
See Thee on Thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.

Father, I thank You for being the only true source of all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, as stated in Proverbs 2:6 and Daniel 2:20, in Jesus' name.

Lord, I acknowledge that without Your wisdom, I am truly in lack. Forgive me for every instance where I have relied on my own understanding or sought knowledge from worldly sources above You, in Jesus' name.

Father, I pray for a fresh hunger and thirst for Your wisdom and knowledge, knowing that they are essential for stability in my times and strength for my salvation, according to Isaiah 33:6, in Jesus' name.

Lord, I pray that You grant me divine wisdom to apply every knowledge I acquire correctly, so that I am not destroyed for lack of it, as warned in Hosea 4:6, in Jesus' name.

Father, I ask for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened to grasp the deep things of God, in Jesus' name.

Lord, as James 1:5 declares, I ask boldly for wisdom. Please grant it to me generously and without reproach, in Jesus' name.

I pray for divine insight and understanding in all my endeavors, just as You granted Pastor E. A. Adeboye unusual wisdom during his postgraduate studies, in Jesus' name.

Father, I ask that You would open my mind to comprehend spiritual truths and practical solutions that are hidden in You, the One in whom all wisdom and knowledge are concealed, according to Colossians 2:3, in Jesus' name.

Lord, help me to consistently connect and partner with You, knowing that this is the key to accessing unusual depths of wisdom and knowledge for an excellent life, in Jesus' name.

I pray for divine discernment to differentiate between worldly wisdom and godly wisdom, and to always prioritize Your wisdom above all else, in Jesus' name.

Father, remove every veil of ignorance and misunderstanding from my mind, and flood my heart with Your light and truth, in Jesus' name.

Lord, empower me to live a life that reflects Your wisdom, so that others may see Your glory through me, in Jesus' name.

My personal prayer point: (Add your specific prayer regarding any area where you need divine wisdom or knowledge, e.g., "Lord, grant me specific wisdom for [my career/my relationships/a difficult decision I'm facing] so I can honor You and succeed, in Jesus' name."wink

Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering my prayers. I receive Your divine wisdom and knowledge to live an excellent and impactful life, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me and wash all my sins away with your precious blood shed at Calvary. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal damnation.

THEME: THE SOURCE OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE

MEMORIZE: For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6

READ: Isaiah 33:5-6
5 The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

MESSAGE
Wisdom and knowledge are very important in the life of every human being. They are so important that Proverbs 4:7 says:
Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge. If you have everything in this world and also have vast knowledge about many things but fail to apply the knowledge correctly, you are still in lack. Hosea 4:6 says:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The Scripture above tells us that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: that is how important wisdom and knowledge are. The question now is, how can you get wisdom and knowledge? To answer this question, we should first and foremost identify the source of wisdom and knowledge. Daniel 2:20 tells us that wisdom and might belong to God. James 1:5 also tells us that God is the One who gives wisdom, while Colossians 2:3 says wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him. God is clearly the only source of wisdom He is the only wise God (1 Timothy 1:17). During my postgraduate studies at the University of Lagos, my research supervisor travelled out of the country for a while. Before he travelled, he gave me a very difficult assignment by the time he came back and saw how much progress I had made within the short period he was away, he looked at me and said, "Enoch, I know you're a Christian, and you won’t lie to me. What I am seeing could not have been done by you alone, so tell me, who helped you?" Even though my supervisor knew that Christians do not lie, he was Hindu and didn't believe in Jesus Christ. Hence, if I had told him that Jesus Christ helped me, he wasn't going to take me seriously So, I said to him, "Professor Emmanuel helped me." However, I got into trouble when he asked, "Professor Emmanuel? Of which department?

The best professors in the world are only experts in a few disciplines because man is limited in wisdom and knowledge. However, God knows all academic subjects and everything else in the world. When you partner with Him, He will grant you access to unusual depths of wisdom and knowledge that will help you live an excellent life.

KEY POINT
When you connect and partner with God, you will have access to unusual wisdom and knowledge.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 119

AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE

HYMN 8: I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR
1 I need Thee ev'ry hour,
Most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine
Can peace afford.

Refrain:
I need Thee, oh, I need Thee;
Ev'ry hour I need Thee;
Oh, bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.

2 I need Thee ev'ry hour,
Stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their pow’r
When Thou art nigh.

3 I need Thee ev'ry hour,
In joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide,
Or life is vain.

4 I need Thee ev'ry hour,
Teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises
In me fulfill.
