I’m happy I found your post. I’ve been thinking about setting up a bakery for a while now and I’m going all in this new year. I intend to purchase 9 trays oven with half bag capacity. I know a lot depends on groundwork and many other things put in place but I will like to ask some questions regardless. How many loafs of bread do you think is feasibly marketable for a new bakery ( I live in Ibadan). I mean, for a new bakery opening, what number of sales daily should one project. Do you think establishing road side sales points will help? I will like to read from you. Thanks |

Great info! Please, must I have submitted the DS160? Can I just use the reference number pending lekefew: Login to AVITS dashboard and go to support on the menu, create a ticket, select Profile Inquires for the topic , fill the form and upload your new DS-160 form in the attachment section and submit. Wait for 24 hours and your confirmation number will be updated on the appointment, you'll get a response on the ticket letting you know it has been updated. I don't know if the weekend will affect the response time. I did mine yesterday and got a response today.
I asked this question a week ago and nobody replied. I figured it out and I thought to help someone else |

Congratulations! How old was your son when your wife traveled? Roon9: *Visa Approved* Date: 21st Feb. Attempt: 2nd Deficit: 6,237 Vo : pretty woman of Dominican descent Location: Abuja
My wife is the F1 and she left Aug, 2024. At her first attempt, we all travelled down but was denied. Two weeks to the slated date she got full funding but for some reasons they couldnt send a i-20 that reflected the funding and we went with almost 52k deficit; we didn't stand a chance. Upon her second attempt however, it reflected and she was approved but I just didn't want to take the risk so I stayed back.
On the day of the interview, I tried to be very relaxed and didn't rush down even though I was slated for 9am, I got there few minutes to 9am & joined the long queue( from our first outing I got to know that as long as you are for that date the time stated isn't important)
*Interview*
*Vo* : pass me your passport & i-20s and where are we going today F2: I'm traveling to columbus, Ohio with my son for three weeks during my annual leave and his summer holiday to visit my wife. She's a first year *** student at the **** currently on full funding.
VO : how long did you say you would be staying F2: three weeks.
( long pause, she kept checking my son's passport and F1 i-20. She would leave and return, check her system & call out for someone. They were laughing and checking while I was rembering my hallelujah challenge the night before and praying. After 10 minutes plus she asked me to step back as they are trying to verify some things. The next fellow was called upon to be interviewed and was summarily dismissed after which she called me back. At this point she was still not saying anything and was just focusing on the findings on my i-20. She seem to be writing them out & double checking with what she has on her screen. Meanwhile, before we came, my sister had jokingly asked my son to tell the VO that he wants to see his mommy, while we were asked to wait, I got really discouraged since I could hear everyone else around me getting bounced so I reminded my son to keep saying he wants to see his mommy once the lady calls us again. I thought this would be fruitless because I can't really communicate with him once I'm back with her.
VO: (After what felt like an eternity) How did you to meet? F2: she was my neighbor during our undergrad years sometime in 2012 and we connected due to our shared passion for food, music & football. (She chuckled at this) VO: When did you get married? F2: 4th, July 2020. Around that time the covid pandemic was just getting relaxed so we were lucky to have about 170 persons present for our big day ( Nepa took light at this point and I could see her big screen. She had two separate DS pages side by side so I figured she was comparing the former with the current one. I used this opportunity to whisper to my son to "shout it" and he started singing it. Lol
VO: What do you do? ( she say up to look at my son and she asked what he's saying. I quickly told her and she rolled her eyes.
F2: I quickly started about how I'm a solar engineer with 3 branches in different locations....
VO : (seems to be getting impatient now) how much do you make?
F2: Due to the seasonal nature of the solar business, we sometimes make a quarterly returns of upto....
VO: cuts in.. I need an amount F2 : 7,000,000
VO: (checks her screen, prolly to confirm my former DS input regarding this) Is he your biological child? And pass me his birth certificate. F2: yes
VO: Pass me your marriage certificate. F2: (I have about 4 documents regarding my marriage and didn't really know which she meant so I have her all of them including a wedding picture. She sighed and returned everything that only the certificate. Omo! I gave her what I thought was the certificate and she started checking the dates, comparing with her screen.
VO: have you been outside Nigeria before? F2: I was in Ghana and togo last December where I collaborated with **, a NGO dedicated to empowering & transforming lives through efficient solar powered water solutions for rural communities across Sub Saharan Africa. Over the course of 3 days, my team and I successfully installed 17 automated water stations in Kumasi, Tamale & Kpalime (Togo)........
VO: congratulations, I'll be holding on to your passport...... Bla blaaaa blaaa! As the saying goes, I couldn't even hear anything after that. All thanks to God Almighty for this victory and also to Sir Don for the mentorship and guidance.
Many thanks Oyotunji and everyone else on this page for all the advice and corrections though I was a silent follower. To all prospective applicants please follow up on the transcripts of those that aced the interviews and learn from it. |

Most likely your network! The booking calendar will likely show you July,2025 before it switches to the available dates depending on how fast your internet is. Most people often mistake that for availability. If it’s showing July 2025 and you can’t click, then your network is slow. And yes, July isn’t available on the portal. Ewachukwu: Hello Everyone, good morning
Please, I really need help. I keep seeing Abuja dates but I am unable to be booked. I have selected dates when available months comes up but still unable to book. This has been going on for days. Also, it is not network problem being that I experience it early hours of the morning too.
I dont know what could be wrong? Or If i am doing the right thing?
Also, I have refreshed the page severally and it is still the same thing.
Any help rendered on how best to handle this will be appreciated. Thank you. |

●▪︎ If you are doubting you may try to submit another one (you can submit multiple if the system permits you) but the system will notify you to wait for the outcome of the one you already submitted.
■ ER email notification is not consistent nowadays, therefore the only way to be certain is to click on " Reschedule Appointment" intermittently. 👍 |

Mine and my Aunty’s Spanish Visa was approved and unfortunately annulled last week. She’s been to Spain twice for medical purpose and I’m only accompanying her. Our application was updated just 3 days after submission and we had to wait about a week before we got our passport. I guess the passports were recalled. It was so disheartening to find a visa sticker with “annulled” crossed over it. We don’t know why it was annulled as the only reason given was for refusal. We’ve mailed the consular and she’s advised us to appeal. Kindly tell me how to go about the appeal. Thanks |

I included receipts for all sales and other transactions made. I also included a breakdown of all earnings and how they relate to my business. Maybe I should have attached more documents. Ashirioluwa: Whoever examines your application claims they were unable to determine the source of the funds in your account. He or she was unable to establish if the deposits in your account were from your business transactions or not.
Next time You'll have to compose a letter to detail your earnings relating to your business activities. You will also need to attach supporting documents for your claims. Documents such as contract letters, sales invoices, and receipts.
Sometimes we need to write a letter to clarify some of our documents and stories so that anyone who reads them will be able to understand us, and these people will be able to make a better decision at end of the day. |

Hello house, I’m still waiting to see what y’all think I should do about the refusal dalobaba: Hello House!
My refusal came in this afternoon! Please kindly read and react to it. See below
REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0 You have applied for a visa to visit the UK. In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor- rules), I have considered:
your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it your immigration history
The decision I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph V4.2 of Appendix V because: You State that you intend to travel to the UK to visit your relative. You state that you are self- employed, with an annual income of 10,000,000 NGN (£18,228.9 @ exchange rate £1 = 543.836 NGN). You state that you have an additional annual income of 30,000,000 NGN (£54,686.7) from investments and you personally intend to spend £2500 on your trip. In support of your application you have submitted your incorporation document along with your bank statement. Whilst I note these, your account does not confirm that you are genuinely in receipt of the level of income you declare. It is not possible to determine the origin of the deposits made into the account and whether they are related to your claimed business income, and I note that the evidence submitted does not confirm the income form investments you declare. Whilst I note you have provided a written transactional breakdown, I am not satisfied that you have provided an accurate reflection of your financial circumstances in Nigeria is stated on your application. Given the above I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted under the visitor route and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.
NEXT STEPS In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.
Please note that I submitted a domiciliary account with $5,700 as balance, a company account with 9.5m and a savings with 4.1m |

CanPR: This is a typical misrepresentation by Nigerian applicants, lying unnecessarily to secure visit visas without thinking about the repercussions. Read about the Sudanese 30 year old with contradictory date of birth in his USA and Canada immigration history. To be clear, this is what documents fraud and misrepresentation look like:
Document fraud can involve either false or altered documents, such as: -passports and travel documents; -visas; -diplomas, degrees, and apprenticeship or trade papers; -birth, marriage, final divorce, annulment, separation or death certificates; and -police certificates. If an individual lies on an application or in an interview with an IRCC officer, this is also fraud and a crime.
If an individual sends false documents or information, IRCC will refuse the application. The individual could also:
-be forbidden to enter Canada for at least five years; -have a permanent record of fraud with IRCC; -have his or her status as a permanent resident or Canadian citizen taken away (if applicable); -be charged with a crime; or -be removed from Canada
So, what should you do? You have 4 choices:
One, do not apply ever.
Two, wait for 10 years data retention in USA to pass before you apply to Canada.
Third, apply now but do not mention previous refusal. Your application might be successful but you should not sleep on it, IRCC might be waiting for you at the time you apply for your citizenship, when you travel to USA and information is shared with Canada or when you eventualy marry and want to sponsor your spouse or other family members from Nigeria.
Last option is to indicate previous visa refusal in the questionnaire and then write a letter of explanation about your previous misrepresentation. Hopefully your application will be successful and you won't have to look over your shoulders. Thanks so much for this. |

ladymarshall: Some have come here with situations just like yours but did not report back whether they got PPRs or not.
Note that no two applications are the same. There are other indices aside the visa issue which the VO would use to decide your case, NOC, reference letter, POF which would be different from someone who had a similar visa case as you.
Apply following the guide on page 1 and hope that the VO would be kind enough to give you a second chance and clean slate. Thank you so much |

chicyclass: My PPR JOURNEY PART 2 - IELTS (a.k.a The humbler of men)
Let me start by saying that IELTS showed me shegeeeey! Again error go dey breekete for this write up wella
First attempt. 05/Jan/2019..BC LRWS.. 7.5,,6.5,,6.5,,7
I went to this exam with all excitement that we were about to enter the process. I never envisaged what was coming, only if we can see the future.
Second attempt 09/Feb/2019.. BC.
I practised soteey, I almost finished all the listening test on YouTube.
Hia!! It came out. LRWS.. 9,,8,,6.5,,7.5 Remark unchanged... I na-anukwa!!
At this point, i lost confidence in myself. Just like what people say "I have never failed any exam in my life". Not just that I have never failed any exam until IELTS, I have never been an average student. With the help of my husband, I dusted myself and registered for another.
Third attempt.. 27/APRIL/2019..BC
A friend advised me to register with MOD. Stubborn me! I say na the same thing everywhere. A na-emenu!
This time, i practised only writing. I reached out to Wasseynewest and joined his group, the guy is a Saint, I must say. I learnt a lot from him. I also reached out to Johnnybravo who was very busy with other candidates at the time. He had a session with me. He said that my writing was good to fetch me 7 at least. I said to myself "IELTS na me and you for one leg trouser". I must pass, Iwu!!
Brethren! It came out... LRWS.. 9,,8.5,,6.5,,8 I am still awaiting the remark ni!
So Sad. Infact, I felt worthless. I cried eeeh. When I see sample writing on IELTS, I just wondered what I did wrong. I thought i had always written what could atleast fetch me 7. Dusted myself the 3rd time, and quickly registered for another IELTS.
Fourth attempt.. 23rd May 2019
This time I registered with MOD. A friend chatted me up one day that he had an IDP writing material. He said that he would share the material on one condition, that I must unlearn all the writing techniques or whatever I had learnt and study the 200 paged materials to the teeth. I agreed and promised too. After all, what did the ones I learnt fetch. Na so I read this material bumper to bumper and line by line without thinking of Jay, Liz etc. On the test day, I must say this was one of most stressful days of my life. I had to take all the tests same day. I came out of the exam hall downcast and unfulfilled about my writing.I was just blabbering during my speaking test was supposed to be the next day. In my mind, I was planning on the next date to repeat the exam. I started practicing for writing since that day, I focused on Jay and was looking forward to 29th June to write another one because I was not giving up.
Today, I woke up early and broke down in tears . My husband consoled me soteey he tire. When it was 11am, I started purging and developed fever. I thought "My God, why have you forsaken me". Meanwhile, i hadn't checked my result ooo.
At 12:20pm, Mbanu! Why am I doing this to myself ni! Brethren! I checked.. Lo and behold!
LRWS... 9,,8.5,,7,,7
My people, I can't describe the joy. The purge stopped, the fever vanished. Indescribable joy..WHAT A RELIEF!! I wonder what PPR will feel like.
Venorite and Yemblaze, God will do it for you guys too. For all those who are still in the struggle, never give up.
If you need that IDP material feel free to send me Pm. I will share because it worked for me. NB.. It is IDP material so therefore write with MOD because I don't know if BC will follow same technique.
The feeling eeh! Chaii! Chukwu daalu!! To God be the glory. Congrats. Please share the material with me. okosunighodalo@gmail.com |
