I’m posting on behalf of my brother please anyone that has a similar experience or knows how to go about it should help us out

“I want to apply for the Transport Based Occupations Category specifically code 277, Flying Instructor. I’m a flight instructor with 1 year 1 month of experience. I have a degree and master’s in Mechanical Engineering. I’ve read up on the immigration website and it seems I’m eligible but I’m being told otherwise by someone that is a citizen of Canada. I would like to get an idea on how to go about this application.”

Thank you

I can only answer no 1,if you can get reference letter from your work place, you are good to go,show account statement showing salary paid, or cash certificate stating that you are paid in cash, you are covered.

You may not need to submit your appointment or employment letter.

Thanks ma'am...... Other experienced folks in the house should kindly share their take.

Good day house, I recently joined the Express Entry pool and will like some advice/guidance to avoid errors and possibly increase my scores.

My scores currently stand at 464points and I shouldn't be losing points via age for another 9/10 months.

1.) My appointment letter doesn't include job roles, just indicating that I have been appointed to a certain role. Should this be a concern?

2.) I currently entered the pool as sales Engineer for NOC 62100 – Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade. Does it qualify as a stem related NOC. I'm asking against stem draws. I believe I can also switch to 21301 – Mechanical engineers. Please advice.

3.) If I receive an invitation to apply, would I need to submit Job reference for all my listed employments/NOCs or just my primary NOC? I would like to know so I do not give myself unnecessary stress with documentation.

4.) Can POF funds be provided in multiple accounts? E.g naira and dollar or savings and mutual funds.

5.) Is there a link that indicates the NOCs considered for Stem draws? Kindly share please.

6.) I added 16months work experience from my father's company where I'm also listed as a shareholder 15% of total shares. Hope this isn't an issue.

7.) Kindly advise how I can improve my scores or be better qualified for PNPs. I have a sibling in Alberta but they've put their draws on hold and I'm yet to get good evidence that they previously selected Sales Engineer/Mechanical Engineers or any other NOCs I may qualify for in their provincial draws.

I really anticipate your guidance guys.

1. You need reference from employer, employment letter is not necessary if you get the reference, if you are unable to get reference then the employment letter plus other documents like payslip, promotion letter and others can be used but even that the roles must be specified in the employment letter, since yours doesn't have it, it wont be helpful to your application.

2. The 2 STEM draws that have held didn't include 62100, neither was 21301 invited for the STEM draws.

3. You need to get reference only for the job you claimed points for. if your only NOC is 21301 and that is what you claimed, you don't need reference for a previous role in administration that you did prior or after the 21301. you only add that to your personal history but no evidence is required for that.

4. YES

5.https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/ministerial-instructions/express-entry-rounds/invitations.html?q=274#wb-auto-28

6. No issue, make sure you list all companies that you are involved with either as a share holder or employee in your personal history, even as a volunteer.

7.I don't have full info about Alberta PNP route at the moment. I am not aware if they put their draws on hold. I doubt the validity of such claim because they had a draw on the 20th Feb 2024

Hello house, please I need advise.
I recently just got Ontario nomination certificate, but I have also applied for Saskatchewan since last July. Do I have to withdraw the Saskatchewan application? And if so, are there any complications this will bring to my PR application when I get ITA in the next draw? Also the withdrawal process is not clear, is there anyone who has withdrawn their SINP application that can help please. Thank you

Why did the said Citizen say otherwise? Just curious…

Here’s an excerpt from IRCC website:
Eligibility for the transport occupations category
To be eligible, you must

have accumulated, within the past 3 years, at least 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience)
in a single occupation listed in the table below
in Canada or abroad”

A quick check shows Flying Instructor (NOC 72600) is one of the occupations, so if he can get more than 6 months reference letter showing he does the tasks listed in the NOC requirements in addition to reference letter(s) from other employers he meets the requirements stated on the website.
He should try and do some research himself and not rely on what citizen said.

Here’s the websites:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile/rounds-invitations/category-based-selection.html

Good day everyone. This is my first time here. Please I need clarifications on the following :
1 There are indications that ielts fee might change by 15th of March. I currently want to book ahead of April and I was told by my agent that I needed international passport for the booking. Unfortunately, it's not yet ready as I just did capturing 2 weeks ago. Please what can I do to meet up with the book before the price changes
2 My highest qualifications is BEng Chemical Engineering and I'm applying for express entry. Do I need additional qualifications like masters to earn more points or I will be good with my present certification
3 What job roles are available for Chemical Engineers over there or do I have to transition to other fields like Tech?

All the documents required for submission are available on the OINP website.

Also, there's a Telegram group for OINP (I can add you to the main group then you would have to message one of the admins so they can add you to the OINP group. You'd have to show proof of getting the NOI to be added.)

Send an email so I can add you to the main group.
